If this place is considered a food court, then I think it's a very nice quaint and good food court. With the three selections of food and drinks you can choose from, the spot definitely hits the spot. This spot gets 5 stars just because of Grapeholic ; if you are a fan of grape drinks, you will definitely find something that you'll get addicted to. The drinks are very interesting and different from the usually tea spots that you'll visit. NOTE: The drinks are on the pricier side but in my opinion it's fine once in a while , but not something one should buy regularly. My favorite, the Grapeholic, which uses non alcoholic Heineken, infused with their formula of grape drink, leaves me craving it every once in a while. Their clay pot rice and noodles are also good but nothing special. They are also decently priced and not too outrageous. The ambience and surrounding of the location let's you enjoy their food in a great atmosphere. Hubby and I walked by on El Camino Real and was surprised to see this place open. This building which had housed a Japanese restaurant had been closed during the pandemic so we were pleasantly surprised to walk in from the back (where the parking lot is) and see that it was bustling with life. The Social Eatery has three restaurants in one place. As of 6/19, Grapeholic (boba drinks) and Noodleosophy (noodle soup) were in operation. The beef noodle soup with Biang Biang noodles was so yummy. The noodles were chewy, soup rich yet light and spicy, the beef tender, and the broccoli just right. Portion was large and filling. I'd order this again. The cotton candy grape slush drink was refreshing and one of a kind. I don't see this in other boba milk tea shops. It had grape bits in it and was topped with sweet and salty cheese foam. Perfect after a long walk in the sun. Really glad we tried this place. If you dine in, you sit at an open table and use the scan PR code with phone to place an order. Easy peasy! The things I think could improve is the placement of the potted plants and self serve water table at the entrance of the establishment. I came here for lunch after landing in SFO on a Sunday. It's like a fusion of a food hall with a restaurant, as it has 3 different vendors in the same place. At your table, you have the option to order across all 3 shops, which were Noodleosophy, Rice Monster, and Grapeholic. Note that only the first two have entrees. My partner and I each ordered a claypot rice (bao zai fan) from Rice Monster. I got the chicken and mushroom, while my partner got the pork ribs with a side of cordyceps and pork rib soup added. We both enjoyed our food, though sadly the rice at the bottom was not crispy as it characteristically should be in claypot rice. The soup was well-seasoned though it felt a bit oily. It was still quite comforting though as it reminded me of the Cantonese soups my mom used to make. Overall, a good place for lunch in Millbrae! read more

SNEAKY TIP TRICK, good food. I would of given a 5 star but what the heck with so many restaurants start automatically adding gratuity for small groups. A 15% tip was included (and you can't change it even if you are unhappy with the service). BUT at the end of purchase, the option of additional tip is on 12% meaning if YOU DON'T LOOK AT YOUR BILL CAREFULLY and just click on "Pay check", you will give ANOTHER 12% on top of the 15% that was force added. Oh man... happened to try this place by chance and it was phenomenal. The interior design is incredibly fun and as the name suggests, really is a great place for groups. My wife had the unagi don and enjoyed it and I was thrilled they had Szechuan Cumin Lamb which is served with either lo mein or chow fun noodles. My dish was stellar, and though the noodles aren't "Xian Famous Foods" of NYC hand stretched, they were still wok fried perfectly. Will definitely go here again when I'm in South City. read more

The concept itself is great - classic indoor food court with mobile ordering and a few tables to sit and gather. There's plenty of parking, as they placed this court in the middle of nowhere. The main issue is that the mobile ordering is a little defunct. Orders go in, but sometimes they come out in 15-20 minutes, sometimes it's 45 minutes, sometimes they just forget. This cute place is near Milbrea Bart station. You can even walk over there from the station. They services handmade noodles, pot rice and other yummies but my favorite are their drinks. The 3 times I have been here are for their drinks. Their drinks are very unique. It's not your typical milk tea or boba. If you like mochi you should give this place a try. read more

The food is pretty good. I was last here about 6 months ago and is happy to see that there has been a few items added to the menu. The food came pretty quickly and was pipping hot! The prices are slightly on the higher side but overall not too bad. There is a 15% service fee that is added automatically so there's no need to additional tipping for dine in. Admittedly, a 15% tip is not much in the Bay Area anymore but service in this establishment is essentially non-existing. No one is interested or even available to help you with anything. There's a shelf with Togo containers for leftover with a sign telling you to NOT grab things on your own yet there's no one around for you to ask. Been going to grapeholic for their drinks and wanted to try their food as well. Drinks are good but wished I could get some of the drinks without tea. The mochi add on is surprisingly good. My favorite is the grapeholic. Husband likes the taro milk with mochi. I love the biang biang noodles. The texture is great and soup unfortunately cost more but worth it. Definitely a hidden gem! All the Chinese food is spectacular. One standout is the claypot rice. The crispy rice on the bottom, may sometimes be referred to as tahdig or socarrat, is really crunchy. Make sure to scrape the bottom. The different textures are what really make the dish. Also their handmade biang biang noodles are very flavorful. The beef short rib noodles were very tender. I totally spaced on writing a review for this spot! I came here with my sister back in February. It was our first time. The directions were weird on the GPS because there's a parking lot next to the restaurant but it is not the restaurant's parking lot but we eventually found it and it made sense when we parked. It was a really cute place. It felt cozy. It's one of those places where you walk in and find a table and use the QR code on the table with your phone to order your food then a waiter brings your food over which is cool. We ordered a rice bowl and appetizer to share and we each got the red bean sesame balls and boba/jelly drinks which was delicious but kind of wish there was more of a selection since they were out of some items. Actually, we did not even finish them half way. Thus is my second time and the first time visit their noodle bar. I ordered pickles and pork BiangBiang noodle and fried Chechen breast. Right amount of pickles and pork on noodle and tasted good. The fried chicken breast is kind of thin but tasted good. For noodle bar, I would have rated 4 stars. The flavor of the drinks is on point. My wife really like the grape drinks where they use real grapes! I knocked out a pint because there boba was not cooked correctly.
