Didn't have lunch plans at the house so I stumbled upon this pizzeria in the neighborhood as I discovered they also offer lunch specials. I ordered the 2 slices and soda combo only $7.99 and my wife ordered the pizza and salad combo with drink included for $7.49. You get a cheesy, moist and tasty Sofia's pepperoni pizza and the garden salad taste good as well all with 20oz sodas not a bad deal. Overall, the people at the pizzeria are friendly, take out only and the food was great! It's great to support a local pizzeria until next time I'll go for a whole pizza! read more

Super friendly. The service was great. My boyfriend and I read the great reviews and had to try it. The food was amazing and home made. The meatball sub was one of the best I've ever had. Really fair deals for lunch as well. You get a lot of food for your money. OMG what happened to Sofia's Pizzeria on Potranco? It used to be the best pizza around. Then they changed ownership and everything has changed. First we were told that they no longer deliver to our neighborhood. They only go as far as Grossenbacher on Potranco. That means they drive right past our neighborhood but can't deliver. That seems to be fixed now so we ordered a pizza and parmesan garlic wings. The wings were so bad my wife actually spit it out on the first bite. I wish I had because I ate all the rest of the wings and spent the night vomiting. Sorry but I can't ever order from them again, which is a shame because that only leaves places like Little Cesar's and Dominos. I guess I'll use them instead. I can't spend another night vomiting my guts out. read more

This place really went down hill. A few month back we came in and they have a sewer leak instead of shutting down as per health code they didn't. I saw the staff squeeging the sewage back into the drains as the staff kept on making pizzas. Completely disgusting and we haven't went back ever since. I wasn't the only one from my neighborhood who witnessed this on May 2nd. read more

Best pizza in this side of town! (NW side, Potranco outside Loop 1604) Their rewards program isn't great. Doesn't actually ever seem to give discounts or reward pizzas like Papa John's or other chains. And the prices are higher than chain places but you do get what you pay for. Sophia's exceeded every expectation we had! My mom was in town for the weekend so we decided to look up small business pizza places, when we stumbled upon sophia's. The reviews were fantastic and the pictures of the food were mouth watering. We ended up ordering a specialty pizza, pizza fries (didn't know these were a thing until I saw them on the menu!) and mozzarella sticks! The delivery driver showed up within the expected time window and was very friendly. The food was AMAZING even down to the dipping sauces on the side. Food is very good, but service is not always consistent. On several occasions they get our large orders wrong. Although they've offered to try to make up for it by promising discounts for future orders its been an inconvenience several times already and I would prefer they double check their orders rather than a future discount. read more
