came to try it out after a friend told me about this cafe. came with the impression that there was going to be a long line but there was only one person in front of me. service was a 10/10 the lady taking and making my order was so sweet and patient with me. i ordered the banana soft cloud matcha and the softie matcha. i'll start off with the banana matcha, it was so good! i will say the banana overpowers the matcha slightly but it's not like it just tasted like banana, they complimented each other very well! the softie matcha was also a hit, with the matcha cream on top it wasn't crazy strong which is how i prefer my matcha. i love how it gives off a cozy feeling inside of the cafe. i also love how it's not far away from my house so i will definitely be coming here more often! read more

My favorite cafe!! This place is truly special. The coffee is excellent & you can feel how much care and love goes into every order. It's become my go-to spot to bring my laptop and work because the vibe is awesome, the seating is comfortable, and there are plenty of outlets. Their açaí bowls and snacks are amazing, and the owners are constantly adding creative new items to the menu like the carrot cake latte. The entire staff is also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit feel really personal. I've been coming here since it first opened and it just keeps getting better. so whenever I'm in the area, this is my definite go to for either lunch post workout meal. They have an amazing croissant menu. I love the Capri sandwich whatever sauce they use. I don't know if it's like a mix between pesto and avocado. The croissants are fresh and buttery, and the strawberry Matcha is to die for I've also had a couple of the healthy snacks like the Chia pudding, but I'm super excited to they keep adding things in their menu and it's a woman on business I think is amazing. Visited: August 31, 2025 - First time here This was my first time visiting this café in Hawthorne and I was looking forward to supporting a spot in my area . Unfortunately, my experience wasn't welcoming. * The coffee was pretty tasteless, even with added flavors. * There were no trash cans inside, which felt unusual for a café that serves pastries. When I asked, the older woman (who I believe may be the owner) responded with some attitude. * The pastries looked like they had been sitting out since the day before (or longer). There were crumbs everywhere and the cookies weren't neatly stacked . * The environment overall didn't feel welcoming. As a mixed-race person, it was uncomfortable noticing that the staff was all white in a diverse city like Hawthorne, and the way we were stared at felt uninviting. * I came in at 9:05am, just five minutes after opening, and things already felt unprepared. I really wanted to like this place since it's in my neighborhood, but overall it didn't feel like a warm, inclusive café experience. Hopefully with some improvements, it can be better for future customers . UPDATE: Thank you for your response. I'd like to clarify a few things: * Drinks: My friend and I ordered two different drinks, and both were completely tasteless. That's why I didn't ask for a remake--it wasn't a one-off mistake, it was a clear reflection of the quality we received. * Attitude & Customer Service: I mentioned attitude because it was present. As a new customer walking in right at opening, I was met with no smile, no warmth, and instead constant glances that did not feel welcoming. If anything, it shows you were more concerned with proving something rather than listening to a customer's feedback. It was pretty cool! I enjoyed the Cafe and I would definitely come back. Seems like a mellow and good group comes in here to hang out and have good coffee. My only issue is that it is really expensive! $10 for a large Matcha is just a little bit too much for me and I can find cheaper elsewhere. But locally? I don't think this cafe can be beat in Hawthorne and the staff seemed friendly. I hope they host some special events and maybe make the seating a bit more comfortable. read more

For years, the coffee scene here was pretty rough; just garbage Starbucks, and if you wanted something quality, you had to drive to Gardena, El Segundo, or Manhattan Beach. So to see a beautiful, thoughtful café pop up right down the street from my old house honestly blew my mind. I came by yesterday for the first time to grab coffee with my mom, and I was seriously impressed by the atmosphere and care that's clearly gone into this place. Very welcoming young ladies took our order and made our drinks promptly. I had already had my coffee for the day, so I ordered a green tea, but I'm definitely coming back to try their coffee next time. The owner even walked up and handed me $2 because of a small mix-up with my order, so I appreciated the honesty and integrity. I wish nothing but the best for this café.
