This review is a little late but I wanted to say how much I loved it here. Such a wonderful study environment with high quality drinks. I went a month or so ago and the workers are very friendly and warm. They additionally gave me and my friend two free lattes since they were doing a photo shoot with the two drinks. Out of the 3 drinks I tried, I can safely say this is high quality coffee. I also loved the caprese croissant I had for lunch. I'm the type of person will order multiple coffees, and food, when I post up at a coffee shop to do some work, but not when it's $7 for one the size of a small. This place has a nice layout, wifi and plugs, making it comfortable to work in. I was only here for about one coffee's worth of time, so I don't feel so bad. The mocha I had was more of a dark chocolate tasting mocha. If you are looking for a more Gen-Z, minimalist looking coffee shop then maybe this is more of your thing. read more

We stopped and got cold brew with banana foam and it was really good. It was made in house and doesn't have an artificial taste to it. We were up here for a swim class for the kids and needed a caffeine fix. The area is so-so, the store is cute inside. Will definitely go back, if we are in the area. read more

I saw their menu and saw some of the drinks. The reviews were high so i thought the place would be fire. And I'll say damn that was some good coffee. I told the barista is was my first time here and she was really helpful and welcoming. Told her I had a nut allergy so she was very understanding. I had the Belgium mocha I think it's called. Iced with extra ice cuz I like my drinks cold cold. The taste was amazing, kind of like dark chocolate but having that coffee taste. 10/10. The inside is really cozy and I love the fountain they got in the corner. Parking is no issue. U can park near the outside spots or in the neighborhood area. I parked in 130th street cuz I just wanted a guaranteed spot and I like to walk. This place is a banger. I want to try the French lavender latte next. It looks awesome. I started coming here with my chihuahua after her sister passed away, and we were both feeling pretty down. I was so grateful to discover that this place is dog friendly--it gave us somewhere warm and welcoming to go while we healed. This a nice cafe along Hawthorne boulevard. Growing up I don't think we've had a cute local feeling (not hipster) cafe in the area. It's a lot larger inside than it look from the outside, has tall ceilings. I went on a weekday morning and it took a while for my latte. Granted there was only one worker who I can tell was trying her best and there were about 3-4 orders in front of me that ordered acai bowls. But I was still willing to wait and support. The cafe is decorated cute, it's very clean and inviting with some available seating but it fills up quickly as people come to study. The times I've been here I've only seen the same 2 people behind the register so the service has been okay. The same woman who took orders also made the drinks so it was a bit of a wait at the counter while you watch her make the drinks as she finishes to come and take the next order. There's not many employees from what I can tell so it just takes more time than you'd hope. However the drinks are pretty good, I've had their vanilla latte and their tira misu latte. The tira misu tastes better and was sweeter but both were enjoyable. They also offer pastries, açaí bowls, and matcha. The pastries/cookies seem to be bought in bulk from Costco. read more

Soft cafe is a great new spot in South Bay, currently in my top 3, not gonna lie. Coming in seeing roughly 40 reviews, I knew it was fairly new on the scene but they came with it! We ordered the French lavender latte (7.7/10) & banana soft cloud matcha (8.8/10). For someone who is a huge fan of banana and matcha, that drink was chuggable! Service was amazing and they were very helpful when it came to ordering our drinks! I love the setting of the shop too, it is a great spot to mellow out and get work done if needed or going with people to have conversation. There were some board games and books to read also! came to try it out after a friend told me about this cafe. came with the impression that there was going to be a long line but there was only one person in front of me. service was a 10/10 the lady taking and making my order was so sweet and patient with me. i ordered the banana soft cloud matcha and the softie matcha. i'll start off with the banana matcha, it was so good! i will say the banana overpowers the matcha slightly but it's not like it just tasted like banana, they complimented each other very well! the softie matcha was also a hit, with the matcha cream on top it wasn't crazy strong which is how i prefer my matcha. i love how it gives off a cozy feeling inside of the cafe. i also love how it's not far away from my house so i will definitely be coming here more often! read more

Tried the Coastal Cloud Latte and the Mango Matcha both incredible! The Coastal Cloud has this unique smooth flavor and the Mango Matcha is made right in front of you tasted it! My favorite cafe!! This place is truly special. The coffee is excellent & you can feel how much care and love goes into every order. It's become my go-to spot to bring my laptop and work because the vibe is awesome, the seating is comfortable, and there are plenty of outlets. Their açaí bowls and snacks are amazing, and the owners are constantly adding creative new items to the menu like the carrot cake latte. The entire staff is also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit feel really personal. I've been coming here since it first opened and it just keeps getting better.
