I have ordered to go from Soho but never have actually eaten in there. The man that always takes our orders always sounds like he's in a hurry for some reason, I love their pizza,but their spaghetti and meatballs? It sucks, I was craving meatballs one day and decided to try them out. Never again,reminded me of a cheap cafeteria food,and too much garlic on the spaghetti sauce. The best grandma's pizza I've ever had. The crust is truly unique - the perfect thickness and density. The margherita is another must try to sample their regular/thin crust. It is not overly thin and crispy, and I love the way they roll up the edges so neatly. The prices are a bargain. There is limited seating, but during the summer, it's a great spot to grab a slice with friends and sit at one of the outside tables. (Bonus - there's great ice cream right next door!) My only criticism is the lack of creative toppings - however, this place is not trying to be something it isn't. Soho brings Danbury true NYC pizza. read more

I was born in NY but raised in Danbury. I'm back in NY again. But whenever it's the pizza mood in Danbury, Soho's is the ONLY SPOT to be at for pizzeria style pizza. From 1980 till Soho's opened I was desperate looking for that NY style thin crust. Yes I have had pizzas in every corner shop of Danbury (My first slice at Firenze's I think it was called? lol.) Nobody could get that thin crust NY style right. And so all those years we put up with whatever mediocre styles of pizza were around. A lot of pizza shops came and went. (Including Pizza Hut. meh.) So I was skeptical when Soho's opened up. Had to give it a try. Man was I floored on that first slice!! They have a patented, very unique style of the NY style crust. (I have only been to one place in Manhattan that has a very similar style) Soho's also uses that higher quality cheese that just oozes. Not that cheaper "rubbery" kind you find at other Danbury joints. If I have any criticism it's that Soho's does need to improve on the flavor of the pizza sauce. Needs to be more robust. More Italian. And I must mention that the service here is always friendly. They were very smart to place next to WestConn to ensure steady customers. Not to mention the genius in pairing Soho's and Twister's together. Everyone's favorite combo. In a modern complex WITH PARKING!! Something that people don't plan for anymore in downtown Danbury. Well planned, well managed. Thank you! Six stars if I could have given it to you. I hope to see Soho's stay a permanent fixture in Danbury. read more

Soho Pizza has always been a hometown fave of mine. The pizza is delicious but I love, love, love their Soho salad which has walnuts, goat cheese, mango (just to list a few of the ingredients) and I take it up a notch by adding chicken. My mouth is watering as I write this and I have to say it always tastes the same, there's never a bad moment with my food! What doesn't hurt is they are right next door to Double Twister (some of the best ice cream on the planet). I always come when in town and will continue doing so as long as they're around. read more

Very mediocre in every way. Pizza is as "ok" as possible. Im rating it "meh" because they dont have any form of chicken parmigiana whatsoever. How do you run a pizza place and not have a chicken parmigiana grinder/wedge/sub on your menu? Not only that, but when i called and asked for one (this is how i discovered they dont have it) the person who answered the phone acted as if i was the dumbest person on the planet for thinking that they would have such a radical menu item. Ordered the grandma's pie and a Cesar salad for delivery. Driver was great called to confirm address. But when he arrived he pull out the pizza and the salad out of the oven bag I don't know about you I just can't eat a hot salad. Customer service should not be a thing of the past! I called for delivery and was put on hold and forgot about. They just put the phone down as I could hear everything going on in the background. I hung up and called back- I said to the employee I think you forgot about me and he said yes I probably did we are busy. No apologies or anything! He then said I am going to have to put you on hold again. I asked him to wait and to let me know how long delivery would be to see if I maybe needed to order from somewhere else. Before I could finish my question he said yes you should go ahead and do that. I do not care how busy you are you should never make a customer feel as though their business is not needed! There are many, many pizza places in Danbury, Bethel and the surrounding area. Soho is probably one of the best. They are family owned and they have really good entrees BESIDES pizza for adults that don't want all of those carbs. Their sandwiches and salads are quite good. Substantial amount of food and a great value. The service is also good. It isn't super high end, just consistently good food. read more

We got 3 large pies yesterday for a small family get-together. Everyone raved about how much they liked it especially the cornmeal in the crust. It adds a nice touch to their thin crust. Even my youngest son who normally doesn't eat the crust of most pizzas will finish his slices from Soho. Take-out service is easy and the parking in back has room for both Soho and the ice cream shop next door. read more

I'm sitting in my cubicle in New Jersey and my very favorite brother and sister in law are sitting in the waiting room of danbury hospital. They and their family were waiting for her father to get out of surgery. I skeptically went online to order food for my favorite folks. Soho's online ordering was streamlined and easy. I was going to call and verify but I got busy. My brother in law texted a little while later to thank me for the food. It was delivered to the lobby of the hospital, precisely as directed. We recently moved into the area and tried this pizza place based on others reviews. I would not say this is the "best pizza I've ever had" but it was pretty good. The pizza is 3-star worthy but since they also put bread crumbs or whatever it is on the underside of the pizza's this earned them an additional star. A few pies and salads were pretty expensive, well beyond what I was expecting but I guess since the price of products and gas rose a few years ago but has since gone down recently businesses are forgetting for lower their prices again... silly them. Great pizza, good prices, big variety. Almost never have to wait. Fresh ingredients and delicious thin crust. In the summer there is nice outdoor seating. And go next door for an ice cream for dessert. Just avoid Tuesday's when there are religious gatherings upstairs that can get a little rambunctious. read more

Very good place! My son loves it here and then next door for ice cream. For some reason it seems like they have slowed down or changed a little bit. The priority with orders get mixed up and quick. I saw good reviews and thought I'd try. I took home a carry out; I ordered the medium pepperoni with extra pepperoni, onions, and bell peppers. I took the first bite and didn't even chew when it was amazingly obvious to my tastebuds that this was a great-tasting crust cooked perfectly; not a cracker and not soggy; just right. Then I began eating the pizza and was thrilled with the texture and flavor. Besides the perfect crust (flavor and texture) I love that I can tell that every single thing on the pizza is absolutely fresh. They told me they deliver and not just to a dinky small radius.
