Food is always amazing, service is always great, and it's such a clean, friendly environment! We love Someburros, but the ones that were closest were Peoria or Goodyear. We're SO happy with the surprise location. We've been 3 times since they opened (yes we're obsessed, and our 1 year old always finished his plate, so iykyk) every time has been better than the next. The few bad reviews on here are actually comical. You can't get good Mexican food any cheaper other than maybe Taco Bell. So anyone saying it's expensive it nuts and must not eat out much. First time in for me and multiple for my mom and brother but it was a very enjoyable time! The cashier at the front was very kind and quick in taking our orders. And Judah was so fun and kind walking around! We also appreciate him taking our to go order at the table to make it easier :) We all got burritos and they were so tasty and large! Decided to check out the new Somburros now that it's been open a few weeks. I decided to get it to go. After a few minutes I decided to order the item 2 combo with a shredded beef taco and tostada. It also comes with rice and beans. I was a bit bummed to see their meals don't come with a drink included. This time I did decide to get one anyway. Service was good and pretty quick. Food was good but surprised it was pretty cold already by the time I reached home. It comes in a decent container so I thought it would've stayed warmer. Hot Sauce was good. It's a bit pricy if you think of it as fast food, but better quality to me. If you dine inside chips and salsa are included. The Good: drive up order -- we needed a minute to look at the menu, and the girl was patient waiting. We were ready, she took our order promptly. Filled the order correctly. The food -- combo dinner of cheese enchiladas and an a la carte order of beef taquitos was okay. Temperature was good. Needs Improvement: the intercom system is typically hard to deal with. Girl talked too fast and too soft to understand the first time around. Why do they do this? If you talk so fast you have to repeat yourself, you have gained no time savings. My wife was disappointed the taquitos had no cheese. I was disappointed with the value. $21 for the order. Really disappointed we paid by credit card and got no receipt. Bottom Line: head north a mile to Waddell Rd and go to Torchy's Tacos. Better choice all the way around. read more

The place was modern and attractive and the service was great. The main takeaway is the food was economically priced and satisfying for a local chain restaurant that served Mexican style food. It's a brand new restaurant, and they've been working overtime (probably literally) to make sure things go smoothly. We've been twice since the opening, and both times it has been an excellent experience. As employees are learning to take orders, they've had a manager at each register for people like me who customize each item in their order. Everything went smoothly. The food came out quickly with the order being correct, and everything tasted great. We love Someburros, and we have been anxiously awaiting this new location. It has not disappointed. Even after getting our food, staff have been very friendly and asked if the food is good and if we need anything else. You don't get this kind of service at similar restaurants. We will be back regularly. Side note. One example of service. We were there with a young child who couldn't really eat the chips yet. The manager at the counter also gave us a warm tortilla so our child could break it apart and eat that with us. Finally, a chain Mexican restaurant that serves whole beans! Even better, the food is fresh and well prepared. The quesadillas were overly greasy, taquitos tasted worse than frozen ones from the grocery store and were served a side of inedible store-bought guacamole. Went to drive thru this week. I ordered two simple things, a taco and a bean and cheese burro. It took 15 minutes to get to the window after ordering, and another 18 minutes to get my food while I sat there. When I asked why it took so long for such a simple order, the young girl stated they had "a lot going on", which I assume she thought was a good reason (not this high schooler's fault, she just hands things out). I guess that was true, as cars were backed up 10 deep behind me, probably cursing me out for what they assumed was a massive order. Best of all, when I finally got home, there was NO cheese in the burro, only beans. How can you mess up a burro with only two ingredients. especially after taking forever! Since they charge over $5.00 for this simple burro, they really robbed me of my money. Torchys Tacos will be my spot from now on. If you get your food properly as ordered and in a reasonable time, great for you -- perhaps you should continue on down the road a little way to the casino, as it is your lucky day. read more

I wanted to see what the hype was about and I saw they were open. I asked when they opened and they said last Friday. I placed my order 3 ground beef tacos, 1 chicken taco and the Machaca Beef and Bean Burrito. When the lady rang me up, I said it IS the Beef and BEAN on the menu right? I pointed at the menu on the wall. The reason I asked, the register said Machaca beef. She answered me yes. I was a bit concerned about the price because the burrito was $8.95, nearly $9 for 1 burrito. But, I thought maybe they are big like Chipotle. When I was called to pick up my order, I picked up the bag and asked if everything was in the bag, because it felt so light. She answered yes. When I got home, I couldn't believe how small the burrito was for the price I just paid. I was splitting it with my husband, so there wasn't much when I split it in half AND there wasn't any beans. Nothing else but meat. Moving onto the taco's, my husband got the chicken and the ground beef and I got 2 ground beef. My husband's ground beef taco, had no meat, no cheese, only lettuce in the shell. His chicken taco looked fine. I gave him one of my taco's which were supposed to be ground beef, but turned out to be shredded beef. So, the order was completely wrong except for the chicken taco. With that being said, what I did get was tasty, albeit very expensive ($26 for 4 small tacos and 1 small burrito) for what we got. I will cut them some slack since they are brand new and people are learning and we will give them one more try in a month or two and next time we'll dine in and order a combo meal in the hopes the value for what we spend on the food will be better that way. read more
