I have been here several times since I live nearby. Like…read moremany have already said, for the price point, the food quality and taste cannot be beat. I've tried the pho, garlic noodle with chicken, egg rolls, and bahn mi and everything has been very solid. Service is perfectly fine for a small mom and pop shop. Whenever I'm craving pho, and I don't feel like spending $15+, I always come here since the bowls are a few dollars cheaper. I think they give a little bit less beef, but it's perfect amt for me, and if you want more, it's $5 for an extra serving. Portion is very good for the price, especially in today's economy, where hole in the wall restaurants are trying to charge $18-20 for below avg food. When i don't feel like cooking, this is my go to spot! Maybe I'll go today!

I also liked that they offer multiple dipping sauces for both the fries and burgers. My husband absolutely loved the fries and couldn't get enough of the chipotle sauce. I personally preferred the garlic aioli, and the creamy jalapeño sauce was surprisingly delicious as well--though a little too spicy for me to enjoy more than a taste. Despite my issue with the seasoning, I wouldn't write this place off. I think the burger could be really good with less salt, so we'll probably give it another try and ask if they can go lighter on the seasoning next time.

I recently visited Somethin for brunch, and while the staff was friendly, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The cafe itself has a simple and fresh vibe, but one thing that stood out--unfortunately--was the number of house flies that were buzzing around us. It was a bit of a hassle trying to shoo them away during our meal. We started with the Bulgogi Quesadilla as an appetizer. Honestly, it didn't impress us. It was heavy on the cheese and lacked enough meat, and what was there didn't really feel like bulgogi. It was more like ground meat... For our main, my boyfriend and I shared the Steak Cream Pasta. The pasta and cream sauce were delightful, but the steak was a different story. The color of the steak was a bit off-putting and dry, which made us hesitant to finish it. While the waitress assured us that the color was normal, comparing it to other photos online made us doubt it. Thankfully, we didn't feel sick afterward, so it was probably just a color issue, but it still detracted from the enjoyment. With full respect .. apologies in advance if this color is normal.. I'm not use to steak looking like this. Our friend ordered the grilled octopus, which was served on a bed of mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were great, but the octopus was a bit on the chewy side. It did take a while to get our check, but they were quite busy, so that was understandable. I visited here in the valentine's day, it seems like there were a lot of reservations for today. I saw the instagram advertisement these days and yelp so I wanted to give it a try. The ambience kind of look more like a cafe, the photozone looks kind of awkward for the interior inside, but it's ok,, I wish the targeting is more younger people than older people. The instagram was pretty though. (most of the pictures were so pretty) The food was also so good, I love their gambas, gamberry rose pasta, and Rose tteokbboki. The service is awesome too! We were looking for a place to eat on short notice and stumbled upon this humble restaurant. The inside has such a clean, comfy feeling that made us feel welcome. The setup is standard food court style: order at the counter, take a beeper, wait for it to ring, and return your tray when you're done. So far, we've tried the Chic Bibim Naeng Myun and the Kimchi Wang Mandu. Both were fine -- nothing mind-blowing, but solid for a quick meal. I'd come back if I needed something fast before or after shopping at H Mart. Food comes out quickly, the inside is clean, and there's even a Coway water dispenser with hot and cold water, which is a nice touch. Overall, decent for what it is -- just make sure you know what you're walking into.

I'm not a huge oyster person to begin with, so that was enough for me to pass. The garlic chicken wings were also just okay. The chicken itself was pretty basic, but the garlic sauce didn't really blend well with it. It felt like I was eating chicken and garlic separately, rather than one balanced dish. The golbaengi muchim was probably the most unusual one for me. They add dried pollack inside, which I normally like, but it didn't work well in this dish. Every time I bit into the dried pollack, it felt more like chewing paper than eating something that belonged with the spicy sea snail salad. I can see why some Korean friends might come here for nostalgia or because it's one of the few late-night Korean bar options in the area, but personally, the food just hasn't worked for me. The service was friendly, and the place itself was fine for a casual Korean bar, but the food didn't stand out on either visit. The price also felt pretty high for what we got. On my second visit, three dishes and a few sodas came out to around $120, which made it harder for me to understand why people specifically choose this spot.

I had stopped by this place before in January of this year and also last November, and I got the cockle bibimbap to go at that time. I remember it being a little spicy, but still very tasty. Today, we had the Stir Fried Spicy Pork Rice and Cold Buckwheat Noodle, and both were absolutely delicious. The service here was also very friendly. I asked for an extra bowl to share the Cold Buckwheat Noodle and he kindly gave us a large bowl. The food was delicious, and the service was very kind, so I really liked this place.

Anyways I saw that they had plenty of noodle dishes to choose from so decided to give it a go. Ordered the yukkaejang (spicy braised beef soup) with the rolling dumplings (both kalbi and kimchi). The dumplings were called rolling because I assume they were rolled out and shaped into balls - spherical meat stuffing balls covered with a thin dumpling wrapper. I've eaten dumplings my entire life but this type of dumpling was a first for me so I was very interested in trying this out. Turns out the dumplings were pretty good. It does fall apart pretty easily when picking them up with chopsticks to dip into the sauce which was a bit annoying, so you should be mindful and careful of that if ordering them. The yukkaejang was not the best I've had but it was still pretty good. Prices were fair and the quality of food was solid. I wish they served free water as they make you buy bottles of water if you ask them for water. But with all that being said, I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.

Any question we asked was responded with the an exasperated exhale. It clearly angered her that we didn't know how to use her point of service machine and was angry that we tried to order fried chicken, which is apparently not available anymore, but still on the menu so we got yelled at about that too. We tried to pay with the card, but apparently didn't do it right so it got scolded for that too. If the food wasn't so crazy kid, I would not come back but their front staff could take a long walk off a short pier.
