Was excited to try sonics new sundae. Went to sonic didn't see much of a line 3 cars or so. It took us 20 minutes to reach the order window. Another 10 to get our order taken. We order the sundae and 4 drinks. It took another 20 minutes of waiting in the window to pay and get out order. Order was complete and good, but definitely not worth the wait. I can only imagine if we were to order food. I've been to other busy Sonics and it does not take this long. Hopefully they can get more staff to meet demand. read more

So today was a very unpleasant experience here at Sonic, first off I had put an order for my husband and he's allergic to pickles so he bought the combo for the double cheeseburger with bacon, on the app it said it didn't come with pickles but guess what, they decided to put pickles on it. Second, we placed the order for pick up at 8:30, we arrived there around 8:38 and they made us go through drive thru and wait an extra 10-15 mins. Third, the cashier (didn't get a name but had a purple tee-shirt) was not friendly at all, she didn't ask if we were good if we needed anything else or nothing AND they forgot to put the cheese for the pretzel twist. I never leave reviews for fast food places but this place is incredibly poorly run and managed. For two hot dogs, a fry and milkshake it took 34 minutes while sitting inside. I've been to a handful of Sonics and never had an experience like this. Two tables next to us we're north of 40 minutes and still hadn't gotten a response. I literally heard the cashier tell a woman "we're not taking anymore orders were too backed up", to which the woman replied "well that's the issue, we ordered outside in a stall over 30 minutes ago". They didn't have the cinnamon sticks; we just noticed it wasn't in the bag. When asked they made me order something else after the fact bc a refund of one item wasn't possible. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Waited 40 minutes for two shakes, which were melted. Told the girl at the window they were melted and she said there wasn't anything she could do. Also, ordered a large and a medium shake and received two medium shakes. This place always takes forever and workers could care less. I have been to plenty of Sonics, and love them. So I'm not sure what the problem with this one is? They have been open for a few months, so that is no longer an excuse. We walked in tonight and about 5 people were sitting around looking pretty irritated waiting for food which should have been our first clue. While we were about to order, a gentlemen politely interrupted and asked the cashier where his order was that he had been patiently waiting 40 minutes for. 40 minutes?! For a small order for one person? Another man said he had also been waiting for over 20 minutes for just a drink. What?! There were several other people also waiting. We cancelled our order and requested a refund because we had a hungry toddler and waiting that long wasn't an option. I buy my ice weekly from the drive thru. Recently their card machine wasn't working and instead of just telling me that I had to use cash as they were trouble shooting the problem. They ran out to one of the terminals available in the drive in stalls and processed my transaction, so I didn't have to wait. It was the fastest and most courteous service I have ever had. First and last time I will ever go to this sonic. We decided to give this place a try and it was a horrible idea. We walked into the location to dine in and were ready to order. We pushed the buzzer button inside because I guess nobody monitors the front register. After waiting about 10 minutes we decided we were done waiting and walked out. While walking out we looked into the back room and noticed about 5 employees back there eating and drinking and joking so I guess they didn't have time for customers. I have been to this Sonic a couple times during the day and have had exceptional service, which is why this isn't a one star rating. However, my boyfriend went to pick up food for me tonight and he waited in the drive thru line for at least 40 minutes. If you've been to a Sonic's then you know what you can expect. In a nut shell, it's a bit of a lower end quality fast food, a ton of different food options and desserts with the infamous option to order from and/or eat in your car. Sonics is nostalgic and fun, just don't expect high-quality restaurant grade food. It is a decent, quick pit stop, type of place. It is also a good place to bring the kiddos because of all of the fun foods and desserts. read more

Then we waited a while for our order until my husband finally decided to go inside to ask about our order. After a while I text him to see what was going on with our food and he said nobody had even talked to him despite employees seeing him and a few other customers standing there, nobody said anything to them not even a "we'll be right with you" you guys really need to work on your customer service and how to manage all the different types of ordering or close off some of the outdoor ordering if you can't handle the demand. My husband and I love Sonic and save it as a special treat. On our way out to the River we stopped to get gas and saw this Sonic. Perfect! Food for the trip. I unwrapped my "cheese burger" as we drove off to find two meat patties and nothing else in the bun. No cheese.... no ketchup.... no onions.... nothing. And dried out patties at that. So my husband tells me to just eat his. Well his Bacon Toast burger did have bacon and an onion ring with some cheese and lettuce... and what's missing you say?! The meat patty. Went on 7/25/22 through the drive thru and being the only car at the order window, we waited over 5 minutes for someone to take our order. When we pull up, there is one car at the window and we still had to wait 10 minutes before the manager, Nicolette brought out part of our order and I had to ask 2x for my missing corn dog. Then after waiting forever, I went inside to be told they had no corn dogs ready so it would be at least four more minutes. I got my money back and left with the cold food we had.
