This place is a complete joke. I filed a complaint with sonic corporate from my previous interaction below. "Elizabeth the New General Manger writes this below" when she responded to email email. I was annoyed because i wanted to speak with her, and I even tried to call the drive in several times. I instead got a email response below from her. I did try and email her back and I got no response. So I expect they are just doing what they can to show like they care to sonic corporate, when they could careless about anything. Nothing has improved. Using the excuse here is new management in place and your coaching and warning staff to improve but you have the same problems 8 days later? Why's changed??? Here is her email back to me: "I'm very sorry about the long wait times, and the service you experienced, I can tell you that we are under new management, her being the new GM and she is coaching her staff and warning them on service times. She's read my complaint and she will make sure it doesn't happen again. We will take great care of you, so please come in and will replace your shakes" Well tonight was a complete joke. Went inside the drive in with a new outlook, and also trying to give this place truly a second chance. I trusted the email I received. I went inside the dinning room waited almost 6 minutes, rang the bell. Was never acknowledged. The gal that took my order was flustered and you could see through the doors they were again understaffed, and with the staff they did have, you could see they were in under their heads and couldn't function. I could hear other guests making comments that they've waited 10-12 minutes and still no shakes, and no one has checked up on them. Stalls didn't seem to busy. Dinning room was trashed, dirty floors, tables were a mess and bathroom had no supplies and was filthy. A common theme from this location. I got my shakes 17 minutes after I ordered. They were nasty again, watery. I've given up on this place!!! I also tried to go at a different time to try to take the heat off the busy times. It's apparent that this store has not changed, Elizabeth's response didn't really mean anything. The sad thing is this location is making no effort to change. Still understaffed, quality is shit. Maybe it's time I write the CEO of Inspire Brands, share with them some pictures, and alert them to the poor service, quality and the performance of this store. This is getting stars only because the I love the shakes here, and sometimes with the app you can get a great deal. Almost every time I go to this location, I order ahead of time on the app so it'll be ready by the time I get there. And I still have to wait 15+ minutes, just to get a simple order of 2 shakes and a side.. keep in mind I ordered ahead of time. Even when I don't order ahead of time, and order there, they still take a long time. I would understand if it was really busy, but it will be almost empty, and still take 20 minutes or more to get a shake. One time, I just wanted an ocean water, so I go inside to order, thinking i would get it almost instantly after ordering... like most places when you order a simple fountain drink, but they gave me a number to put on a table, and I waited 5 minutes for a soda. It wasn't busy... Sonics is ok. The food isn't worth the price and maybe I wouldn't mind if the service was better, but I could probably go to Walmart, get frozen tatter tots and chilli, go home, and make myself some chilli cheese tatter tots before Sonics would be done making my order. read more

This place has got the worst service of any Sonic I have ever been too! The GM Jackie will get upset with the customer, even though it's her fault. I ordered lunch at 11:50am. At 12:36 pm I went inside to find out what was taking so long for my food. She then came back out to tell me she couldn't find my order. She asked how did I order, I then told her from stall 12 where I am parked the whole time. As Jackie was headed back into Sonic I then asked if everything had to be cooked, she turned and said you will need to wait I'll bring your food as soon as it's done. Saying that with complete attitude like it was my fault. 5 minutes later another young lady started to come out with my food. I told that young lady if Jackie can't bring me my food and apologize for the inconvenience, I want a refund. JACKIE the General Manager needs many hours of training. Cause as you can tell she will run this Sonic to the ground. Just look at the sub par score 1.9 before I added my one star. Zero star if I could read more

This must be the worst Sonics I've ever been to. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken was like rubber and tasted, oh wait, it had no flavor so it didn't taste like anything. This place should have been a foster freeze because the only good food at this Sonics is the ice cream, so if you want a good ice cream come here but if you want good food don't come here. Had a cheese burger combo, was not to impressed with the fries they were just ok. Loved the lemonade. The cheese burger was good could have used little more seasonning. So being that this place is relatively new to Beaumont my brother and I have given them a few chances. The problem is they keep messing orders up. The latest time they don't put a cheeseburger in the bag and my brother doesn't realize this until he got home. Calls them and tells them he doesn't want to come back at that moment but that he'll send me up there the next day because he'll be out of town for work. So I go up there and produce the receipt and the counter employee says just a second. Already acting suspicious. The manager (or at least what I assume was the manager) asks what's the situation? I tell him what happened and he's like okay. Do you know who you talked too? I'm like I didn't, it was my brother and I have no idea who he talked too. So he sighs, goes back and the worker there tells me to wait because they'll get the burger. Now, normally we wouldn't care. Mistakes happen but their burgers are 5$ and up. So it's hard to just not care when that mistake is made. And on top of that to come back and made to feel like I'm some sort of burger thief, it was total nonsense. I swear I thought they were going to refuse at one point. But the worker behind the counter walks the burger out to me and says "sorry for the misunderstanding" and it's like what misunderstanding? That you left food out of my order that I paid for? Where did I misunderstand something? Did my brother forget the secret "we won't forget your cheeseburger" handshake when he ordered the food? It took over 90 min and another customer coming into the store yelling at them to get a manager to even acknowledge us and finally get our food. After Sitting in the bay for over 30 minutes, I pushed the button to let them know I had been waiting 30 min. A girl comes on and says "oh yes I see that. We will get that out to you as soon as possible". Meanwhile cars are in and out of the drive thru in no time. 60 minutes into waiting I went into the restaurant to ask what's going on. They state they're understaffed yet the drive thru still seems to be doing fine. If I thought it would have helped I would have jumped I. There to get my order. Finally after 90 min of waiting I went in AGAIN only to be told they're working on it! It took another customer coming in yelling at them to get their crap together before a manager even acknowledged me. My food then magically appeared. I was given a refund but lost 2 hours of my life I'll never get back sooo. Thanks? I guess the lesson here is don't sit in the bay cause it's not the priority. In fact avoid this place all together. First time at a Sonic Burger. To start tables were dirty, order taker was very pleasant. Ordered 2 Sonic Burgers one with fries and Diet Coke, and one with onion rings and regular coke. So my wife wanted a cheesecake shake so against my better judgement I decided to drive on in, parked and pushed the button then placed on hold for 20 mins and never made my order, when I did see an employee bring out an order for another customer the customer then stated I want to add a shake to my order, the employee ignored us and went right inside and made this guys shake and brought it out rather then asking him to push the button and wait to order since his first order was already completed. It's a shame and no wonder why their lot and drive thru are mostly empty. While sitting there that 20 mins all we heard was loud bass music from a couple different cars so loud my wife and I had to roll up windows to be able to talk to each other. This place needs to get it together or shut down cause there is no way with all the 1 star reviews that they are making any money. If corporate reads these somebody needs to step in a do some good thorough management training and train the employees the same. We ended up driving off not ordering anything, anybody reading this would be better off going somewhere else as there are a plethora of places across the street and next door with better food better prices and better service. If it were possible to give zero stars or even negative stars I would. I got here and waited 35 minutes (not exaggerating) and NOBODY came to bring us our food even tho it said he was coming for about half the time. We had to press the button again to ask where our order was and they said it would right out. Did it come right out?! No. It did not. All I wanted was a Powerade slushee. Horrible experience. Waited in the drive through for over 40 mins with only 6-8 cars in line, both employees didn't seem to care or apologize. I ordered my food and paid and was given my food and drinks and the employee at the drive thru window almost forgot my shake and when I told her I had been in line for over 40 mins, she didn't seem to care or apologize and all she said was our freezer is broken and shut the window. Once i went to my food, it was all super cold and my shake was melted. What a waste of time and money. 40 mins for fast food that was cold. i have eaten at no less than 40+ different SONIC'S over the years. I traveled Interstate 40 many times from Ca to N. Carolina and stopped at many several times over. The one in Beaumont, Ca has issues. I ate there about 3 weeks ago and the food was less than warm and the drink had a off taste, I trashed to order.. Then today I felt like getting something sweet, what a mistake. I went inside waited several minutes to order, paid and sat waiting. While waiting I noticed the server bringing food to others in the dining area only to see it was the wrong order. This happened to 4 out of 5 tables waiting to eat. I also watched 2 people walk in from the drive thru who had been given the wrong items or missing items. After nearly fifteen minutes waiting for a Sundae I went to the counter and asked for refund, taking way tooooo long. I like the Sonics as I have eaten at many but this one better get there act together, at the rate they are going I don't give them more than 6 months to close.... Although the food was awful; I asked for avocado on my burger they gave me guacamole when they said that avocado was an option as well as guacamole, the cheese was cold and nasty! Too slow, I waited in the Drive thru for 20 min and then the drive thru speaker was off. Being the 1st time using the drive-thru I thought well maybe it's like In & Out where they come out to your car, but nothing. Well ok I will go the the parking lot and use the intercom there. Push the button and it says one moment please.... for several minutes. Fine let's just go in. The lady in front of me is asking about her order because she's been waiting for 40 minutes. The cashier asks what is her order she says a slushee, and hotdog. Seriously???? 40 minutes! Three cars on line at the drive in 20 minutes later for breakfast burrito and Texas toast with egg and bacon. Finally asked the employee was she cooking and taking orders? She replied she's taking orders one person cooking WOW Sunday morning. Now the best part tots were cold, bread was soggy of which you had to look for the egg. Burrito had a full sausage patty, I mean really!! I know the store manager could care less because he or she never responds to yelp comments! Corporate should be monitoring reviews after all their name is on it. When the first opened I told myself ok they are learning, well they didn't learn much about customer service. Go to farmer bros drive in across the way never disappoints breakfast same price and always great. A month later now gave it another try 0 stars horrible. Check your receipt they overcharge you. My first visit here was great and really smooth. The second visit, I tried to pay with their app, thinking it was a really cool way to pay and avoid those credit card scanners that can be on machines. The stall says is an option. Don't do it!! It's a trap. There is No cell service here, so it took twice as long for me to load the app up with money to pay as it did to actually make the food. Then, by that time, I finally got a sonic card loaded (because the app says it's the only way you can pay through the app is to transfer money into this virtual card and then pay with the virtual card), the stall timed out of our order and wouldn't even LET me pay with the app anymore. The employee I asked for help said the only way to pay at that point was with a debit or credit card. So I ended up paying twice as much money for my food. Now I have money trapped on a stupid virtual card it wouldn't let me use and they wouldn't even take. I'm so frustrated. :( read more
