If I could give zero stars, I would. I've been to this sonic AT LEAST 20 times. And EVERY SINGLE TIME they screw up something in my order!! EVERY TIME!! The wait has also gotten worse over time... I actually waited for 30 minutes for my food once before I finally just drove away because there were NO OTHER CARS so no reason for it to take so long! Went for a late dinner (9:30pm) on July 3 and service was poor....the burgers were NOT fresh. That is the first time I have ever been to a Sonic when the burgers were bad! We had to push the button 3 different times - the first time the person taking the orders only listened to the first item we wanted to order (we had 6 people in our car) the second button push we were able to place the rest of our order, the third button push was because we did not receive our complete order nor did the guy give us any straws. Easily the slowest service I have ever witnessed from any fast food establishment. From ordering to getting your food. If I could give zero stars I would. We even went when it wasn't busy, around 2pm. Maybe 7 cars total. We spent around 8-10 minutes waiting to take an order in the drive through in front of the microphone. Horrible customer service which is not typical of other Sonic restaurants. It all started when we asked if they cooked anything in peanut oil (we have a peanut allergy in the family). Over the speaker we heard a big sigh (clearly annoyed by the question) and she said let me check. After we cleared that up she had difficulty taking our order (seemed to be distracted). Good came out ok - usual sonic food. But the issue came when we ordered large drinks for everyone but they gave us a medium for one of them. When we asked to have it replaced with a large the waitress claimed we only ordered a medium yet the receipt clearly showed large. When she came to the car to check the receipt (annoyed yet again) she walked away saying something under her breath. No apology or anything. Just gave a look and turned and walked away. We went through the drive through for two drinks to be surprised there wasnt an actual window. There seemes to be a dedicated car hop and the speed was like a normal drive through. My wifes only conplaint was they done have the crushed ice, but it doesnt bother me. The car hop, Jessica was quick and very friendly. I don't know how fast food can be done wrong but this place manages to do just that. Fountain drinks there are terrible, sugar with the "sweet" tea would be nice. Maybe a little less syrup in the drinks as well. Oh and cheese tots, how about cheese on the whole meal instead of just 2. Burgers are lacking in flavor and are warm at best when served. Don't even both with cheese sticks or jalapeño poppers as the cheese will be hardened by the time you get them. This sonic is flat out awful. Everytime I get the regular tots they end up being horrible. They never have that fresh hotness to them. It's a popular side hopefully they fix this issue. I feel like I have to get the chilli cheese tots just for them to be somewhat hot. Please fix the regular tot issue because lately they are horrible. read more

Worst service I've ever had!! I've been to this sonic a couple of times and have always had a long wait (20+min) but this time was the last straw. I waited OVER 45 minutes for just a small shake and a chicken strip sandwich. It took over 25 minutes just to take my order and then the remainder of time for my food to be brought to me. I should've left much earlier quite frankly... When my food was finally brought to me my sandwich was cold (clearly the server's fault for not running it) and she didn't give me a straw for my shake. The server, named Bethany, then proceeded to give excuses about why it took so long and gave me attitude and rolled her eyes when I complained about the wait time. Sonic is a fast-food chain and I believe it should live up to it's status as "fast food". I'm a server myself, so I understand when a restaurant is busy; however, this was an issue of delegation and priorities of the server. read more

Extremely slow service. We have been three times and it was slow every time. We waited over five minutes for them to take our order outside. I asked if it was broken and they said we needed to wait because they were behind on orders. We finally left and went somewhere else. We went again and just ordered two drinks, and they took over 10 minutes to order. We pulled up and they took another 5 minutes before we just left, never getting our drinks. read more

They don't answer the speaker for 10 minutes cause they're either under employed or just lazy, so now your food hasn't even been cooking and you're guaranteed sitting for another atleast 10 minutes. First I will preface this by saying I am well aware that this is just a fast food place and definitely not any type of customer oriented establishment and for the most part you get what you pay for in quality. Everyone here is rude and unfriendly. You see the same people over and over there, I have a suspicion that there's only really like 4 people staffed there and they are all high school drop outs if not individuals with incredibly low ambition. Not sure it even deserves one star. Horrible service. I don't know if all Florida sonics operate this way, but you push the button and then wait 20 minutes for a car hop to come to your car to write down your order with pen and paper. This is not how it works at home..... There we use the speaker. After our order was finally taken, the car hop went to the next car and took their order before she ever took our order in to be prepared. Then the car beside us got their order first. Push the button...wait...10 minutes later, no answer...wait...after 16 minutes they finally take my order and...get it wrong. Fail. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I go again a few weeks later. Same 10 minute wait but this time I leave. A few weeks later I try the drive through...same experience. I don't know how they stay in business! Regardless of some of the other comments, the food and the service were both about as good as it gets at a place like this. They were not busy at all, especially considering it was shortly after 6pm. That might account for some of the niceness. The food was correct and tasted ok. I think this is the only Sonic I have ever been to where the parking lot was not full of gigantic potholes. read more
