Horrible service and not up to regulation does not care for customers should be fired

This place is filthy on the inside, the building can't be very old 7 years or less, yet the ceiling tiles in the dining area have been wet from some sort of either roof leak or condensation. The tiles now are sagging, and are full of either mildew or mold or both. The light lenses also have mold growing between the lamp and the lens. The moisture exposure must be continuous because the light fixtures themselves are rusting. The overall order of the dining area is musty. If this is the care that is taken in the guest areas, one can only imagine the kitchen. Manatee County Health Department should inspect this place read more

I have never been to this location and had my order correct on the first try. I don't know if they need to train their order takers or the people in the kitchen, but something has to change. Tonight I ordered two kids cheeseburgers, plain (no toppings). When I saw the order on the screen I verified with the order taker that I wanted they would have cheese on them and he responded "yes, plain means it will be meat, cheese, and bun only." I get home to find that they do NOT have cheese on them. I also ordered a route 44 unsweetened tea. I saw on the screen that it was not route 44. I corrected the order taker and was told he would fix it. Before I could see it, the total came up so I paid and waited. When the order came out it was a medium tea. I told the girl bringing it out it was supposed the be a route 44 and her response was "I just make what's on the screen" and walked away. I ordered a mini drink, they made the incorrect size. We are all human things like this happen sometimes. That is not my issue. Here's where I take issue.... The girl at the window told me they were going to dump my drink into the smaller cup size I ordered. When I asked her why she didn't just give me the drink and charge me the price for the smaller one I ordered.....she said she could give it to me if I paid the higher price of the mistake if not they're going to throw it out. Needless to say, I was not going to pay the higher price for something I did not order in the first place. I just got off the phone with the manager Danielle. I just wanted to let her know that as a customer it didn't make sense to me that you would rather throw something in the garbage and waste food then give it to a customer and provide good customer service? She informed me that they dump out their mistakes and weigh them so they can account for it. Call me old-fashioned ... Where has customer service gone... When a large chain resteraunt would rather leave a customer feeling that they're not worthy of your trash LOL. read more

We had a door dash order delivered tonight that had issues. Door dash said to reach out to the location for help. 15 calls and 35 minutes later, no one has answered the phone. Called corporate who told me to call door dash. Everyone pointing the finger to the next person. BUT it's ridiculous that no one can answer the phone at this location! read more

My burger was cold when I got it. The bun was a bit dry. It felt like all the parts of the burger were sitting around and then put together. It didn't taste freshly made like In-N-Out. The burger needed more sauces too. it was dry. I wouldn't go here again. I've been to better Sonics. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Burgers Near Me - Parrish, Florida

Visited the Sonic on hwy, 301 this evening, 10/29/2018. Attempted to eat inside, not curbside. I have experienced poor customer service before, but nothing as poor and discourteous as at this facility. When I arrived at the counter to order my food there was no one waiting on customers. I quickly learned what some of my friends shared with me. I waited about 10 minutes and no one even looked my way. I decided I was going to wait to see just how long it would take for even a glance my way. I was there waiting to order for 20 minutes and finally gave up and left. By the time I left several more customers were in line experiencing the same discourtesy and lack of interest in taking customer's orders. I observed others being angry and also leaving without being able to order. I have no idea who the "manager" was. You can usually observe the staff and fairly quickly know who is in charge. Don't know if there was a manager on duty but I couldn't tell. If there was a manager on the premises they should be fired for their lack of interest providing a pleasant experience for their customers. Myself and one of the people who walked out said they would not return nor would any member of their family. Word of mouth is a company's best form for advertising. Hopefully present and future customers will someday be able to enjoy food at this facility. However, staff as well as management will have to be trained to at least acknowlege their customers. read more

Don't eat at Sonic. Just moved to Parrish and was glad to see a Sonic. But after eating there once, will never go again. Service was slow and not the friendliest, which made us not really trust quality of food. Food was mediocre at best. Worst was the condition of restaurant eating area, it was really filthy and the staff who weren't especially busy made no attempt whatsoever to clean off tables. Every single table was dirty. Very disappointing since Parrish has so few places to eat. Now I know why there are two Publix's so close to each other (even though one is considered Ellenton). read more

I've worked in fast food plenty of years so i try to be understanding but this sonic sucks. Associates are always rude , the associate who took my drive through was mumbling and you could barely understand him.This particular location should be ran by cooperate. The girl who gave me my food didn't ask if we needed anything and literally handed us our food as slammed the window. read more

I ordered a blast and it was brought out pretty fast given that they were busy and it was better than I expected.

We went to Sonic last night and were pleasantly surprised. I see all the bad comments about Sonic on yelp, and we did not have any of those negative experiences at all. I would recommend it to anybody as the food was great the service was very friendly and competent. My grandchildren say it is their favorite fast food restaurant. David W. C. read more
