We were burying my uncle Johnny Campa, a World War II Veteran, at Riverside National Cemetery. After the ceremony, We were looking for a place to sit down and relax and eat. I Yelped and Sonora Grill came in as second. My Uncle, Korean War Veteran, wanted to have a beer. We were all hungry and had the delicious tacos. We also stayed long enough to enjoy the Happy Hour at 2 pm. $5 pints. What a deal! A family of 9 of us enjoyed a respite and had a great time! Hope this review brings it into First Llace! So guys, I am an avid hotdog lover, but the hotdog at Sonora Grill is next level, a foot-long of deliciousness and a bolillo roll full of grilled veggies and a bacon wrapped wiener. The employees are always friendly and I love the sports bar vibe .The burritos are bomb and their salsa is addictive so check out Sonora Grill. Don't sleep on it. read more

I may have came here with high expectations. But it was super expensive for all that we ordered. Nachos. Kids meals and drinks. $80+ Our carne asada tasted like hotdog. We assumed they cooked everything on the same skillet without cleaning it. We didn't order any hotdogs so I didn't enjoy my food. Probably won't be back. read more

OMG!!! must try place. The place is clean and the servers are very friendly. So surprise to find this place. Come hungry because they do have big servings. The el chapo butrito was deep fried with the bacon wrap on the outside. We picked the breakfast chorizo and eggs and yum yum yum. The silkiness of the egg with the fried tortilla and bacon is just heaven!!! Their Mexican pizza is fabulous, and I also love their Sonoran hot dogs. The staff give top notch service, and the atmosphere there is excellent. Keep looking if you don't see the restaurant at first. It's tucked away in a strip mall by an auto repair shop. read more

I finally got to try the Chili Rellano burrito I've seen for awhile on social media. I had great expectations an although it was good it didn't look nothing like the pictures I've seen online. The taste was also good but not great. The place did have a good vibe, looks like a nice spot to hangout an watch some sports while you eat. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. All simply from the attitude the guy working at the front has, specifically the clown with the beard working the front on Nov 1st @ 5:20pm who thinks he's working at a 5 Michelin star restaurant being rude to customers, within the time I stood there 3 other parties also left because of the way he treated customers and horrible attitude. read more

This place has some very tasty food and cold beers. Happened to be in Moreno Valley and yelp this spot out and let me tell you. The staff was great their suggestions and choices blew me away. The sonoran hot dog I believe blew me away I loved it so much with a cold modelo. Although I had a cold Coca Cola on the side everything was well presented prepared and clean. Minorly obsessed with this place!! The hubs and I made the trek out to the Pottery Barn and West Elm outlets and after hunting for deals, we were looking for a bite to eat. Thank you Yelp for helping us find Sonora Grill!! Super great place, with DELICIOUS tortillas, yummy food and great beer selection. Also, plenty of TVs around and they even have a TV set up for their outdoor dining section! We've tried the Mexican pizza (so yum!), Chile relleno burrito (also so yum) and chicken nachos. Everything has been really satisfying and delicious, everyone is super friendly and it's a great vibe to hang out and eat some good food. $1 fee for all credit card transactions. read more

Ordered El Chapo Burrito. Good sized burrito. Good service & atmosphere. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the portion of meat in the burrito. There should definitely be a bit more meat inside the burrito for $20. There should not be more rice & beans than meat in the burrito. Between a tire shop and a tattoo parlor one can find one of the true hidden gems in all the IE. The Sonora Grill stands out head and shoulders above the rest in a town that is literally flooded with Mexican restaurants. Came here for the first time on Friday and have to admit had a little difficulty finding the place but oh was it worth the wait. Got myself there specialty plate "the heartbreaker", (their take on the world famous Sonora Dog, multiplied by three) an enormous frank wrapped in bacon sitting between an array of condiments all between a giant a french style bread. My buddy ordered the carne asada nachos which are presented as the norm but with tons of flavor and all fresh ingredients. For the amount of food one gets here it would be easy to compromise on quality but "au contraire" everything made to order with a particular attention to detail that one would expect at any sit down $$$$ place. Did I mention they have a huge fridge stuffed with a very eclectic selection of beer and yes they have BULL FROGS!! A small menu with only hand crafted artisan items but for the adventurous there is a whole hidden menu so don't be afraid to ask. This is my 2nd review after three years of coming here. There are many gem food joints in California, but this has a unique combination of savory delicious and unique food, the very best amiable warm customer service, and insane variety of craft beer. The "Heartbreaker" dog screams genuine quality and know-how. The chicken tacos with home-made tortillas and salsa are the best in the inland empire. They have Mother Earth, Stone, Bear Republic, Modern Times, Hangar 24, and tens of other craft brews I cannot reasonably expect to find in the Inland Empire, let alone Moreno Valley. But the best part is the service. Rudy and Rosie are the friendliest. They make me want to hang out all the time. I feel like I am going to a buddy's house on a friday night every time I go. They help me discover new beers, and treat me like a family friend. I cannot recommend this place enough. I drive up from La Jolla every few weeks to say hi and catch up with them, drink a good craft beer, and have some quality food that is made with love. If Albertacos or Taco Bell is your joint, don't come. If you want quality food beer and service, this is your spot. read more

Our inaugural dining experience at Sonora Grill in Moreno Valley, CA, proved to be highly satisfactory. Having followed their Instagram account for an extended period, we were pleased to finally visit. The culinary offerings were exceptional. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, Ray, who also assisted with our order. He recommended the PB&J habanero wings, and while initially hesitant, we were provided with a complimentary sample. The wings were a revelation, proving to be a delightful and unexpected culinary experience. Our children thoroughly enjoyed their meals, specifically the chicken tenders with fries and the plain quesadilla, all of which were favorably reviewed. Ray informed us that all breads and tortillas are made in-house, with a dedicated bakery on-site. I opted for the California Burrito, and the quality of the tortilla was particularly noteworthy. Great hidden gem, we just moved to the area and we did a google search and this place popped up and decided to give it a try and it didn't disappoint! Upon arrival it looks like a small hole in the wall but when we entered it was bigger than it looked. Very spacious and nice ambiance with a bar area with a great selection of beers on tap. We ordered a tuna salad sandwich, crab jalapeño poppers, fries and surf and turf tacos, first off everything was good! I never had a tuna salad sandwich I'm so used to chicken so it was different but in a good way we ordered it on wheat bread. The fries reminded me of old school diner fries thick and crispy, the jalapeño poppers were wild lol never had crab stuffed poppers before but the sauce they serve it with is killer! Lastly the surf and turf tacos, massive tacos that were stacked with shrimp and asada guac sour cream and cheese! This place is very yummy.. The food is great and the owner operators are wonderful people. Id you are looking for a great hot dog, chicken soft tacos or even fish tacos (Fridays Only) this is the place you need to try. The Sonora Dogs or even the HeartBreaker are so good very flavorful and just a mixture of texture and flavor in your mouth.. Yum!!. If you are looking for something on the lighter side, they have a wonderful tuna sandwich that is just as flavorful. All of the bread and tortillas are hand made, the hotdog and hamburger buns I could eat just by themselves they are so soft and buttery. The tortillas are wonderful, I have never had a tortilla that soft and it not break while eating a taco. I honestly can say I have not had a bad thing on the menu. and that is hard to say for any restaurant !! My friends took me here for my party kickoff dinner and we destroyed the food. It was absolutely delicious. We started off with a nice bottle of Mezcal and picked out our cigars before our feast for 6 guys: Bone Marrow Tacos (1 order = 8ea) Prime Cowboy Steak 1Kg Porterhouse Fries (comes with meal) Mushrooms (with meal) Onion Pearls (with meal) Bean Dip Mezcal!!!! I've been staying here 5 days in Moreno Valley for medical visits. We are visited this restaurant 7 times including breakfast and always they are very welcoming. The manager was so polite and friendly and took care of every customer. They have all staff are attentive, smart, kid-friendly and careful. First-day entry made me a big fan of it. I don't think I have to talk about their food quality which is above and beyond. Such a delicious food they are serving and quality of fresh. This place is just wonderful and the atmosphere is cool. I've been coming to this place for over 4 years, and it never disappoints! Hands down, they have the best carne asada tacos, burritos, and fries I've ever had. The meat is always perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the portions are super generous. The flavors are authentic, fresh, and downright addicting. While trying to stay awake cruising east on the 10, I was overwhelmed with a sense of urgency.. if I didn't get a chance to eat soon I would fall asleep... I dropped off the 10 in Moreno Valley and fell upon the perfect restaurant... The Sonoran Grill offering some of the most delicious Sonoran Hot Dogs you could want. The buns were fresh and soft with all the flavors of my home in Tucson, Az. It was a little taste of heaven to refresh my weary body for another 6 hours of driving. I love this place. Great unique food with recipes and styles that I havent seen before. The Bacon Wrapped burrito is my favorite, besides the Chicken Fries. If you go there you have to try their house hot sauce. Otherwise, very clean and friendly enviornment. Its my go to spot when I want a new craft beer. Not only does this place have amazing Sonora dogs around but they are one of the only places in Moreno Valley with a wide selection of beers. If you follow them on Facebook or Instagram you will get the scoop on specials that are never on the menu. (Best chicken teriyaki burrito I've ever eaten) and the most friendly staff around. The small family-owned restaurant in a lazy strip mall in Moreno Valley provided some of the most amazing Mexican food in Southern California. We visited midday on Sunday and the place was only about a third full, with plenty of indoor seating in booths and tables. You order at the counter and the friendly young woman guides you through the menu prominently featured on the wall. So many different options. For our group, we went with the King Burrito, the Carne Asada Torta and the Beef Taco and Enchilada Plate. Within 10 minutes, the nice young woman who took our order, came by with our drinks and shortly thereafter, our orders. The King Burrito I order was HUGE. Covered with an amazingly delicious salsa verde (mole or dry options also available), this 10-plus inch burrito was packed with Shrimp, Carne Asada, Home Potatoes, Mexican Guacamole, Chipotle Sauce & Cheese. Also came with a side of Sour Cream. Seriously, one of the best tasting burritos I have experienced, there is so much flavor with the surf and turf combination, that will make your tastebuds delight, and feel a little bit of heat in the process. My girlfriend's Carne Asada Torta was also delicious. She let me have a few bites and the meat was seasoned and cooked to perfection, just like it was in my King Burrito. The sandwich was also quite large had plenty of stacked ingredients to offer. Overall, the quality and portions of the food here at Los Reyes are amazing. You get tons of value and huge portions to boot. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant (and restrooms) and clean and welcoming. Plenty of parking in front, with lots of space inside. When I tried to use the free item, I was passed around from one employee to another and then to the manager, then to the owner. Absolute nonsense, after 15 minutes on the phone, they still refused that they knew anything about it. I will never be going back again just purely on the fact that they did not honor what was told to me. Very disappointed. 5 years I've frequented this place but I will never be recommending this to lace to anyone ever again.

Considering it's a digital menu, I don't see how that is a valid reason. It was disappointing to say the least. You could argue that's only a dollar on my end, but I could make the same argument that say it's only a dollar on their end to honor the price that they advertised. Tacos were still delicious, but advertising the wrong price should not be at a customer to pay. Needless to say, I wouldn't support a business again that doesn't have honorable practices.
