Decent Schwarma in an unassuming plaza. First off, this plaza is very much your working class locale. It's not pretty, but it's close to the highway. It's very easy to look at this place and be a little put off because of the location. I came here to try them out cause my plan A option fell through. There was two men working, and a group of 6 people waiting on food. They had no physical menus and the tvs that were stationed above the register were off. There were blank QR codes next to the register, which are their digital menus. None of this was explained, it had to be interpreted. I wanted to try their shish tawouq, which was the closest thing to the picture on the menu. Was told it would take 30 minutes to prepare. Taking the hint, I instead opted for the chicken Schwarma. Took about 15 minutes to get my order. Took pics and dug in. The chicken was cooked and juicy. There wasn't very much spice or seasoning on the chicken. This could be partly due to the fact that the garlic sauce was broken and also very overpowering. I love garlic, but can understand how some people might not like that much garlic in their food. For the cash, it's not horrible but it's also not much food either. It's the type of meal that's perfectly fine for a quick lunch, especially if you go for their fried fare. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The weird part is the space is very much decked out to be a fancier place than it is. They got nice chairs, a well decorated space, and lots of class.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But then they use tissue boxes for napkins, and have loads of drinks and coolers in the dining area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm not sure if they have given up or just don't know how to present themselves. But based on the food I got, it's not bad but it's not good either. It's an option if you want lunch, but it's a mixed bag

SOS fried chicken was recommended by a friend, so I tried the chicken tenders, which are HUGE. The fries are just seasoned crinkle fries. You'll have to wait a few mins while your chicken is cooked to order -- which means it's served hot and fresh. The chicken was VERY moist and the breading was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is some seating, but it seems like more of a takeout place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm interested in going back to try the Mediterranean menu items like shawarma. So many options! The guys there were nice too.

15 minute wait for an expensive, soggy and greasy 12-inch teriyaki chicken grinder. Absolutely gross.

We had our college kids home for the summer. It was late and we decided we wanted to order pizza…read more Called the usual place in town that I order from. They were closed as were most other local pizza delivery restaurants. Saw online that Husky's was opened. Ordered the French Fry Pizza, Taco Pizza and Works Pizza. Price was very reasonable. Delivery was quick. Pizzas were piping hot. They were absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and hot. Delivery man was polite and professional. I have had times where I ordered pizza from a different local place and the pizza arrives almost dried, only warm and the chips on the taco pizza are soggy. Not here. Everyone was commenting how delicious, hot and fresh the pizzas were. I have driven by the place tons of times and never paid it much attention. I only ordered from there because we all wanted pizza and other places I was familiar with were closed. From now on, this is where I'm ordering from. I see they serve tons of other items besides pizza and I'm looking forward to trying other items. We had an outstanding experience with the 3 pizzas we ordered. I would highly recommend this place!

The sauce actually has flavor (not that bland, watered-down stuff), and they don't cheap out on toppings either. Service is just as good as the food--super friendly people who get your order right and don't make you wait forever. Whether you're grabbing a quick slice or ordering a whole pie, it's always consistent. If you're anywhere near Manchester and want legit pizza, this is 100% the spot. Easily one of my go-to places now

Service was very friendly, prices a little high, but bbq is crazy these days so you kind of expect it. Tried the three meat plate, with a side of bbq beans and cornbread. Ribs: tender, not fall off the bone but great rub! Brisket: rather dry but I wouldn't throw it away Corn bread: dry and did throw away Baked beans: delicious!! Great little spicy flavor. Hot links: my favorite part of this dish! Wasn't a standard flavor, not too spicy, and had a great snap to it. Overall, decent experience, nothing to write home about. Very limited seating, stools only. Come hungry, good size portions.

Place is smallish, but there's a counter with a few stools if you want to eat inside. Service was very friendly & efficient. Brisket was good -- tender and moist. Nice bark too. Ribs had a smokey flavor, I liked the rub they used. But a few were borderline tough. Collards were excellent. Overall, this is decent "northern Q", I would definitely come back again if I'm in the area. Thomas' Smokey Pit Stop BBQ is a solid 4 Star rating, IMO, and that's coming from a guy who consumed a lot of Q in northern Alabama when he lived down there.

Tried again, not bad but not great…read more It's been a while since I tried this place. Decided to come by during a random weekend lunch to give their food another try. Server was friendly and very casual. I asked for her recommendation and was told their grilled chicken sandwich was pretty good. Strange given they use to be really proud in their bbq, but trusted the server and got the west coast chicken sandwich and swapped the bun for a lettuce wrap. Also got the tumbleweeds with a side of spicy aoli to dip in. The food came out after a little bit of a wait, but not too long. Took pics and dug in. The tumbleweeds were cooked well but really lacked in any flavor beyond crispy breading. It really needed a dipping sauce to give it any real flavor. The spicy aoli had a little zip to it and helped though. The chicken was seasoned well but overcooked. The Swiss cheese didn't really add much so I scraped it off. Bacon wasn't crispy, was welded to the Swiss cheese so I just scraped it off with the cheese. The heirloom tomatoes and pickled red onions were very good. Lightly salted and sweet tomatoes and briny sweet onions really complimented the chicken and were welcome additions. Avocado was okay, fresh and presented well. The food wasn't bad, but it did have some stumbles. It's a great venue space, one of the few country bars in the state and is decked out well to be the primo spot for county. It's not a great restaurant, but it's serviceable food and a nice staff. If it can really sell the events and nail those, then the food can be simpler and still do well. For now though, it's okay.
