omg yum! I've been seeing this place all over instagram for a while and have had it saved and so glad I finally tried it for lunch! In a quiet unassuming plaza, I wasn't sure I was at the right place at first. The fries are hand made and such a big and deliciously fresh portion! Love how they are served in a Chinese take out box. The burger was smashinnnn! Omg the flavor was unreal! I will be back. SOOOON
Came back recently during lunch and the burgers are still bomb and consistent. Still worth the price too. It was pretty busy that day, but we were able to get a seat. This time I got their California Burger which is basically a burger with lettuce, tomatoes, and onion. My friend got their OG smash burger with fries and also beef bibimbap. Will come back again. Just wished it was closer to HB.
Amazing. 10/10 I love a good smash burger and this one is GOOD. Made to order and totally worth the wait even when it's busy. Not dry whatsoever and still has the right amount of juiciness to it for being smashed. Fries were fried perfectly, were plentiful, and I love that it's in a Chinese takeout box, super cute. Limited amounting of seating but love that they have a bunch of stools/chairs off to the side so that you can grab from. Can totally see why this place is popular, even saw a lot of people in various work uniforms having lunch here. Very unassuming lil plaza, but these hole in the wall hidden gems are always my fave places to get food at :)
Lunch with a bang! This place is tucked into a discreet plaza surrounded by mechanic shops in an industrial area. We came around 1 pm on a Thursday and it was poppin'. Every table was taken and people were waiting off to the side for their orders. We also had to wait a few minutes just to order at the counter. It is very casual, with mismatched stools and chairs, but it fits the aesthetic. We were lucky to grab a table, but the wait for food was pretty long being over 40 minutes. It seemed like we hit the peak lunch rush because the crowd started to clear out by the time our order was called. I ordered the OK smash burger with fries. Wow, it was delicious! The bun was soft and fresh, and the creamy secret sauce balanced out the richness without feeling heavy. The meat tasted high quality. The patty had a great crust on the outside while still being juicy, and it was not too thin. It was a good contrast to the sweet grilled onions and pickles inside. We shared an order of fries, which were light and crisp. A tad salty. They came in a Chinese takeout box, which was a nice touch. They reminded me of Five Guys fries but with a better texture and flavor. I really enjoyed my lunch and would come back. Next time I would probably go later in the afternoon (after 2:30pm) to avoid the lunch rush.
BEST SMASH BURGER AROUND! If you know me I do not like smash burgers, to thin, not juicy just a disgrace to burgers. NOT HERE!! JUICY, CRISPY, INCREDIBLE!! It was so good, got the OK burger and it had cheese, pickles, grilled onions and special sauce, it was just perfect so juicy so amazing. Let's talk the fries! AMAZING, fresh made salty crispy fresh I mean tasted like a boardwalk fry from the east coast. Game changer! It's a small inside and the lunch rush took about 15 minutes to get our order but came out hot and traveled well. COME AND ENJOY!
This is my first time here so I gave it four stars just because I haven't tried the whole menu yet. The place is small and simple. I ordered the OK burger with fries and a drink. It was pretty good. I'll be back to try more, but I thought the burger was a little bit greasy. I'm not sure if that was grease or just cheesy.. I did eat the whole thing so it was good. We'll definitely be back.

My GF and I found out about Lunch Bang on Tiktok, as we do most of our eats, did a quick check on yelp, and decided to stop by right around 11:45 on a Saturday morning. This spot is your definition of a whole in the wall joint. Their menu is very simple and small, 3 smash burger options, single or double, 3 Korean dishes and fries. We got their Backyard Burger and California burger and 2 sets of fries. My goodness, it was delicious. It was smashed to perfection. Their fries are so good too! The best part about this place is that it is very affordable, actually, more affordable than any other burger joint or fast food joint, and you get a good sized burger and a lot of fries. They have a few assorted canned drinks in which I picked out Cactus Cooler! My gosh, I haven't had that since I was in high school! The place is a bit run down, but I think it fits the vibe of the "whole in the wall" joint. There are only a few tables, but it's definitely a meal you can easily quickly or just outside or in your car. There is plenty of parking. Based on the Tiktok and yelp, I think this place will soon be more and more crowded so definitely come early! By the time we finished around 1, the place was starting to fill up. Their hours are specific too, only from 10am to 3 pm! I wish this place was open at night as this would be a frequent place to eat at night, but keeping those 11-3 hours makes this place unique and keeps the hype up. We 100% will be coming back. absolutely life changing. My friend and I came in around 12:30 on Monday and there were a few people eating in the restaurant but we got our food within 10 minutes. All the hype surrounding this place is so well deserved. We got the OK burger as a double, the backyard burger as a single, and fries oh my gosh the first bite was worth driving through the rain for. Not only are the prices unbeatable, the buns were so soft, patty had a crispy lattice, and there was so much flavor. I will 100% be back and bring more friends. No complaints here! Super solid smash burger. I tried the single which has the best crispiest edges engulfed in a sea of thinly sliced onions. FLAVOR! Bun is soft and fries hold up well. Second "visit" was take out - - the California smash. Again, FLAVOR! This included lettuce, tomato, pickle slices, and a nice spread sauce. Honestly can't go wrong with either. Moving forward I guess I'll have to order one of each?
Ordered some fries and the California burger. It was so tasty. The meat patty was crispy but did not lack moisture. The fries were salty the way I like it. Don't expect customer service that overcompensates for the food. They know they got delicious food. So put your order in, sit on the bench in the back, and grab your food when your numbers called. I'll be back.
My biggest pregnancy craving has been burgers, especially smash burgers, and this place did not disappoint. I stopped by on a Saturday for lunch and there was ample parking in this business center. There was a small amount of seating inside, maybe 4 tables. Got the double patty backyard burger, California burger, and two fries (definitely could have just ordered one). Our food came out promptly and it looked so good! My toddler son and I loved the backyard burger. The buns were soft and the meat had nice flavor with a touch of crispness to it -- the perfect smash burger. The fries were freshly hand cut and fried to perfection. Great smash burgers for an affordable price!
Picked up a burger and fries for lunch and it was really delicious. The smashed burger was juicy and full of flavor. I especially loved the grilled onions, thousand island sauce, and the crispy edges on the patty. The fries were super fresh, light, and airy. Definitely hit the spot for a quick lunch.

A very limited menu with 3 burgers and 3 Korean rice bowls! Definitely recommend their smash burgers! It's quite possibly one of the best I have had! The three burgers have very subtitle differences! The backyard burger and OK burgers only difference is the ketchup and mustard and the diced onions or grilled onions. I recommend the double smash California burger! It comes with lettuce and tomatoes! Burgers were just so flavorful and the buns were soft and a little milk bun like. read more

I had a bulgogi bibimbap and it was amazing! The bulgogi was well seasoned and paired well with the garnish. The bowl comes with some spicy pickles, veggies, and I added a side of kimchi which is perfection! The space is casual and clean. You order and pay at the counter. Tried the infamous LB smash burger--"OK" is an understatement. Very, very good. Thin patties with crispy edges, solid flavor, soft bun. Exactly what you want from a smash burger. The fries deserve a callout: great, fresh, lightly oiled, and crisp. They come in an old-school Chinese takeout box, which actually works perfectly if you don't finish them--and it totally fools my family when they think they're stealing my leftovers. This is a true mom-and-pop operation. Finding it is part of the experience: a small sign that just says "Sandwiches & Oriental Food" above the address, plus some temporary-looking lettering in the window. So... we still say "oriental" (grandma word). lol Minimalism at its extreme. Zero atmosphere. Old industrial spot tucked behind a weed shop, bare walls, unpainted, exposed ceiling vents, a few mismatched tables and chairs tossed in. Inside it's just four or five people behind the counter cranking out good-tasting food. It was packed when I went--standing room only, hovering for a seat--but no one seemed to mind. The food carries the place. If you're coming for vibes, keep driving. If you're coming for a really good smash burger, this place delivers. read more
Smash burger 5 stars!!! I never like to hype up a place but every single bite was slightly salty greasy perfection. OK burger is OUTSTANDING! Loads of thinly sliced grilled onions on top of thin cheesy crispy edged patty with a few decorative pickles in a fresh warm pillowy bun. Oh I can't forget about the sauce on the burger. It is similar to Thousand Island but a thousand times better. In my humble opinion this is exactly what a smash burger should be! Thanks for a delicious lunch! read more
Perfect! Sampler outfit and the focus is purely on the food. We decided not yo share the smashburger which was a good decision. They are not huge but make up with lots of flavor inside a simple bun. Yum. Fries are equally tasty, have them extra crispy and then they are worth every bite. Simple menu like In-N-Out but these burgers are so much better. Service, efficient, helpful, quick but no fluff. Lastly, as mentioned, the place is super simple which is actually a great feature for the area... refreshing in Orange County. Plenty of room to sit but I'd advise to come early to avoid the lunch crowds. 10/10. read more

Wow... my new fav burger for the moment.. i'm so pleasantly surprised.. I got the California burger which is so bomb and ideal if you love that classic backyard bbq burger flavor with a smashed burger twist. Soooo good. Not too greasy and the sauce is just the perfect touch. The double smashed is definitely the classic smashed burger flavor. Not as greasy as some other places but still good and even though we had ours delivered the patty edges were still crispy! Now the fries!! I was very surprised by how good they are. Didn't expect them to be this good but they are. Get them!!! Will def be coming back often. read more
Lunch Bang makes what smash burgers should be. Crispy, super thin, and overall an addicting burger. I got the backyard burger and the sauces made it taste like a McDonald's burger so it's definitely worth the extra $1 to get the OK Burger. The onions and the sauce take it to the next level, and I don't think I'd do the backyard burger again. The patties are crisp and thin, so getting a double would be perfect. I would go here everyday if I could! So yums. Easily one of my favorite smash burger spots. The burgers are super flavorful without it being too heavy. Just cooked perfectly to me! The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The spam musubi was okay, it was a bit dry. I'm glad I discovered this lunch option nearby. This small shop is located amongst other small businesses. Parking is not that abundant, but many people come and go quickly in this area. When we arrived in the middle of the lunch hour on a weekday, there were maybe one or two people in front of us before we were able to place our order. Since it was my first time, I wanted to try a burger and their rice beef bowl. The bowl also comes with an egg and prepared per your request. The menu was short and sweet. The dining area is small with maybe five tables. The customers appeared to be a combination of people who work nearby who dined in or came to pick up takeout orders. and also friends and family that dined in. We took our order to go and I had to try the fries while in the car. They didn't seem like frozen fries, but hopefully fresh and they're the kind with the peel on. They were generously salted, which wasn't bad. As for the burger, the patty was crispy on the outside and well seasoned and juicy. We all enjoyed the burgers that we ordered. For the beef bulgogi bowl, all of the ingredients were simple, including a few pieces of sliced spicy pickled cucumbers. My favorite today was definitely the Smashburger and we definitely will return. read more

Best smash burger in town, hands down. You wouldn't believe it from the store front, or inside facade either, but it's a diamond in the rough. Don't mind the unpainted walls, sketchy, unkept look, because they don't need to be flashy when they focus on quality, delicious burgers. Haven't tried their Korean dishes but I'm sure it will be a "smash" hit. Staff was helpful and friendly. read more
Simple, efficient and affordable, Lunch Bang executes fantastically when it comes to a Smashburger. The prepping process is on display with fresh meat being smashed on the grill and crisp toppings placed on. They don't need fancy boxes or special wrapping paper around the burger. Lunch Bang is a true hole in the wall. It has a small menu, a small parking lot, but is BIG on flavor. The California burger is the best smash burger I've had in Orange County. The flavor is amazing. The fries were great too; my husband and I were able to share one order of fries, and there was more than enough for both of us. The prices are extremely fair too. If you are going during lunch time, expect to wait a bit - this place gets busy! If you can order ahead of time, definitely do that. read more

This place rocks! The owner is a chess fanatic and streams love chess. There are chessboards available too. The pièce de résistance are the smash burgers. We ordered the backyard burger and OK burger which was supplemented with fries and the bulgogi bibimbap topped with an egg. The cucumber kimchi adds a lot of freshness and crunch. read more

Been here several times now. This place is literally the definition of a whole in the wall in the best way possible. They have a great smash burger but do not sleep on the Korean food! I get the bulgogi bowl with spicy pickles and kimchi on the side. Just had an incredible lunch while at my desk at work and now I'm writing this review. I hope my boss doesn't use Yelp.. read more
My coworker actually introduced me to this place and honestly the food was sooo good and I would definitely go back again! It's forsure a hidden gem! Very delicious and simple menu. The food tastes homemade in the best way. We ordered a meat bun and cheese smash burger along with a Cali burger, and both were easy to finish. The shredded lettuce and crispy burger edges were perfect. We ate these onsite! The interior is clean and minimal, with a drink fridge that actually made me walk over just to check out the options. We also ordered a bulgogi bibimbap to go, which ended up being the favorite meal that we ordered even after a 20 min drive home. Definitely worth getting. Lunch at Lunch Bang is bangin'. I'm not just saying that to be punny :). Discretely hidden in plain sight in a complex along Grand Avenue, inside a smaller dining space, you get two primary choices - rice bowls or burgers. And both deliver. For the burgers, you've got perfectly laced, razor thin smash burgers oozing with flavor. The OK Burger was simple but delicious with grilled onions, sauce, pickles and cheese. And the California Burger, swapping grilled for diced onions and adding lettuce and tomato was heartier with added texture and also a smash hit :) at the table. The bulgogi bimbimbap was also very simple - lettuce, minced bulgogi style ground beef, egg, and spicy pickled cucumber. And yet, the fragant flavors of sesame oil and mild pepper along with perfectly cooked rice made my taste buds dance. Another banger. And of course, the fries. These long, medium thick, freshly fried and perfectly salted beauties was yet another highlight. Don't forget to try their secret sauce, which was fantastic. A mom and pop shop, Doug and his parents work as a family to serve us perfected American classics alongside addictive Korean bites, and it all works so well. Even better that you get to support such a sweet family. Lunch Bang is the kind of place that reminds you that a focused, menu with a mission can be a very special experience. I love burgers so when I heard there was a place in the OC that been getting some hype over their smash burger. I had to make my way over. First off, Lunch Bang is located in a more industrial location. Follow your GPS, it is taking you to the right location. There are parking spots right up front. I arrived at 10 AM when they open! I ordered a couple of items, I got two burgers, the okay burger and the California burger, fries, and a bulgogi bowl. You can order your burgers in single or double patties. There might be a wait. I did see that they were taking phone orders so that might make the wait longer. I thought the burger was really good. I liked the bun the burger came on. It was nice and soft. I thought the burger was overly sauced. I'm not sure if its the way it is or just the day I went. The meat patty was cooked and season well. I like that it wasn't wildly smash. The bulgogi bowl was filled with meat. It was more meat than rice ratio. The bulgogi was more on the fatty side so I wish there was more rice to counter it. However, I do appreciate that they gave more meat. The fries were a mixture of soft and crispy pieces. I love that they load it in a to-go box. Overall, come try this great spot to get a great burger or some Korean food. read more
An unexpected Korean mom and pop hidden gem serving up amazing smash burgers! The staff is super friendly and funny. I asked if the kitchen was still open fully expecting them to turn us away since we arrived 10 minutes to closing. They were really kind and still accepted our take out order! The menu is simple with 3 classic burger options, teriyaki bowls, and condiments/sides. 5/5 - Single smash burgers, doesn't get any better than this.
