Wow! I was craving a Subway sandwich, and came on to yelp to see who had the best reviews. I can see why this location got the highest rating! I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and both staff members were super friendly. The woman who prepared my sandwich ensured that my extra toppings request were met, and she went above and beyond by wrapping my foot-long into two 6 inch sandwiches. Convenient location off main busy road and near other shops (right next door to a coffee shop). Store is not large, but does have indoor seating and a restroom. Very clear inside with current signage. Got a Tuna Wrap for my daughter mid-day. Staff was on point and helpful. Three people in and they clearly work well together in the shared space. While the food and the service at this location are usually spot on, and I would even go so far as to say multiple levels above what you will find at any other subway in the city; however, if you happen to go to this subway location on a day when the elderly manager who goes by the name of joy is working, you may experience horrible customer service, and outright disrespect. She seems to want to defend moldy avocados until someone lets her force them to put it on their sandwich. If you ask for a new avocado beforehand, she will respond with a snide remark and put the moldy ones on your sandwich regardless. Then she will still battle you when you tell her to put a new avocado on there or you won't pay with facetious remarks like I don't see black dots simply because she forgot her glasses. I never expected to see this level of horrible customer service from this location. I need to be clear every other employee who works at this location has always been spot on with their customer service. It is evident that the employee working with this manager should hold the managerial position. read more

So I'm conflicted in learning review. This is the best subway in my opinion in South Sacramento area. Or at least it was. The foods always good and the staff also. But today for lunch I remembered I got a buy one get one half off sandwich deal on my subway app. Well long story short that app wasn't working for me or I wasn't doing something right so I walked in and asked of I could use the coupon. I was told no it was online only and that this store didn't participate with the app! Well I'm confused if the app is useless at the store close to me whats it good for then. I was enjoying my sandwich until I noticed the meat sticking out of the end of my sandwich looked pale and almost grey. I opened it up and it was clear the meat was bad. Half of the meat was pink and half of it was grey and they clearly saw the meat when they put it on my sandwich and still decided to serve it to somebody instead of just throwing it out. I'm seriously disturbed and won't be returning again. I'm a previous Subway worker from a very high-volume, fast-paced store, and am always over critical of this chain. It really is a pretty easy place to work, and there should never be an excuse for bad quality. Every time I have come in the employees have engaged me in conversation and been very pleasant! Great attitude, always with a smile on their face. I've come in on several occasions while they are cleaning behind the counter, which is no often enough seen and always appreciated. The only reason I don't give them that extra star is that more than once the "recipe" for my sandwich was incorrect. Not that they were short-changing me, they just obviously didn't know the correct proportions or ratios. But otherwise one of the best I've seen around town! read more

Like any Subway, the food is good and cheap. I like how it is really close to work so if I am starving like I was I can go here. The only thing I don't like is the parking lot. There is a bunch of parking in the back but I don't feel safe parking my car there. The only safe spots are in the front and even there I don't feel safe backing up out of the spot. read more
