    Tofu yakisoba
    Aimee L.

Gross. Coworkers stopped here after two failed attempts elsewhere and brought me the tofu yakisoba. You can see what I mean below but they just dropped five big chunks of fried tofu on top that are too tough to get through with a steel fork. I ended chomping on those using my fingers. The noodles stick together so either they knew the tofu wouldn't be able to penetrate and distribute in any smaller format or they nefariously serve this dish knowing full well the only parts worth eating are on top for easy access. I picked any of the few vegetables I found in the noodles because whatever sauce they cook them in tastes off. Not spoiled but just ew. I ended up tossing all the noodles after extracting anything resembling something like nutrients in it. My coworker who's less picky ate enough of his teriyaki to ward off hunger and flung the remains in the trash next to mine. I hate wasting food so it has to be pretty bad to commit such a criminal act.

We've been enjoying this Soy Grill for at least 3 years. This evening when I stopped by for our takeout order I was waiting with a rare sunny day. I noticed how dirty the chairs were, and when I say dirty I mean layers dirt! I thought I'd mention it when I grabbed my order, and I did. The cashier said I know!! Now I question what the kitchen looks like!? Do I have to drive down to the Sunnyside location now?

We went to Home Depot one day and I said: "Hey, I saw a Teriyaki place in the strip mall over there, let's try it" (This isn't like me, I usually look at reviews before I go). It's in a strip mall and it's not all that inviting looking either outside or inside. But I love Teriyaki, though, so I was hopeful. Once inside we grabbed a table, I placed the order and the cheerful young woman brought our order to our table. (2 Classic Chicken Teriyakis). I've since read reviews here, so allow me to just join the chorus! Big portions, very fresh, love it completely. Who needs "atmosphere"? We've been back several times and I *want* to try a new dish, but the Classic Chicken Teriyaki is exactly what I love! How will I ever be able to try a new different dish when they keep making the Teriyaki so perfectly??

Hidden gem! Popped in on a whim. All in my party got the yakisoba--beef for two, chicken for one. Fast, freshly made, delicious! Super friendly service. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is that it's on the more expensive side and the atmosphere isn't great (definitely more of a takeout joint), but the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff make up for that.

This little spot is amazing for a fast dinner or lunch! On top of that, the owner is super nice as well! Our go to item is their spicy chicken, japjae(personally we get it without the rice on the bottom) their gyoza is super crispy! You have to try it!

The person who takes the order at the cash register is super rude. Keep in mind I'm a nice person, I work in retail and I know how a customer service looks like. I'm not a demanding person I just had trouble ordering my food. She didn't greet or smile and rolled her eyes as I was telling her my order. I get nervous when people act that way. I just didn't say it in the right order and she didn't put effort to help me out. I proceeded to ask her if they have sprite or seven up. She said we only have what's in our fridge. The fridge was behind her and was a little covered. So I asked her again if they have sprite, she again said we only have what is in our fridge. I love soy grill teriyaki and I've been dining here for years! At this location and at the Clackamas location and their food is amazing. But I was really upset with this encounter.

Love the noodles with the spicy chicken. The bibimbop is good too. Can't really go wrong with any of it honestly. Service is great too.

This was easily the standout dish and the reason I would come back. Veggie Roll (5/5) Good portions with thick avocado and a solid mix of sesame, carrots, and cucumber. Fresh, clean flavors and very satisfying for a simple roll. Smoked Salmon (5/5) Good, thick pieces with nice smoky flavor. Fresh and well prepared. Overall, the food was consistent and high quality across everything we ordered. Service (4/5): Good overall, though it felt like there was only one hostess working during the rush hour. Because of that, things moved a bit slower than expected, but the staff was still polite and helpful. Ambiance (3/5): There are tables in the main dining area, bar seating, and more tables in the back. It works well for groups and families, but I would recommend making a reservation during busy hours. Parking is the biggest challenge. It is very tight and limited, especially when the restaurant is busy, which adds some stress before you even walk in. Great food and worth the visit, just plan ahead for parking and wait time.

Mango was out of season for the Kango roll, so our waitress offered avocado as a substitute and the roll was just as delicious. We ordered a lot of food, and had so much to take home for the next day. It was a lovely experience this time around. Im glad that both the service and food here is amazing. I'll be back for more!

At first glance, the location can feel a little sketchy, but don't let that fool you. We started with the chicken momos, veggie momos, and bhel, and also shared a thukpa. We had originally planned to order the mutton thali as well, but we were so full by then that we decided to save it for another visit. The owner and staff were incredibly personable and took the time to chat with us about the restaurant and the dishes, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming. The food overall was fresh and flavorful. The gravy with the chicken momos was especially delicious. I personally didn't enjoy the veggie dumplings very much, and the thukpa felt just okay to me. Still, our friends spoke very highly of several other dishes, so I do think this is a place worth revisiting. I'm hoping to come back and end up just as enamored with it as many of the other reviewers seem to be.

The vegetables were perfectly crispy, and the coolness of the roll made it quite satisfying. The rice, however, was a little drier than I would have liked, which slightly impacted the overall experience. Salmon Avocado Roll (4/5) - A generous portion of creamy avocado paired with decent-quality salmon made for a nice bite. While tasty, the rice was again a bit drier than expected, and the roll felt like it was a step above typical supermarket offerings. Miso Soup (2/5) - Unfortunately, the miso soup felt rather watered down and lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for, making it a bit underwhelming. Cucumber Salad (3/5) - A solid dish, though it had a more pronounced sourness than I anticipated. It was still refreshing but could benefit from a more balanced flavor profile. Service (4/5) - The service was very attentive and accommodating, which definitely added to the overall positive experience. Ambiance (Not Rated) - The restaurant has around 6-7 tables, creating an intimate setting that would be perfect for a small lunch date. Overall, a good experience with room for improvement, especially in the rice and soup, but the excellent service and cozy ambiance made it enjoyable.
