I stumbled upon Spa Del Rio while trying to find a local spa in Laguna for a girls day we were planning. From the moment I called to inquire on the services offered, everyone was so warm and friendly. You could also feel it the second you walk into the spa, its like relaxation and calmness hits you out of no where. The three of us had the following treatments: - Del Rio Signature Facial - Chemical Peel - Body Wrap, which includes a Lymphatic Drainage Massage: I can only speak for this treatment, as this was the one I did. Having a body wrap at 37 weeks pregnant definitely requires some accommodation, the treatment started off with a lymphatic drainage massage which was out of this world and ends in a 10 minute wrap. Since I am expecting they wrapped everything but my belly to prevent little baby from baking too much. After the wrap is removed you take a super relaxing shower that includes a scrub. I would 1000% come back here to get a wrap post-baby. After our treatments ended we had mimosas waiting for us and sipped them in our robes while we gushed about how amazing everything was and why we waited to long to visit this hidden gem. Both my friends who received facials said they felt like they were on a cloud after. Definitely plan on coming back and loved that this business is family owned and operated. read more

They have a free parking garage available on Ocean Street which is first come first serve, but I had no issues finding parking. I booked the Efflorescence 60 minute massage and was sent an email for confirmation. When I arrived I was greeted by a very friendly staff and offered complimentary coffee, tea, or a mimosa. I decided on a Mimosa while I filled out the initial paperwork to address my target areas for the massage. I only waited a few pleasant moments until I was taken back for my massage. I have had countless massages, but this one was by far the best. She addressed all my problem areas and it was very relaxing. When the massage was over, I was offered a refresh on my mimosa and was able to end the day sitting in the comfortable seating area overlooking a nice little view of outside. I came here on my birthday and the entire 50 minutes of my massage I could hear the massage therapist and client next door talk and laugh. I was not able to enjoy or relax at all. She gave me the best massage I have ever recieved in my entire life. I am a nurse that works long hours and my body is always in pain and this is the first time I do not feel any pain in my body. At the end, we came out to a little table with water and drinks and were able to start the day looking out the window at a cute view and just pausing for a minute before we paid and went on our way. Truly a 5/5 experience. My friends and I came from LA, separately, and there was major traffic. I was going to be 10-15 minutes late so my friend called the spa to let them know. They said it wasn't an issue and were so accommodating. I ended up arriving on time, phew! Though they have a dedicated parking lot, I parked on Ocean at the metered spot, as I was worried I wouldn't find parking in that lot. But there was plenty of spots available. Once I got there, I filled out some paperwork and they took me right in. Everyone was keeping their voice down, which I thought was very thoughtful. I treated myself to a few hours of pampering at this adorable little getaway. It's in the cutest location in Laguna in a little plaza that looks like a treehouse. I arrived and had some delicious green tea in their cute little reception area followed by a hot stone massage from Rinda and was in heaven. I was super relaxed and basically half asleep, next I had a wonderful collagen facial from Leslie, it was sooo relaxing and my skin was glowing after and now my serums are sinking in more and more effective.
