One morning, while rushing to get my three children to school and work, I placed a mobile order that included protein boxes for my kids' lunches. After waiting in the drive-thru, I was told everything was in the bag. Later, I realized one of the protein boxes was missing. Because that item had been meant for my preschooler's lunch, simply offering me the missing item later did not solve the problem. I returned to the store that evening and requested a refund for the item I paid for but never received. What should have been a simple customer service issue became unnecessarily difficult. I was initially told a receipt was required. Once I located the receipt, I still was not given the refund. The interaction escalated, police were called, and the situation became far more stressful than it ever should have been, especially with my children present. I understand employees deal with difficult situations, but this could have been resolved quickly by acknowledging the mistake and refunding the missing item. Instead, the matter was handled in a way that felt dismissive and unprofessional. I am updating this because, at the heart of it, my concern was never complicated: I paid for an item I did not receive and expected reasonable customer service. Unfortunately, that is not what happened.

Parking is in the public lot nearby. Seating is limited. All drinks are served in take-away cups. I would have preferred my 'dine-in' beverage in a mug, b ut it was still ezcellent. I can't forget to mention they have the most beautiful flower arrangements for sale and the service was excellent our barista was so helpful in helping us choose which latte to get based on our preferences. Usually just one Barista when they open but they always seem happy to be there and go above and beyond by bringing the food and drink out to the table. The coffee is good and not burnt and roasted by them. The food offered is made to order and worth the wait. Cars come barreling down behind you, and there is no dedicated left hand turn lane. The coffee ladies mentioned that nearby residents do not want to put a left turning lane on the highway to allow safe turns into this residence that serves as the coffee shop.
