This place is awesome! I love that it's 21+ so you don't have to worry about a bunch of kids everywhere, which seems to be a thing in the DMV. They have a ton of different beers on tap that are all different. There's definitely a beer for everyone at this place. The atmosphere is very chill and laidback. The bartenders and cooks are all really friendly but also not overbearing. In addition to beer I had the sandwich with the mojo pork (basically a Cuban grilled cheese) and a side of tots. Located in a very hidden location with only a little bit of parking - there is some if you go down the neighborhood street. There will be some walking though. It's a really small seating area as well. They have a great beer list and I believe they rotate it every week or so. There is an extensive grilled cheese sandwich list to so you can add your own toppings or try one of the ones they already have.... or a combination of the two! I also tried their tater tots (you can never go wrong) but the large is huuuuge. I thought it would've been smaller so I definitely will be getting the regular next time to share. We were lucky to get a spot as people were leaving though. I would plan on getting here a little early in order to snag some spots. The service is good as well, they were pretty fast with both the food and drinks considering how busy it was. The only real downfall is how small the place is and how packed it gets. read more

It's a small sized bar with a huge variety of flavor in drinks and food. Its self seated and you order from the bar which is known the moment you walk in. The staff was great on helping me out with my order. This bar specializes in grilled cheeses and tater tots which are not great types of bar food. I ordered a small Totchos (tater tot nachos) with cheese, bacon, jalapeños and tomatoes, which was a huge portion. I made my own grilled cheese with Gouda, bacon, pastrami, an egg and jalapeños. The Totchos and grilled cheese was so good. Definitely would come back again. As for parking, I went on a Sunday night which wasn't as packed as a Friday or Saturday night, so parking wasn't an issue. This place was pretty Gouda (lol). I went here with my girlfriend after searching for grilled cheese places in the area. I've heard good reviews from friends and decided to check it out. The space itself is not that big, but we weren't expecting anything fancy. We both created our own grilled cheeses. I made mine with wheat bread, cheddar, Gouda, turkey, avocado, grilled onions, grilled peppers, jalapeños, and chipotle mayo on the side (I like to pile on the toppings). We also got a plate of tots, which were nice and crispy. There is also a wide selection of beers on tap that are worth trying; you can order by the pint, goblet, or small glass, which I liked in case you wanted to survey several beers. I have been to this small little bar in the heart of the Little City several times, but it wasn't until this evening that I took the time to truly appreciate all that Spacebar has to offer. Admittedly, this was the first time I really came to eat and not drink. Though the extensive beer list is quite impressive, it was the food menu that had me preoccupied. About 20 some-odd gourmet grilled cheese options?! A cheese lover's dream! My friends and I ordered several different cheese sandwiches, none of which disappointed. Each sandwich was carefully handcrafted by a sole cook. Sitting at the bar, I had the perfect view of his work, creating his masterpieces by meticulously hand placing each topping between two slices of bread. Even the way he gently and purposefully placed each topping on the heaping piles of tater tots made every plate of "totchos" look like a Picasso or a Matisse. Bar food art at its most gourmet. The only issue I ever have with this place is that it is rather small and usually very crowded. It's often tricky to find a place to sit, making it a difficult place to bring a group and guarantee a comfortable time. I've been to Galaxy Hut a lot, Spacebar's sister restaurant in Arlington, so I knew I needed to check this place out. It fully delivers and met my expectations if not exceeded them. The vibe is casual and fun, with old B list 80s movies playing on their TV. I got the fake chicken avocado melt and it was super delicious. The tots are amazing and oh so crunchy. I personally love their hotdog one and their meatloaf one. My bf really enjoys the mojo pork one. Their tots are also always hot and crunchy, and make sure you try their totchos because who doesn't love a tot/nacho combo?! Note that this place is 21+ ONLY. They check your ID when you walk in. Parking here can be a pain because there's literally only like 10 spaces but after 5pm, the residential street nearby has free parking and is just a short walk over. Seating is also first come first serve and this place gets packed so I'd come early (they open at 5pm) if you want to nab a booth or a seat at the bar. This is my go-to spot for whenever I'm craving a grilled cheese or totchos. You have the choice to make your own grilled cheese with their many different add-one, or you can choose their pre-made sandwiches-- which are all good in their own way. I've tried a few different ones so far, but one of my favorites is the #13. The balsamic glaze combined with the cheesiness is a good combination. The bread is also super crunchy and crispy with just the right amount of cheese. Always. I love the totchos because 1) they are fricking HUGE for the price that you pay for them-- and 2) you can also put any toppings you want on it too! I like adding in basil and bacon among other things. The parking is a bit chaotic since there aren't that many spots in the lot, but I think they now have a separate lot that they use for parking as well. I never found out where it is, but if you look closely there are signs for it, I think? Their selection of beer ispretty good too! I was a health rockstar last week with my outdoor hikes, yoga marathons, acupuncture treatments, and consumption of all things green. This all went down after a casual meetup at the neighborhood Spacebar. So..much...beer. Dark beer, light beer, fruity beer, hoppy beer, international beer, local beer.... and it comes in a goblet too! Grilled cheese - I practically cheered out loud when the air was perfumed with mixed cheese, pepperoni and garlic when someone finally ordered their weekly "Pizza Grilled Cheese" special. Tatchos - Tater tots are awesome by themselves but for $5.50 you can get a large order of cheese covered tots with your choice of toppings. And oh! the toppings they have: kim chi, pulled pork, mushrooms, avocado, and much more. I choose the bacon because I am a purist like that but it was the crunchiest, thickest cut of bacon I've ever had. So yeah, it was a night of gluttony but it was happy gluttony and for that I say cheers! read more

About a 2-2.5: I've been meaning to check out Spacebar for quite some time, the sister eatery of Galaxy Hut. This place offers an extensive list of beers on tap as well as a different variety of grilled cheeses (there is also the option to make-your-own), salads, and tator tots. When you walk in, you seat yourselves, either at a booth or at the bar; after looking through the menu, just walk up to the bar and put in your order with any of the friendly bartenders; you pay, and then you just wait for the staff to bring out your food. I tried the #12, which was the House Made Meatloaf (there is an option to have a vegetarian-version; I opted for the beef), marinara, provolone cheese, and mozzarella (I substituted the mozzarella with the fresh mozzarella), all on a sourdough bread. The sandwich wasn't really the 'grilled cheese' sandwich I was looking for; I expected it to come out all nice and buttered, toasty and crispy, with melty stringy cheese; however, the bread was barely buttered and grilled; the meatloaf was really soft and more on the bland side (no seasoning); the marinara sauce was watery; the provolone cheese was nowhere to be found, and the mozzarella cheese was still in its form, not even close to being melted T___T I did try their 'Totchos,' which is the eatery's version of 'nachos' in tator tots form - it automatically comes with melted monterey and cheddar, but you can add any of their toppings (like bacon, grilled red onions, jalapenos, etc.) from their 'Stuff' ingredient list on the menu. I just had mine with the cheeses, and the tots themselves were really crispy and tasty. The place was definitely packed, which resulted in us waiting for about 40 minutes for the food to come out :O in addition to being pretty loud (a little too loud for us). While the guys here are super sweet and awesome, the grilled cheese was just too underwhelming. Perfect ploy to lure your Arlingtonite/DC friends into Falls Church. This place is AWESOME. Grilled cheese: lately I've been creating my own sandwich of cheddar, havarti, bacon, jalapeños, roasted red peppers, and grilled red onion on sourdough. Guys seriously this combo is to die for. Maybe if I order it enough times they'll add it to the menu. Ha. Crisp buttery bread, gooey cheese! Perfect portions! And if you do not dip your sandwich into the free chipotle mayo, you are one crazy pal. TOTS: crispy, crispy, omg perfect. Also dip these in the chipotle mayo. Beer: plenty of craft beer on tap that varies from week to week. Some weeks they skimp on the witbeer/wheat ale selection, but I understand most people don't care about that. They at least have one or two wheats to choose from when I visit. You can order your beer in a goblet, and then you can pretend it's from Hogwarts. Atmosphere: this place doesn't open until 5pm but it fills fast, they play music and there's a PacMan machine in the back. There's a bar to sit at, and tables too. Both are comfortable. I've had this place bookmarked for some time and finally got to visit and see what the hype was all about. Gotta say I wasn't blown away. Good food for sure but probably won't be making the trip back. When you come in grab a seat first, claim your table, and then order at the bar. We almost lost out on a table because we were rookies and didn't know any better. And knowing is half the battle... Started with an order of the totchos (tater tots smothered with cheese) and added some thick-cut bacon. Had no idea how big the serving was gonna be. We ordered a large for two people; ate about half. A small is probably big enough to share between two people. Throw in a couple of beers (local craft brews that change regularly; you can also get the tap beers to go until midnight.) and we were ready for the main course. I went with the meatloaf grilled cheese sandwich. Meatloaf, marinara, provolone and mozzarella on sourdough. It was good but it wasn't exciting. Just kinda there I guess. But this is no kraft grilled cheese sandwich (not hating, just saying). Spacebar's menu has different grilled cheeses and tater tots. There's a bunch of different combinations, as well as make your own cheesy creation. I chose the meatloaf grilled cheese sandwich based on other diners who said it's worth getting. Ohh it's worth it. The meatloaf grilled cheese was delicious and they didn't skimp on the meatloaf. It was a generous portion. The sauce was also tasty and I was impressed with how well my grilled cheese meatloaf creation stayed together. I also got a side of tater tots...yum! Grilled cheese, check, tater tots, check, what else does Spacebar have? Why beer of course! What goes well with a tasty grilled cheese but an ice cold beer. Even better, dogfish head punkin ale was on tap when we went :) It's a small place and seat yourself either at a booth or the bar. When it gets busy, be prepared to wait, but it's worth it. Everyone is friendly, the bartenders are busy but attentive. Side note, I think Spacebar is only open from 5pm on so you have to plan accordingly. Also parking. I love the additions that you can make to the tots, from veggies to vegan cheese/ meats. It's amazing. Totchos never had it so good! Then there's the grilled cheese with your choice of bread. Feeling drained or wanting to be inspired - can't pick your own? Opt for one of the pre-made winning styles on the menu. So many to choose from, in styles you might not ever think to combine. This place ain't bad, it's quite simply a craft beer and grilled cheese bar, yes, that simple. It's a tiny little place with a long bar with stools and a few booths lining the opposite wall, with one tv overhead. There are 24 taps that are in constant rotation with none of those typical beers you'd find at the majority of other places. The grill and stove are literally behind the bar so you can see your food being made and all the ingredients right in front of you. Nothing fishy happening over there! Clean and precise. They also have a cooler with bottled beers too, you are guaranteed to find something you like here along with probably something you have never seen or had. :) My only complaint really is the service is kinda slow, it may have just been an off night but I kept feeling like I was just being glanced over by my particular bartender. Oh well, I'll definitely give them another chance to make that up cause I still need to try one of the many grilled cheese sammiches and the tots were damn crunchy! Yum! Beer beer everywhere!!! Spacebar is a really interesting place. They serve specialty grilled cheese/sandwiches, beers, and Tots... so many Tots. I tried a #15 and expected a fairly run of the mill sandwich... but man was I wrong. It was incredibly tasty and the order of tots was more than enough for two people to share. It's a pretty small place, but overall the experience was great. It's super divey and that's what's awesome about it. Some of the beers are a bit on the expensive side even compared to other places in the DC area (10.5 a pint for some of the IPAs). read more

I came here stoked for what I hoped was an interesting atmosphere and good food. I was sorely disappointed. The "space" theme starts at the door and ends there with a hanging rocket ship in the window. (The tarot reader next door had more interesting window dressings) You had to stand at the bar to order (which I hate when there is no clear designated spot to do so) and I was ignored for a while despite them not really being that busy for a Saturday night. The seating was cramped, so much so the "waiter/cook" couldn't fit through the aisle to bring our food. Our table's food was all wrong---how the hell you mess up a grilled cheese I don't know. And of course their most popular sandwich (the meatloaf), I ordered and was then told after waiting that they were sold out. Lame. I'm sorry but if I wanted to pay $12 for half-a** grilled cheese in a Christmas light string lit room, I'd just hang out in a 14 year old's basement. P.S. The tots sucked. ***3.5 stars*** I have been on a grilled cheese kick and had to visit Spacebar. They do have a great selection of beers (some wine) and a decent list of sandwiches to choose from. My favorite beer is the Full Sail, Session Black Lager - very smooth and clean and went really well with the #12 meatloaf grilled cheese. There was the right amount of cheese, marinara and meatloaf; the perfect comfort sandwich. We also tried the #17 roast beef. We didn't taste much of the horseradish and the beef was a bit dry and bland. We also ordered the totchos with jalapenos, bacon, tomatoes and grilled red onion. They were decent, you can't really go wrong with tater tots! The bar itself is a little cramped, bar seating, a few booths and a couple of tables. There is also an arcade 'console' that has several different video games available for play. The parking lot is very small. All your ordering is done at the bar. Menus are hanging on the wall above your table. It's a simple place with a small neighborhood feel. I definitely recommend you try Spacebar. read more

This hidden gem/hole in the wall is in the city of Falls Church and can be overlooked if you're not careful. I highly recommend that you don't overlook this place. It's open seating with a long bar and with 8-10 tables. You order at the bar and they bring all your food to you. They have 24 beers on tap, which change daily. You can visit their Facebook page for the most recent beer menu. There are 15 types of grilled cheese you can choose from but you can also create your own with ingredients that include kimchi, grilled portobello, and egg. If you can think it, they can create it. They even have vegan options if you're into that and not that there's anything wrong with that (random Seinfeld quote, sorry let's move on). Then there are the tots, FREAKING TOTS!!! Who doesn't love tots? From plain to create your own, which they call "totchos," where you can add their variety of toppings. Split three grilled cheese sandwiches with six friends (check out Christiane V.'s review) and ordered a basket of plain tots. We ordered the gouda and havarti on multigrain (#3), pastrami (#6), and bbq pulled pork (#20). Just like a parent I couldn't pick my favorite kid...errr grilled cheese. Tried this place for the first time last week and absolutely LOVED it! The bartender was very welcoming. This place is fairly small, but I enjoyed that. Gave it a real comfy feeling. Grilled cheese, tots, and beer. Simple as that. What more could you want? I tried the #14. Delicious. Can't wait to come back and try a different one. We ordered the totchos and added mojo pulled pork and onions. These were the best tots I have ever had the pleasure of stuffing into my mouth. Things I really did love about Space bar. The food was amazing hands down. I like the fact that you can make something rather than choosing something off the menu. I had pretty much the best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had in my life. It had so much flavor. They also have a really good selection of beer to choose from. I also really liked the 21+ rule because dealing with children at 8pm on a Saturday isn't much fun. Things I didn't really like we're it was clearly a cute little hole in the wall place which also means pretty much no sitting. There wasn't much room inside. If you know me, you know I rave about Galaxy Hut to anybody who will listen (http://www.yelp.com/biz/galaxy-hut-arlington#hrid:v3mMhIxOFYwnCKVmoBwMYQ). Of course, I could not wait until Spacebar opened in my former neighborhood of Falls Church. Given that Falls Church is pretty suburban, it's understandable that things are run slightly differently. First difference - no pitchers. Smart decision, given that most patrons probably drive here; there's a little lot that's shared with the neighboring CD Cellar and local psychic, which is convenient. Street parking is plentiful. Second difference - no funky local art. Boo! The arcade tables and slightly morbid artwork were some of my favorite things about the Hut; since Spacebar just opened, perhaps it'll just take them a while to acquire this funk/character. Last difference - no jukebox. The music is still great, but alas, you can't select it on your own. Spacebar specializes in grilled cheeses. A regular grilled cheese actually works out to be more expensive than at Galaxy Hut - whereas $7 at the Hut will get you a regular grilled cheese and a side of tots, that same grilled cheese gets you only the grilled cheese at Spacebar, and tots are $1.50 extra. I also noticed slight differences in topping prices (e.g. adding a tomato is $.50 at the Hut, but just $.25 at Spacebar). Price differences aside, Spacebar offers an enormous variety of grilled cheeses - lighter fare with feta, mozzarella, spinach, tomatoes, etc. and meatier options with pastrami, roast beef, meatloaf, and bacon. I chose to get fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato, and balsamic glaze on sourdough - the bread is perfectly golden, with a crisp crust, and the mozzarella came out in gooey strings just like on TV. DEEELIIIISHUSSSS. Somebody sure knows how to work a flat top grill! Big minus for me, at least on this visit, was the AC blasting subarctic breezes into my booth. I somewhat unwisely chose to sit at the second booth from the window, and was buffeted by winds from 2 AC ducts. By the time I realized my mistake, it was too late. Note to self - find rooftop bar when it opens, or take cover further inside. Expect the same friendly service, great selection of beers, and great great great tots. (see linked review above... Holy grilled cheese! AND craft beer?! I may be in love (sorry honey)... We originally stumbled upon this place one rainy Sat afternoon and have been back several times since. Its tucked away off of Rte. 7 next to the Falls Church CD Cellar. They open at 5 and not a minute before, so adjust your day accordingly. There's a "21 & over" sign on the door, and they mean it. The bartender calls everyone who enters over to the bar to check their Ids (sorry young ins). This place is small, and generally fills up by about 630-7 on weeknights. Décor is simple and they always have some cheesy old movie playing over the bar (my fave place to sit). If you plan on coming here w/ a bigger group, I suggest calling ahead so they can save a table for you. If you end up in one of the booths that lines the east wall, be prepared for some exercise. Both drink and food orders have to be placed at the bar. Happy hour is M-F between 5-7pm and usually features $4 pints of 2 or 3 beers, one of which is always local. Now that I've gotten all of the technical stuff out of the way.... Grilled Cheese, tater tots, A salad, and BEER. That's what you'll find on their menu. I love their beer selection. They rotate often, but they usually have a few of the "it" beers of the month on tap as well as plenty of local and out of town stuff. They also do a good job of keeping a variety of styles on tap, though sometimes its heavy on the IPAs. Not sure if you'll like something? Ask the bartender for a sample. Wanna go all in and just try something you're not sure about but you reallyyyyyyyy don't want a whole pint? They offer goblets for a cheaper price. You can also take beer home in a mason jar if you find something you really like and have no interest in searching your local craft beer store for it. As for the food, DELICIOUS. They offer about 20 different grilled cheeses including a build your own option (my husband's fave). I first fell in love w/ the #12: meatloaf, mozzarella, & provolone. As a New Englander, we always had leftover meatloaf in the form of a sandwich and it was always better than the 1st meatloaf meal. Spacebars meatloaf is fresh and juicy and they add just the right amount of sauce. On the rare occasion that I want something different, I go w/ the #9: Ham, apple, grilled onion, gouda, & honey mustard. Need I say more? Summary: If I was closer, I would probably live here :) Ok, I would get really fat, but it's definitely my kind of place. It's a tiny bar, but for what they have, it's well done. I love cheese and I love tater tots. They hit the money on that with all of those. Also, they converted a bunch of industrial fridges to serve as kegerators, so it has awesome craft beer at perfect temperatures, and it gives the place a "future" feel with the stainless steel and digital readouts all over the place. Th only downside is that I had a buddy who really wanted liquor, but this place only serves craft beers. Once I found out that this friend wanted a long island iced tea, I pretty much disowned him anyways, but you get the point. Enjoy the good beers or don't come here. Something so simple yet so good! They staff was super helpful and friendly our first time here. Great local bar in Falls Church. They don't open until 5pm and it is 21+ only, they check IDs at the door. Very small parking lot, but we actually parked in the garage near Mad Fox Brewery a couple blocks down (where we ended up after Spacebar). Their grilled cheese sammiches + TOTS are a must have! Who doesn't love tots? We ordered the #14 grilled cheese sammich: bacon, roasted red pepper with feta and mozzarella, and substituted for whole wheat bread ($9) + easy egg ($1) + side tots ($1.50) + large basket of tots ($4)..they were so yummy we ordered more..well and another friend came so why not order more?! :) There was a huge selection of 20+ draft beers, decently priced, not terrible. Only 2 beers at the time were on HH. My favorite beer I tried was the new belgium salted caramel brownie brown ale. The bartenders/servers were really nice and helpful. We sat at the bar but if you're sitting at a booth be sure to order at he bar. Would definitely recommend for a casual place to just catch up and have good beers and food! read more

This place use to be cool, now it's not. Came here on a Sunday night and the place was barely busy. 13 people in there max who were already mostly drinking and eating. I ordered the Lionhead Pils (Can, $3). Bartender asked if I wanted a glass, pours the beer in the pint for me. My friend ordered a sandwich and beer right around the same time as me. My tots came out, delicious like always. We finish that and another round and still no sandwich. By this time it had been around 40 minutes and I urge him to go say something. When he went up to get another beer the bartender beat him to the punch and said she forgot about his order... I'm not sure how a place like this forgets an order considering how not busy they were.. The sandwich with vegan chicken was delicious but not delicious enough to wait 40 minutes for. Another thing I want to point out is: check your receipts! When I went to pay I noticed my tab was a little more than I anticipated and it turns out that I was charged $4 for the Lionhead Pils instead of the price listed on the menu ($3). The manager said that it was because they also had the Lionhead Pils on draft and that's what it looks like it was rang up as.. As I mentioned earlier in my review, the bartender opened and poured the beers in front of me so why she would charge me for the draft is beside me. I didn't want to be THAT ridiculous customer over $3, and I understand that mistakes happen and it was only a small amount of money but it's the principle that bothered me. The manager did try to refund me the $3 I overpaid but I was over it and I only wanted to point out that an error was made and should hopefully be corrected for the next customer. A bar that serves grilled cheese? What an awesome idea. A friend and I came around 5:30 (they open at 5) and there was plenty of seating - both at the bar and in the booths. We secured a cozy booth towards the back where we dropped off out jackets and immediately picked up the menu. There's a long list of pre-selected grilled cheeses as well as the option to create your own. I love the variety in cheese, breads, meats, and toppings (they even have vegan meat options!). We ordered the ham, apples, grilled onion, honey mustard, gouda, and swiss on multigrain to split. Since healthiness is pretty much out the window once you settle on grilled cheese as a meal, we threw in a side of tots. (Slight tangent, if you're feeling really ambitious, get the totchos. Essentially nachos, but with tater tots instead of chips, and all the same topping goodness!) I think the bartender slightly judged me when I ordered only food and no drink, but hey, I was here to eat. About ten minutes later, out came our fresh off the griddle grilled cheese sandwich, cut diagonally, and served with a mound of tater tots. I took a bite and man, my taste buds were SO happy. The honey mustard and apple added just some sweetness to the sandwich that went really well with the gooey cheese. I was less a fan of the tots (I prefer when they're slightly less crunchy) but my friend devoured them so I'll assume he was a fan. My one quip with this place is it's kind of pricey for a grilled cheese sandwich. We ended up paying about $14 (sandwich + tots + tip) for something that I could likely make on my own for much cheaper if I bothered to buy all the ingredients. I love me some Spacebar. This tiny bar is super casual, a little kitschy, and perfect for catching up with a couple of friends over a diverse rotation of ever-changing brews. Food: The grilled cheeses are all well executed, and there is a long list of add-ons offered that give you a nice range of customization (my recommendation is to slap some of the the "garlicky spinach" on pretty much anything). I still never feel like a sandwich for dinner is ever enough, so it's a good thing they also offer TOTS!!! Their "totchos" are a fun concept, some argue that smothering something in cheese is always an upgrade, but I prefer my tots crispity-delicious, so maybe I'm a tot-purist here. Beer: I love a good variety of taps, and Spacebar doesn't disappoint. I most appreciate that you can order any of the drafts in a sample, small goblet, or pint, so it's possible to enjoy a moderate amount of many different beers vs. getting unreasonably wasted trying to try everything (but it that's your plan anyway, just order the full pints, haha). Ambiance: This bar is narrow and TINY, with one bathroom for one. It's lined with four-person booths down a long bar, and their music selection is eclectic, which can be a fun talking point. The last time I was there, they had Pixar movies showing on a TV above the bar. This place is great for meeting a couple of friends, but I've the feeling any group larger than 5-6 will probably feel a bit crowded. Also, parking is a bit of a bear; there are a couple of dedicated parking spots directly in front of the restaurant, but otherwise you have to find street parking and walk. This place having so many beers, I would love to see them expand their snack/appetizer selection to make it a little more welcoming for a small group to sit, nosh, and kick back for a while. (But it does get crowded later in the night, so maybe that's part of the design to help keep the crowd turning over?) The service is good (you order at the bar) and the various employees are all pretty laid-back. Bottom line - a fun dive. read more

I love the idea of a 21+ restaurant. A 21+ restaurant with beer and totchos is even better! Obviously I got a grilled cheese - the roast beef was delicious. The beer I got was a sour and I really liked it. They have so many options that anyone can find a beer they like. The highlight for me was the totchos though! Tater tots with cheese and any toppings you want (we got bacon). I'm in love. I wish they had more seating but we came with five people so it was definitely a struggle to get a table. It would be a lot better if you came alone or with one other person to have the best experience. I'll definitely be back here! read more

Loved this place! I love grilled cheese sandwiches and this place is perfect. Even my fiance who is not big on grilled cheese or cheese even was a huge fan of this place. The ambiance was very fitting for the name and the vibe was very chill and homey where the bartenders greet you as you come in, and you just seat yourself. You order at the bar and they bring the food to you. Everything is made fresh and you could smell all the grilled cheese goodness going on. They have an awesome menu with all sorts of different grilled cheese sandwiches and other sandwiches and tater tots. You can order one of their menu items or build your own. Their tater tots are super crispy and taste fresh. They even have a pbj grilled cheese, I was like whoaaa, def gotta try that next time. Unique sandwiches and good ol traditional ones too. I had the grilled swiss cheese pastrami that comes with the must have sauerkraut and russian dressing on rye. The pastrami meat was delish and the bread was perfectly buttered and grilled.
