Honestly I've never paid monthly for worse customer service in my life. After canceling my cable service which was 2 phone calls each lasting more than an hour. This is an operation that really needs to have a zero star rating, a one is far too generous. I was helping my sister in law move from her Spectrum service area to Utah which does not have Spectrum. She has been a customer for some 25 years, and I am sure was never so much as late on her bill. Before returning equipment, and closing the account we asked three different Spectrum employees about maintaining her email she has had for 25 years. All assured us the email would remain, regardless of the fact she no longer had an account, or that she was no longer in the service area of Spectrum. We even stated we would be willing to maintain a minimum account in order to keep the email. Again we were assured the email would be maintained. It was all a lie, and email was gone the next day. Bottom line, after hours of phone calls to many different customer service agents, nothing can be done right when she is in need of many email transactions due to her home move. Spectrum could care less. This is a communication company that does not know how to communicate. Stay away from all things Spectrum! read more

I calls my house on 8/12/2021. I came to the store to cancel my TV and internet service. They only cancel the TV and charged me $72 internet service. I have been calling customer service with no support because there is no notes showing my cancellation. I showed them my closing record; they keep telling me to talk to the supervisor. But, they always said that the supervisor just left. They didn't send me cancelation notice. They may be doing on purpose to get the money. Bad service. read more

The box came with a fedex return to address and the instructions said to either drip Off the box at a fedex location or a local spectrum outfit. When I came here to drop off the box the spectrum rep said I needed to sign in and wait even though the box was packaged with the return to address onthe box. What? Why? So I left and found a nearby fedex store where I dropped off the package and was out the door. read more

Spectrum has gotten greedy and is ripping people off !!! When Cancelling Your Spectrum Bill: It's important to take a close note of when your service ends.  Spectrum bills are no longer pro-rated so if you cancel on the 3rd of the month, but your billing cycle starts on the 1st of the month, you'll need to pay for the full month. It didn't always use to be this way but Spectrum has really turned up the focus on revenue generation. Is there a law against this practice in Calif. ?? read more

This review is for Spectrum mobile as a whole not this site & this is based off my personal experience..., I was going to switch over to Spectrum mobile (from Verizon) because the rep was such a great sales woman and let me know how much money I was going to save, etc...I felt for it hook, line& sinker. My son took the day off work to wait for the phones to be delivered only for them not to come and I had to drive about 30-40 minutes to pick them up. I never opened then phones, don't really know why, maybe deciding if I was going to make them a Christmas gift, but At any rate I let them sit. Meantime, i took 2 of my 3 of my three sons to boot camp for the USMC I was advised to check in to see if there were any further discounts offered for military families. I contacted Spectrum and was advised that Spectrum does not honor our military. Ok, that bothered me a little, likely because my boys are now part of the military so I let it go. I was also bothered by one rep telling of sales offered then the next rep telling me that was wrong. Finally I decided with all the bumps I had been experiencing with them that I would send the phones back and not start service with them after all. The phones were NEVER opened. I had to follow up regarding my refund on the phones a couple of times until the refund FINALLY went thru minus a $35/each restocking fee that I was told I would be refunded once the phones were verified in good condition, remember they were never opened and already refunded for the phones what else is there to verify!?! I was told it would be 3-5 days for my refund of $70. It's more like 3-5 weeks and then they "credited" my account...the account that does not even exist. Now I get to wait 3-5 more days to see if they actually refund my card. Their saving grace is that their reps are very friendly and helpful but all I can say is Spectrum, if you don't take care of your customers, someone else will. If I could do negative stars I would... I went into this office to turn in all my cable boxes and WiFi routers because I have been paying 250$ a month for something that didn't even work half of the time. At lease 4 times a week I would have to reset my WiFi because it would constantly disconnect from my smart TVs, phones, and ipad. I could never access on demand or the hbo package I was paying for. I don't watch much tv so I figured oh well no big deal till it got old. I had just recently went in August to do the same thing. They gave me all new equipment and prorated me for 2 months because 2 of my 3 cable boxes would not even work for months. I figured when I went in today they would have no problem prorating my cable and allowing me to just keep my WiFi. Not only was the lady who "helped" me if you could call it that, (I wouldn't say she helped at all) but not only was she very rude, she also informed me that they no longer prorate anything even if it's because their equipment doesn't work, that I would be billed for this entire month even though my monthly cycle ends and begins every 10th of the month. She said I would be billed again in December for a full month, that they will cancel my cable, and that I would still be paying $75.99 for just 200mb of WiFi. That price alone for just WiFi is ridiculous when I have automatic monthly installments, have never missed a payment and my 2 year contract was up in September. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said nobody is in right now that I would have to call customer service. I left called customer service and this lady was even ruder than the one in the store. I have never been so unhappy with a service in my entire life. She also said that they no longer prorate any services as I just said and that $75.99 was actually their going rate since I am no longer on a plan?! BULLSHIT!!! Then when I asked for a supervisor she said that I should have received an email or letter informing me of this new policy that took place in their company on June 1st of this year... So they're basically telling me they sent a notice and if I didn't get it oh well there was nothing they could do or nothing they would do. I was pissed as you could imagine, I immediately called my bank and put in a stop payment order so they could no longer pull any monthly fees I would have usually paid when I was a customer of theirs. Just a couple of many problems, is The guide seldom works compared to other providers I've had! It is horrible for pixelating on my recorded or paused shows. Half to most are clearly impossible to watch. This is a monopoly. Everytime I come here the customer service is horrible. Today was no different. I was greeted with the same horrible customer service and only two workers on staff. One worker was chatting it up while the whole store was packed.... The second worker looked like she hates her life and greets customers with an angry unwelcoming face. Finally got called and was serviced by the angry lady. Came to return equipment and it shocked me how long it took her to process my return. A simple transaction that should have taken a couple minutes took this angry lady a whole 10 minutes of heavy breathing and impatient attitude. As if she was going out of her way to help me... If this wasn't the only store near me, I would never step in here. Spectrum GM really needs to take a look at why this store has such low moral and productivity. Just terrible, From the odd looking lady inside the store who just stared at me with absolutely no answers, to the horrible customer service I received when I called, to the ridiculous yet very kind clowns who came out here four times to fix the Internet. Terrible . So the Internet is still not fixed. Spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with a really good tech guy who tried very hard to help me out and I really appreciate it but other than that it was just a terrible experience from the time it got the service until now. I've had it since February and it's now December. I will be moving over to frontier and hoping that that is a better service. As far as price frontier is cheaper with more megabits per second and anything is better than not being able to watch a half hour TV show streaming without being kicked off the Internet. read more

Other than the price and the Dodgers... And the nice installation man... Spectrum is very unsatisfactory. Seriously. I mean I guess you get what you pay for. So heads up! The service freezes, when you pause the tv makes whatever sound was playing play over and over so you here a horrible noise like a cd or DVD scratching. I just got a message saying services are temporarily unavailable... The DVR function is horrible. When you hit record... say im leaving and want to record the end of my show... You have to select the channel and select a recording time frame and it's ugly, difficult to understand, and not user friendly. You can't just hit record and walk away. Anywho. Just my review for those thinking of switching or interested... I see all these commercials for spectrum with bf and we laugh haha every time. I've never had big issues with this store in the past but today is the exception. At present there are 14 people waiting for service and three clerks. One just came on, and one has been tied up with a customer for ages. The third keeps leaving the floor. So unsurprisingly we're moving slowly. There is a manager on duty, who is oblivious. She walks out, looks around but instead of helping customers, heads for her office. There is no excuse for her not at least clearing fast transactions (bill payments, equipment exchanges). She needs to get the slow clerk moving! People have walked out in frustration (I've counted five so far). It's hard to imagine they can't have anticipated this the day before New Year's Eve. I dont even want to rate these people. I was lied to by one of their field reps. He told me to in buying the package in bundle.. Phone, internet, tv. I told him I didnt need phone service he said I could cancel later. Which was a lie. If I were to remove that service my bill would increase. 1st upset with spectrum. By the way I forgot to mention the only reason I chose spectrum is because they are month to month. So If I don't have the money to pay for that month I dont have service. I live my life that way right now. Specteum TV stated that I ordered an MLB package via remote and never called to dispute it, however as I stated earlier I live month to month. During the period of the 4 months they claim I never called to dispute the package, when in fact I was calling in every month because they turned off my service. So as I stated I was calling in. They however neglected to mention or ask me" So how is that MLB package wotking for you... Never in the 4 month.. This was last summer. I never ordered it I tried to explain. They made me pay or I'd be sent to collections. Now they are telling me and have sent me to collections for the month of July last year, yet continued to give me service for August, September, October, November, December..Up until February. Whrn a tech came knocking with the threat of collections if I didnt turn in the equipment because i was done with them and I hadn't paid for the month. However as I mentioned i always did that. They don't tell you when your order the service. They just want a sale. We just had the service installed on Saturday it's now only Monday and the Internet has gone out 3 times.
