BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! An internet account was opened by my ex-husband where I was added as an authorized user. When I moved from the address we were living, I turned in the internet equipments. I was never responsible for the account in any way. The payments were made by my ex, the account was ran by my ex. I did not give consent to be made an account holder, yet spectrum some how placed me as the account holder. The account is stated to have my name, my number and address on it. When I spoke to the collection company, Harris & Harris LTD, they informed me that it is a case of misidentification as the account has my name; however, the date of birth belongs to my ex and his number was noted to not be contacted. Seeing that his date of birth is the one on the account, that verifies that the account is tied to his identification, not mine. Harris & Harris then closed the case and had it removed from my Experian credit report. I have spoken to Spectrum on multiple occasions and they are still holding me accountable even though there is no legal ties. I asked what do they have on file that holds me accountable and I was being refused the information which I then told them that it is my right to know, and after going back and forth with the person on the phone, I was told only my name and address. I have all these exchange recorded on my cell phone to prove my case. I have never had a collection on my file and this has greatly affected me and my credit. 159 points was dropped from my Experian account. I have been denied a loan from affirm because of the collection that was on my report. I was not aware of the collections when I applied to affirm on Sep 10,2025 as I hardly check Experian. Now affirm has saved the information to their system and denied other loan applications even though the account was deleted. I am very worried that Spectrum might try to report this account to my credit again causing more damage. I can send in recordings and any other documents needed. Side note... I sent in paperwork to prove I was not the account holder to spectrum on Saturday Sep 13, 2025. I also submitted a copy of my ID so they might try to add my correct date of birth to the account. I spoke last to Luis a member of the Spectrum leadership team. I was told I will still be held responsible for the account, even though there is no legal ties between me and the account. All they have for me on the account is my name and address. I would need to have provided them with my Id that would include my date of birth. They would have also needed my ssn number.

I've had so many issues with service stability and their provided equipment that many years ago I purchased my own cable modem. One day I received a flyer that google fiber was now available for my unit. I called spectrum and it hey said they could match the service quality but their rate was higher ... and I would have to use their equipment. I gave them a chance but they could not activate their equipment for FOUR hours. Eventually it activated but I got no internet. They then started to blame my top of the line nighthawk router that was working JUST FINE along with my modem before they activated their modem. This is how they left it KNOWING I needed internet to work the next day. I asked them to hook up my old modem that was working fine before, but they said it was "incompatible" with their service. I plugged in my old modem and BOOM everything worked again. Tired with their incompetence, I called Gfiber and they had me hooked up the SAME DAY and it only took 30 minutes for SYMMETRICAL 1 GB SERVICE FOR LESS than spectrum. You would think my problems with spectrum would stop there, but it didn't. They even made disconnecting their service especially difficult, attempting to pass the blame on to me for "expectations". It told them my only expectation was working internet since it had been working just fine for years before. Can they seriously blame me for leaving after giving them FOUR HOURS to resolve then leaving me with ZERO SERVICE? And they're charging me a "rental fee" for equipment that's not even activated? I don't think I would be so bitter if it weren't for the repeated attempts by every person I talked to to blame me ("equipment", "expectations") ... they use the same words so I think they're trained to blame the customer. I still have the streaming premium apps but I'm going to shop around to find a better combined rate for the apps I use.

Have 1 person quickly receive returned equipment. Waiting over an hour while you upsell everyone in…read moreline is the highest level of disrespect. This is why people leave bad reviews.

Negative stars if I could. This store sold us on a phone plan with a free line if we purchase a buy…read moreone get one free for the new iPhone back in October. They mentioned to us our bill shouldn't be over 190. When we started getting charged it was almost 300 a month for 2 phone lines that are being charged. So we decided to call corporate since this location wasn't of any help with the details. Corporate sounded very confused, my husband was placed on hold many times for them to apologize and give him the option to either keep the lines or cancel them. We said we want to cancel all of them even the free line. Don't charge me anymore. We then proceeded to switch carries since t mobile was of no help. After they cancelled our lines my husband was logged out of the T-Mobile app and could no longer access it. This was in April 2026. Now today, May 10 we noticed there was service on the phone that was supposed to have a free line so we tried to log into our T-Mobile app, it was no available to view any billing. And we called corporate support to figure out the issue. Everyone we have spoken to has not been able to help us cancel this line we were never supposed to have. As we further investigated the phone, it now looks like T mobile switch led the main line to the free services phone so they can charge our card. This is considered fraudulent especially if we said cancel all lines especially the one the is supposed to be free. Cancel all 3 of the lines. There was no clarity from the technical support team that indicates any feedback as to the reason why this is happening. It all started with a deal they sold us on, they never applied the deal so we got charged more. And now since we cancelled the lines, they still switched a phone to an active line upon themselves. And we are wasting a day for stress and credit card charges that were not supposed to be there. If you're thinking about joining T-Mobile, consider try looking somewhere else for phone lines. They just don't make it easy to cancel lines.

All I can say is this place is so unorganized. Possibly the worst authorized T-Mobile store that…read moreI've ever visited. I had to make multiple trips to for a simple task to be completed...and they even screwed that up! They over sale and way under promised. I literally had to pay for THEIR mistakes. Totally no excuse for this kind of "service" when there are plenty of other carriers to go with. A really sour experience.
