Pros - Great view of the Colorado revir and the bridge. Feels very scenic outside as you step outside of cafe creme. - has a tall bar with few tall seats - happy hour: 4-6pm (everyday) - Plenty of seating inside and outside - wifi and restroom - $1 charge for alt milks options: 2%, skim, coconut, oat, almond Cons - despite being an extra-ordinary location: view from the outdoor patio is unbeatable! However, for some reason, lot of sketchy people seem to be around businesses in this Area especially the library. So, be careful and be aware of safety situations which occasionally arises out of nowhere. Some bad incidents seem to be always happening around. It feels like as if bad people and crimes are ruining the beautiful parts of Austin City. - 1 hour validation parking in library garage, can rarely come by here due to parking restrictions other than Monday and Tuesdays.

Pastries are serviceable - not bad, but nothing to write home about either. Be prepared for a long wait when you come here during lunch time, though!

I was so surprised to see this rated 3.6 out of 5.0. It's easily a 5.0 for me. The team members…read more(staff) are understanding and helpful, much like the feeling of a hotel where effortless hospitality is the only focus. The patrons are a mixed bag. Some leave their dogs on the overly nice furniture, leaving fur behind. It doesn't bother me, but I can understand how it would bother others looking at this as a restaurant, instead of what it is, a daytime coffee lounge and an evening cocktail bar. If it were just a coffee shop, there wouldn't be enough outlets, and there should be more pastries. If it were just a bar, it'd be a little too bright in the daytime, and the laptop workers (me included) would hurt the cool cocktail vibe...BUT it's not just those two things. It's both, and they do a remarkable job of accommodating everyone while maintaining a chill vibe. Seriously, everyone has surprised me with how nice they are here, and we're lucky to have something so architecturally significant with high-end indoor/outdoor furniture. This could just be another $$$ restaurant that detracts from the city's culture rather than adding to it.

And for toppings, they had butter, berries (strawberries, blueberries and blackberries), sprinkles and chocolate chips. I only chose the butter and berries. Their syrup was incredible: blueberry rosemary maple as well as pure maple. Mark, the chef, slaved over a hot griddle to make the pancakes...a labor of love for him. He kept up with serving a long line of hungry runners. We were also treated to a free cup of drip coffee - hot or cold brew. I chose the cold brew because it was so hot outside...especially after the long run! They have lovely seating areas both in front and in back. They also regularly host running events in the summer with Fleet Feet running store. The series is called "Never.Been Better." And it's true!

We went for brunch and cocktails. I don't know if the person was having a bad day or what, but the person taking our order was quite rude. Not just to us, but to others lined up as well. The food was solid. I got the breakfast sandwich and one of the frozen cocktails. Probably wouldn't do the same drink again, but next time will definitely be trying one of the coffee cocktails.
