The food is great and authentic. I've gotten tacos, burritos, chicken wings, and other dishes from this place and it's delicious. However, I noticed that their fries are not crunchy at all. I always get the chicken ones - and multiculturalism has made me a bit of a picky eater, so I have pretty high standards when it comes to my comida - the cilantro puts taco bell to shame. To shame! Nice little spot for Mexican food, good prices too. Usually after work in Saturday's I order some wings and/or nachos for my crews. The Cajun wings are really good, the guys' favorite! Breakfast burritos are also good. We had a company party (also invited a bunch of other company's that are family friends etc), Speedy Taco catered it with two guys serving tacos de asada, al pastor, chorizo, and cecina. It was good. I've eaten here twice. Once four years ago and once a week ago. This is really good food! I got a burrito the first time, and this last time I got chicken quesadilla dinner. It was AMAZING. I really think it was the best quesadilla I've ever had. I would recommend this place to anyone. The only reason I knocked off a star was because it is too pricey. I got my chicken quesadilla dinner(came with a quesadilla, rice, refried beans) and a small only cheese quesadilla for my daughter. It was about $20. Pretty thrilled that this place is so near the base! Legit street tacos...even if you go gringo and get the 3-6 p.m. special of beef tacos, and get the "American" lettuce and tomato version versus the onion and cilantro version, they're still scrumptious. Don't go expecting ambience...it's just counter service, a few laminate tables, and soda you can buy from the can from a cooler or serve-yourself fountain soda...I did see that they had a horchata dispenser, but it was empty for the night when I was there for dinner. Go expecting cheap, flavorful stuff. Chips and salsa come with a nice bit of heat, and the entree is served quickly ("Speedy Taco" is no misnomer). Of the three bottles of sauce/salsa you get at your table, one is a standard red salsa, one is a salsa verde, and the other is a creamy green sauce that isn't, as far as I can tell, any kind of guacamole-ish sauce. I have no idea what it is, but it's DIVINE. It seems pretty likely that it's all homemade. My fiance also for whatever reason, inexplicably ordered ten Buffalo wings (this place has a wide range of food, not just Mex/Tex-Mex), and darned if those weren't as good as I've had in Buffalo. This is my favorite authentic local spot. I always get the breakfast burrito, chilaquiles, or fish tacos. Everything is always fantastic and they get it to you fast. So glad they've been able to keep up their business during covid. they enforce mask regulations here and you can see right into the kitchen from the register so I trust them fully to maintain sanitation. read more

This restaurant is a gem in an area generally void of good food. It is a traditional taqueria with delicious food. I get the carne asada burrito every time I go. The carne asada is perfectly seasoned and cooked, juicy, and just perfect. The rest of the burrito is solid as well. It is sizable as well, can be 1 large meal or 2 smaller meals. The salsa is also amazing at this place- they have 3-4 different spice levels. I love the spicy salsa, I believe is an avocado salsa. It is very spicy but not so spicy it is inedible. Went to the place and asked for two carne asada dinner plates and one burrito dinner plate. Each with rice and beans. Ended up paying like forty dollars and the lady told me that even though I bought three dinner plates I was only to get one soda. On top of that I asked for pico de gallo and I was told that they didn't have none. The best way I can give the most accurate rating is by looking at 5 major things. Quality of food: 5 stars. The food was amazing! I ordered a stir steak torta, cajun fries, and soda. Defenitly a place I would take my familly to. Bathrooms: 2 stars. There is one single bathroom for both men and woman and it was pretty disapointing. There was no hot water, no paper towels, and overall didn't feel clean. Not a big issue but taught it should be adressed. Waiting time: 4.5 stars. The waiting time was pretty fast. Could be because there wasn't much people ordering. Price: 4 stars. Honestly, this depends on how much you are willing to spend. 11$ should be enough for a torta, drink, and fries. Today was my first time going. I did not feel welcome at all. All of the workers give you looks and are not very friendly whenever you are ordering your food. It took over 20 minutes to get my food, might I add. I ordered one of the steak burritos. The food is worth the amount you pay because of how much you get, but quality wise... no. The burrito was really soggy and so were the fries I ordered as a side. The decor in there is really terrible and nasty. Whenever the female was handing me my food, I asked her where my drink was because I had ordered a fountain drink with the meal. She seemed as if she didn't want to go back to make the drink for me. Only reason why I am giving 2 stars is because I was at least full after eating the meal. I grew up eating quality Mexican food weekly in SoCal and have been craving Mexican food in this neighborhood. I find that it is comparable to fast Mexican food joints back home. For what it is - speedy - it's delicious and affordable. I always get a torta or tacos with horchata and eat in. They deliver chips and salsa to my table to munch on for the three minutes before my food comes out.
