They were able to come out the same day we called. They provide scope of work and estimates (predetermined price on their tablet so you can see that he doesn't just pull a price out of his pants) before they start on the job. Most recently we had Jeff working on our plumbing issues and he was very professional, knowledgeable and patient. He took the time to explain what the issue is, why it happened, and what can be done to fix it. He also gave us pointers on proper maintenance. We had a suspected leak yet no damage. I called a plumber we had used several years ago. I tracked him down at Splash Plumbing. His name is Jeff and he is really good at evaluating the situation and coming up with solutions that don't create more damage than is necessary to repair. I called Splash and talked to Barbara who was very nice. She scheduled Jeff to come out to our house. He was at my house in less than two hours. He found the problem and came up with a good non destructive way to fix the leak. We caught it early and with his repair we did not have damage. Just called this company. They have a call center answering their calls. Maybe on the weekend, I didn't call during the week as my kitchen sink is stopped up and I have been trying to get a plumber for over a month now. Yes it's that difficult. Through the noise in the background (sounded like a telemarketing center) the operator was courteous however she did warn me about the 125.00 fee just for the "after hours" aka weekend call. Splash was recommended to me by a friend who works to restore water-damaged homes/businesses. They were able to come out within an hour of my call to try to unclog our washing machine drain. The bad news: Our laundry room was built without a "clean out" valve, and there was no snake that could reach the problem. So the Splash technician used chemicals to try to clear the line (which takes time to work). I paid for the service call and the labor, but wasn't charged for the chemicals. Unfortunately, the chemicals didn't work ...and not only could we not use our washer, our kitchen sink had backed up. Having paid for the service that didn't work, we were not happy with the outcome, so I emailed Splash via their website. The next morning, I got a call from Dan, the owner. Hearing that the sink had backed up led him to believe the problem was elsewhere in our line. He wanted an opportunity to try a different approach and sent a couple of technicians out. By noon we were clog-free. These guys spent a good 2+ hours routing our system, and eliminated a giant, rock solid clog. There was a nominal charge for the additional labor, but I will tell you it was nothing compared to the effort and time these guys put into this job. Dan did right by us, and we are thankful. He was sincere in his interest to find a solution for our plumbing problem. Even though, I was not happy with the original outcome, he was polite, professional, and determined to work with us to see the job through successfully. It is, after all, sometimes a process to get to the right answer. We will absolutely call Splash in the future ...and we highly recommend this plumbing service to everyone. They're honest ...they know what they're doing ...great to work with ...and they earn your business and trust. read more

I have used Splash to do my backflow device testing for the last 3 years and found them to be completely competent and professional. I simply made a call and e-mailed the form that the water district sent me. They take care of the rest and do so at a very reasonable price. High quality work and customer service. I've hired them a few times and the guys are always cool and teach me along the way. I knocked off one start just because the price is pretty steep. For example, I recently had 45 minutes of plumbing work done on a weekend and it was about $300. Only $27 of that was for parts, so the majority was for showing up and less than one hour of labor. Our great experience with service technician CORY DAVIS started pleasantly and finished stronger, and we highly recommend Cory and Splash for any plumbing needs. We came home from an early-morning appointment and found Cory had just arrived, ready to work -- no waiting on our part. Cory was there to replace a broken commode with a new one we'd ordered, and it turned out we unwittingly made his job more difficult; it turned out to be much heavier a unit than most others, with a more complex mechanism, and the install was more challenging than he normally deals with due to some design issues in our bathroom. He handled all these things with ease and a very nice disposition, explaining the issues with patience (certainly NOT with any amount of frustration or negativity, though we wouldn't have minded -- he just doesn't seem to be anything but professional). I would guess most calls to plumbers come under less-than-ideal circumstances -- leaks, broken equipment, etc. -- but we got the impression Splash and Cory are able to handle such things in a way that puts customers at ease. I was very impressed with Splash and their technicians. We had a slab leak and Ben, Daniel and Juan came out and fixed the problem for us. They were extremely professional and explained exactly what they were doing throughout to process. They certainly had the expertise and sophisticated testing equipment that the job needed. All three men were patient (I asked a lot of questions) and easy to work with. They arrived in mid afternoon and stayed until almost 8 pm until everything was finished and cleaned up. In short - Splash's service and work was excellent along with their price. I found them to be honest, hardworking and truly fairly price. The fact that they guarantee their work as Splash does, was also a real plus. They certainly know what they are doing and have my highest recommendation.
