Cute space with decent selection of drinks and eclectic crowd. Music wasn't bad either and folks were very welcoming.

I love the patio upstairs, you can smoke (which I wish they banned), because it is so packed and drunk people with cigarettes is all bad!

There was plenty of seating and the whole 2nd floor was booked up. Came back here for my grandma's service lunch on the 2nd floor once again in November 2025 and it was a great experience. We parked across the street in a parking lot for $10 which wasn't too bad at all. Upon arriving, the employee greeted us and we walked up the stairs to the 2nd floor. At the time, the Loft wasn't open to the public. There were two long tables for everyone with a DJ stand and that's where my family held our speeches. After the speeches, we enjoyed their food which was really good. There was plenty of food and I filled up my plate generously. The appetizers were crispy calamari, cheese platter, roast artichokes, steak bites, caesar salad. Entrees were pesto salmon, smoked salmon rotini, vegetarian penne, chicken marsala, grilled pork tenderloin. With sides of basmati rice, garlic mashed potatoes, sauteed vegetable medley. Dessert we had NY Cheesecake, white chocolate creme brulee. I would recommend this place for holiday parties, work events and family gatherings. Not sure of how good the rate was but my dad said the owner was very communicative and helpful to coordinate.

When it comes to any business that sells and/or serves alcohol, nothing, and I mean NOTHING,…read morecompares to a British and/or Irish pub. St Stephen's Green is an Irish pub that is a Mountain View mainstay and institution. It's been here for a long time, and it's a great place to drink a pint, munch on some food and shoot the breeze with friends. We decided to haul ass down here for the USA vs. Belgium World Cup match. Presently, for World Cup reservations, they have to be made at least 12 hours in advance and are $50/person (which you can redeem for drinks and food on the day of your reservation). We got here fairly early and sat in some free seats near the front entrance. Before long, the place was a zoo, but it didn't matter. The atmosphere and camaraderie were still electric. Despite the atrocity of a loss by team USA, great fun was still had. Their menu, I should note, is extensive with a number of both Irish and non-Irish food and drinks. On my visit, I started with a simple club soda which progressed to a glass of Guinness beer and some Guinness beer cheese pretzels which I split with my friends. The pretzels and the accompanying sauce were delicious. The club soda and Guinness were as good as can be had anywhere. Prices, admittedly, are not the cheapest here though. For two club sodas, two Guinness beers, and one order of the beer cheese pretzels, the total bill (without tip) came to approx. $47-48. Service was good but could have been a little bit more organized. When I was closing my tab, my server ran off just as I began to sign my receipt, and I was unable to get a copy for myself. Not a huge deal I suppose as the pub was awash with patrons on the inside and outside. But I will say this: When I made a few phone calls a day or two before to ask a few questions about reservations and seating, each person I spoke to on the phone was really friendly and answered my questions clearly and with no hesitation or confusion. Some might think that such an experience like that isn't too remarkable, but, in a day and age of picking up the phone and talking to a computer and/or having to deal with poor customer service, this was a breath of fresh air. For those who plan to come for the remaining World Cup matches, if you do NOT have a reservation, be sure to walk around and see if there are any available tables (both inside and outside) that do NOT have a sign saying "reserved." If you're lucky to find one, you can sit there. If the table is indeed reserved, you can't sit there unless the amount of chairs at that table is greater than the amount of people for whom the table is reserved (which is noted on tables that are reserved.) There are a number of free seats up front that are first come, first served (which is where we sat), but they do NOT allow you to save seats for others. So I highly recommend that, if you plan to meet up with others, you arrive TOGETHER and EARLY. They recommended that we arrive at least one hour before the match started, which is great advice and served us well. Overall, if you're looking for a solid Irish pub in the South Bay, I highly recommend Green. 4 stars

They have a happy hour too and super happy hour so things are a bit cheaper. Classic place and I'm glad that nothing has changed.

It was Father's Day weekend and we decided to check them out. We made reservations and arrived on a Saturday early evening for dinner. The restaurant is located in Los Gatos along side the highway 17 towards Santa Cruz. Parking is accessible out front in the parking lot. From the outside, the restaurant looks like an old western saloon. As soon as you walk towards the entrance, there a patio with plenty of tables that looks inviting. Inside to your left is the bar with plenty of bar stools and a stage area where the live bands perform. The decor is rustic and historic. We chose the AYCE BBQ menu along with a glass of Chardonnay and a glass of Cats American whisky. It's rare for Texas BBQ to be offered as an AYCE so we were excited to try this. All the dishes were delicious. Some of the standout favorites I enjoyed were the cinnamon cornbread, brisket Sisig, St Louis Ribs, and the lumpia. The cornbread was soft, sweet, and moist. Brisket Sisig was different in a good way with grilled onions and tender brisket. Ribs were juicy. Lumpia was crunchy and was complemented perfectly with the mango chili sauce. Our drinks were refreshing. Overall we enjoyed our experience at the Cats Restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I found the price to be fair especially for AYCE Texas BBQ. The vibe was bustling and welcoming. Unfortunately we did not hear the live band that was gonna perform since we had to leave to our next engagement. My only gripe was the entrance back to the freeway can be a little hard especially at night and if you have to go on highway 17 towards San Jose. I do hope to come back to bring other family and friends.

I made a reservation over the phone since their online booking page was down but I called to confirm the day of and they didn't have my name but they were able to put my name down still. Brunch is $29.95 for all you can eat. The selection itself is pretty small, there were two salads, some pancit, the lumpia seemed overcooked as it was dry, 2 types of meats, ribs, mashed potatoes that tastes like instant mash, and cornbread. I think the cornbread was probably the highlight of my meal as the other items were just kind of flavorless and uninspiring. They seem understaffed though, there was one person that was taking orders and one person refilling water for all tables. We ordered some drinks when we first sat down that didn't come until after we were done eating. Turns out the guy thats taking orders is also doing all the drinks and that just seems super inefficient. The other person is just constantly refilling waters but not doing anything else. Overall, i think one time here is enough unless they update their menu and make meals that are done better. I'm happy to pay a higher price for it but this meal wasn't worth the calories.
