My mom and I came here for dinner while visiting out of state and we loved it! I ordered the LOMO Saltado dish (without the egg) and my mom ordered the spicy pork noodles and they were both packed with delicious flavor!! I would highly recommend both! I also ordered the Maui-Z cocktail which was very unique and amazing! I don't usually love spicy cocktails, but the peppered infused vodka was a subtle enough spice that added a fun flare! The restaurant was a bit more on the casual side (there aren't servers that come to your table & you bus your own table after), but the decor, ambiance and music was very stylish! This was possibly the best meal I've ever had *no hyperbole* and it's in Bend, OR - who'd a thunk it?!?! We tried 6-7 dishes and were blown away by all of them, and we ate everything! Do love the american/latin/asian or whatever floats your boat fusion. Fun interesting choices and most that i've tried have been really tasty. Husbands favorite: spicy fried chicken, which is definitely spicy -- be warned. Personal favorite: carnitas sando. The sando has a hearty bun w/ a slightly toasted crunch, but it's not so hard that it cuts your gums or scrapes the roof of your mouth; the carnitas is juicy and flavorful; the fried egg adds great texture and flavor; the yuka chips and veggies add crunch and a little zing of bitter/sour. Mmmm. The place is casual dining w/ eclectic, yet delightful decor. I love the stainless steel water cups, real silverware, glass bottles of water. Way to cut down on waste. Reasons it doesn't get 5 stars: - It gets fairly crowded which can lead to long wait times and a hard time finding seats. This is especially tricky when bringing littles along who don't really do queues in the first place. - Sometimes the staff isn't overly friendly and acts like they are doing you a favor by taking your order and allowing you to eat their food. read more

Mexican, Asian, soul, fusion? Even after reading the online menu we couldn't imagine it so we had to go. Order at the counter, sit outside or inside; one is loud-ish eclectic music, the other is traffic. It didn't matter, we were hungry! Chicken tacos small but stuffed with mea. Steak salad, for my colleague who doesn't eat "unusual food" disappeared and whatever my other pal had with the egg on top was consumed in its entirety setting a land-speed record that involved little chewing. Loved the serve yourself cold water, either in shiny small metal cups, larger mason jars or a."carafe" from recycled wine bottles! Service was speedy which we didnt expect and appreciated. My office is upstairs from Spork and I eat their food several times each month. It's fresh and creative. I never get tired of it. My office manager orders for me by just picking the next item on their menu because every single thing is excellent. The folks who run it and work there are the hardest workers you'll ever see. They are super friendly and incredibly conscientious about the health of their customers and coworkers. The takeout is fantastic and so is the outdoor seating out front and now in their parking lot. But I'm really looking forward to a full reopening when that becomes safe. read more

We were told to try this place by multiple locals and tourists. We have been there twice now and are seriously impressed that they can have a mexican and asian infusion restaurant that is really good. I like their menu set up and what they offer and put their efforts into. Korean bbq, tacos, salads etc. They have the flavors which is key. The quality is good, pricing is decent and the portions are perfect. The seating is good and I like that you just order at the front. The workers there always seem to be unimpressed with being at work and so you don't get much from them when you ask questions. Parking can be hard if you don't get in the lot behind the restaurant. All in all though, I will continue to come back to this place when we are in town. read more

Spork is one of my favorite places to eat in Bend. Really casual, relaxed ambiance, and delicious food selection! In my opinion, it's best to eat family style at Spork so you're able to get all the amazing and different flavors they offer. There were six of us when we went and we got six dishes to split! EVERYTHING was good. I often say it's Asian-Mexican fusion, but regardless, the food here is great. They offer take out and a nice beer / kombucha selection on tap. Loved the Asian Mexican fusion dishes with a smorgasbord of flavors. We particularly loved the Pozole Rojo, the Lomo Saltado, and the tacos. While I've been to Spork before and enjoyed it, unfortunately my last visit will make me think twice about going back. Ordered the peanut curry (as usual) except this time around much of the ingredients were burned (or shall I say blackened). I get it, food gets burned in a busy kitchen, but for a meal that is prepared in bulk I'd imagine it's worth the effort to recook the veggies so they are not burned. Sure when you throw in enough curry and spices it will mask the burned taste. That said, consuming $15 charcoalized veggies are not on my to do list. With so many other amazing places to dine in Bend, Spork won't be on the top of my list of places to eat in Bend anytime soon. Note: Heads up when you check out, Spork assumes that you want to give a 15% tip and have their Square app pre-set to this amount. Not quite a five. Rates a 4-1/2. Very good and fresh food, and no soggy burritos or cheap beans and rice. The dark ale I had was unimpressive, but the vinegar drink my wife had was outstanding. The only negative was the expected tipping, which they proudly proclaim is split amongst the crew. I don't tip for self-service food, and splitting a tip pot amongst a crew is the very antithesis of the competition tipping should engender to make your service the best it can be. read more

What a find! We were passing through Bend on our way to a camping trip and stumbled across Spork. We had our dog in tow and were looking for a quick lunch and outdoor seating, so from outward appearances - it seemed to fit the bill. But boy did we luck out!
