My experience here was incredible! I made a reservation for my friend and I and we were seated right away. Service was very friendly and attentive. They had a lovely selection of mocktails, but we opted to bring a bottle of wine. We sat at the bar, which was beautiful and open feeling. We ordered three things to share and couldn't pick a favorite! The octopus was tender and flavorful, the ninja roll was gigantic, and the salmon tartare special was so fresh! We were too full for dessert, but next time I'll have to save room. I cannot wait to come back!

Just had another delicious meal here pleasant atmosphere delicious top-notch food and great ambience. The blackfish special was perfect The gnocchi was delicious and I believe they have the best sushi I've ever had anywhere. And they serve clams on the half shell properly with the wine like sauce, cocktail sauce, horseradish, and lemons. So many restaurants just don't get that right. Staff was super professional and super friendly from the three hostesses to Becky the manager and Kristen our waitress all great can't wait to go back. Made my wife's Mother's Day special.

We went to Spring Lake, NJ for the first time.....it's a hidden jewel on the Jersey shore. Spring Lake Seafood is the jewel in Spring Lake, but it's definitely not hidden. Whenever we drove through the little village of Spring Lake, there was one establishment that always had a crowd - Spring Lake Seafood - it was the 'happening place'. We had dinner there and found out why. We shared the Caesar Salad - it was large leaves of Romaine, with breadcrumbs, capers and Parmesan cheese. It was good. Next, the two entree's shared were the Lobster Roll and the Crab cake. I started with the Lobster Roll - it was scrumptious! Fresh, tender pieces of lobster, on a buttery brioche roll....I had to finish it before I started the Crab cake! However, was I saving the best for last? I took my first bite of the Crab cake, and was startled. I lived in Maryland for 30 years and became part of the 'crab cult'. I hadn't had a Crab cake, which had no filler, in quite some time...until this evening! What a delightful surprise, the cake was perfectly fried and the crab filling was superb! We finished with the Key Lime Pie, which we were told is made at a local bakery. The Key Lime topping was creamy, sweet and tart, with a nice citrusy taste. However, the crust was too thick and chewy, instead of being light and having a crisp bite. The pie could have used twice the topping and half the crust. Spring Lake, NJ is a must go if you're considering a trip to the Jersey shore....and Spring Lake Seafood is a must go if you're considering going to Spring Lake!

By far our favorite restaurant in Spring Lake! Casual but nice ambiance, excellent service, and everything we've ever ordered is excellent. Our favorites are the spicy tuna pizza (spicy tuna crispy rice with spicy mayo, wasabi, and eel sauce), the ahi tuna, and the banana bread pudding. It's one of those places that you can't order "wrong." The sushi is so fresh, and we've enjoyed both the specialty rolls and the nigiri flights. It's BYOB, but they also have a small selection of wine. They also have a nice list of interesting mocktails. A reservation is needed, especially on the weekends. Looking forward to eating on the patio during the summer months!

Excellent meal for any seafood lover! Oysters were flavorful and plump. I savored every bite of the bluefin tuna flight, it was so fresh and delicious. Crab cakes were the best I've ever had. It was ALL crab meat, no fillers! With a perfectly crispy crust. Unfortunately we did not save room for dessert. BYOB was a huge plus, though the sober bar sounds delicious. Nautical touches all throughout the restaurant which made for a great ambiance. The restaurant was nicely lit as well, which is refreshing to see! Highly recommend!

Super friendly server, she was very pleasant, nice conversation. We both shared amazing oysters, so fresh and plump. Also both had the haddock sandwich, very nice portion and delicious. A very cozy restaurant, I highly recommend it.

Amazing lunch! I had the shrimp burger and it was delicious. So unique compared to what I'm used to. I loved their homemade root beer. Our waitress was fabulous and the entire restaurant had a good vibe. I enjoyed the ambiance of the decor. 10/10

We had an amazing lunch date at Spring Lake Seafood after a beach day. Place is clean, cute and cozy. Pretty coastal decor. Service was fabulous. We had servers switched mid shift and we couldn't be happier with both of them. They made a great suggestions, were attentive and available. We started with Prince Edward Island Oysters followed by fluke ceviche. Both amazing. For a main course we had fish tacos and fish & chips. I have never had tastier battered fish. Looked like it was painted on. Many times all you can taste is the coating. This one didn't disappoint. Ended lunch date with delicious key lime pie and blueberries custard pie. I would highly recommend this establishment. We couldn't wait to go back before we even left

What a wonderful meal and overall experience at Spring Lake Seafood. The property itself is beautifully detailed; a stunning yet relaxing and enjoyable space. The food was phenomenal. Incredibly fresh and creative dishes, well prepared with good depth of flavor, without trying too hard. Everything hit the mark well. We started with a salad course, I had the Bibb salad, which was delicious with fuji apples, candied walnuts, goat cheese champagne vinaigrette. Pretty sure the candied walnuts were made in-house, they had the perfect amount of crunch! My wife had the caesar, again spot on yummy salad. I walked past the service counter and saw they have a DRY AGER for their TUNA, which I have NEVER seen in a seafood restaurant. I'm a huge fan of dry aged beef, so seeing this put a big smile on my face. This place nerds out on the little touches, I love that. I got the bluefin tuna flight to sample the tuna and I will tell you it's the best tuna sushi I've ever had, so so good. Our main course we got crabcakes, and again they did top notch work. They used a remoulade that I've only ever had similar to (and have sought out since) at Del Frisco's but with less spice. I usually prefer broiled, but the crabcake had a perfect crust that didn't take away from the overall texture of the generous lump inside. They came paired with fingerling potatoes with a light sautee, and these brussel sprouts with this very unique sour citrus spicy flavor profile that I really enjoyed, full of flavor. Brad and Lula have a winner on their hands. Simply put, Spring Lake seafood is a 10/10, just go and you'll be blown away!

Really cute restaurant and quite busy on a Friday night! It is BYOB but they have some wines on the menu. We made a reservation just in case and to avoid any potential wait. They have a small bar, some booth seating, mostly tables. I will mention that it gets quite loud and it does feel like you have to shout to the people you're sitting with. We ordered the ninja roll as an appetizer, this was the star of the meal. I ordered the bolognese which was tasty. Their pasta tasted homemade and was a little on the softer side (not my preference but not bad). The bolognese and chicken tenders and fries both needed more salt, more of a preference thing since some people might not like a lot of salt. Overall, very cute and I would love to come back for more sushi!

Lobster roll with sub side salad
    Dominique S.

My husband and I split the ninja sushi roll to start which was delicious. We then both ordered the hot lobster roll. I paid for the substitution of a salad in place of the fries. The side salad was tasty with a sprinkling of breadcrumbs on the top and crunchy capers. My husband got the fries that come with the sandwich which were good. The lobster roll itself was good, but we have had better. Overall, we liked the meal and felt like the menu had a lot of good options. It took a very long time for the food to come out. Also it's a BYOB. We only had water to drink but noticed the rim on the glass bottle they provided was moldy. When we pointed it out to the sever she gave us a fresh one but it was also in need of a cleaning.

Made a reservation at spring lake seafood for date night. It has a cute nautical vibe. I could see them being insanely busy during the summer. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. We got the tuna pizza - amazing. The sushi was so fresh. I also ordered the ricotta cavatelli - perfectly spicy. Ugh so good. If you're craving seafood, this is a definite place to try.

Wow, this place exceeded my expectations. Service was excellent. Our server, Brody, was really knowledgeable and friendly. The food was just incredible and the portions are not stingy. I find most places tend to skimp on the seafood dishes, but not here. Finally a place that offers decent portions of quality seafood. Drinks: They offer a limited selection of bottles of wine, otherwise you can BYOB. Food: We loved every bite. All the fish was fresh and tasty. The tuna pizza is basically a round crispy spicy tuna, it was so good. The Bibb salad is simple and full of flavor. We had a special spicy lobster roll that was fresh and flavorful. I had the butterfly black sea bass and it was cooked to perfection. I also really like that they cook it in butter and not in vegetable oil. You can taste that they use quality ingredients here. He got the ahi tuna and really enjoyed it. The soba noodles were so yummy. Definitely plan to come back here.

Recommend the lobster roll. Understaffed wait staff made for longer wait times. Fries came out lukewarm.

Plenty of sandwiches on the menu, drinks, chips, cold cuts, ready to make pasta.... what more is there to ask. And a limited frills experience too. We ordered the Princetonian & Casey between the two of us. Also got a bag of mango habanero chips & freshly squeezed orange juice. When you pay, you get a pager to let you know when your food is ready. Because it's the summer, expect a little wait, but not terribly long. There's plenty of seating outside if you don't want to sit indoors. There's just a couple of tables near the front door. I'm not the biggest fan of wraps (my girl is), but the Casey was pretty good. The breaded eggplant makes it good. It does come apart pretty easily so be slightly warned. The Princetonian was pretty good. Just keep in mind it's not a hot sub, but the veggies are all fresh. The mushrooms were super good. At $11 for the wrap & sandwich each, that's not a bad deal.

The ordering process was simple, and the food was ready quickly. I had a chicken salad on a garlic bagel ($8.99?) as well as trying six mini donuts ($7.50?). The chicken salad also came with a potato salad, coleslaw, or a pickle. I opted for a pickle that was decent. The chicken salad was the highlight of the sandwich. It was all white meat with an ideal helping of mayonnaise and other seasoning. The garlic bagel was alright, nice texture, but a little small. It was nice to see the amount of chicken salad present. The donuts I tried are below. All the donuts were light. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough - This was alright. It seemed to be more of a chocolate flavor rather than cookie dough. There was not a great balance here. Strawberry Shortcake - This was a vanilla donut with buttercream icing and a strawberry. I thought the buttercream icing would be too sweet, but that was not the case at all. It was delicate and complimented the lone strawberry piece nicely. Apple Crumb Cake - This was an apple crunch donut with rolled sugar and topped with apple compete, homemade graham cracker pie crust and drizzled with vanilla frosting. This was easily the best one. The warm apple complete and the homemade graham cracker crust made for an unbelievable combination. The sugar did not hurt either. Oreo Crunch - This was essentially just Oreo pieces with vanilla icing. It was not bad. I thought there were too many Oreo crumbles and pieces. The donut layer was hardly tasted. Maple Bacon Waffle - This was a vanilla donut in a maple glaze with a mini waffle and bacon pieces. I am not a huge fan of bacon on a donut, but this one of the better ones I tried. The bacon went well with the waffle and maple glaze. My only issue was the waffle. It was a little stale, but I imagine because it just lays on the donut as it was not made to order. Jelly - This was a traditional jelly donut with sugar. This was good. The jelly was thick and enough was present where every bite had a taste of jelly. The jelly I believe was of the raspberry variety. Will I go back? Yes.

Nice place and seemed like people but 1 star for not giving us center cut. Drew's was not trustworthy in looking out for the consumer experience. These were for a birthday dinner so very disappointing. Have you ever wondered why a steak can sometimes be cut with a fork, requiring almost no effort to enjoy, while others demand a bit of a workout for your jaw? The secret often lies in a specific section of the beef tenderloin known as the center cut. When you sit down at a high-end steakhouse or prepare a luxury meal at home, the term "filet mignon" is frequently used, but the "center cut" is the true gold standard within that category. It is the portion of the meat that professional chefs prize above all others for its symmetry, its lean profile, and its legendary, buttery texture. Anything pieced together with a string is not center cut.
