Came here with friends and two young kids. All said their meals were delicious! I ordered a veggie scramble and added sausage (which I'm glad because that was the best part). The wait staff was friendly and hustling, but we never had to wait too long for anything. We did have to remind them of an English muffin, but it wasn't an issue at all. I'd definitely recommend. Came here for breakfast with my daughter and there were literally 3 other tables of customers. Our waitress was horrible. We waited and waited for her to even take our order let alone deliver us a drink. When she brought our food, that was the last we saw of her. She sat at the reception desk on her phone. We had to ask the other waiter to get us a to go box and then finally went up to the reception area to retrieve our check from the waitress on her phone. She never looked up. We gave her the money for the bill and left. The food was not bad but she ruined it for us. We will never go back. read more

After our disappointment yesterday at Joe's, this cute homey restaurant was delightful. We were seated right away and served quickly. The food was warm and yummy. We had the eggs Benedict (a bit on the heavy side) and the low cholesterol oatmeal breakfast that was generous proportions of both fruit and oatmeal. We were visiting the town with the folks for the annual Vine Street Victorian Showcase, and honestly, a big part of the reason why I chose this restaurant for dinner was its proximity to the action. I was a little concerned that the reviews focused on breakfast, but needn't have worried - it was just a lovely experience start to finish. The setting is so warm and welcoming, Christmas decorations were up, they set us at a table by the fireplace, the service was professional and considerate, and the meal - good wine and the best pasta I've had in ages (if ever). We all raved about it then and continue to - in fact dinner here followed by a stroll down Vine Street made for a perfect holiday memory I'm sure we'll be talking about for years. read more

Fabulous breakfast on 10-8-2013. We ordered the Honey Oat Pancakes and Veggie Omlet. The pancakes were about the best I've ever had. The omlet was packed full of the freshest veggies, and came with a side of yummy, house made salsa. The potatoes were really good, too. Nothing had that greasy feel, and I liked that the omlet wasn't dripping in cheese and grease. I will definitely return next time I'm in Paso. read more

Upon arrival, I was very excited to see mimosas around the room. However, my boyfriend and I were not even greeted. Waited for 10 minutes to only be stared at by the Hostess. Decided to see how everything was going to pan out. Perhaps, we just didn't hear the hostess greet us as we were very deep in conversation...that was not the case. A group of four comes in, gets greeted and were informed only about a five minute wait. That's when my boyfriend to calmly ask why we were overlooked...With panicked look on the servers face he quickly told a busser to clean the table, immediately. They tried to save their ass by saying that they were, "saving a seat by the window for us." Such BullSh*t! Never BS a bullsh*tter. The service started to change once we were seated, but we felt like it only changed due to the fact that the server may have been the manager. The food was decent, the mimosas were great because you were allowed to make your own. My boyfriend and I have both been in the service industry and we have never been treated so poorly(a hello right when we come in usually makes or breaks the dining experience) and the service only got better (like I said, because I am about 99% sure the server was the manager.) My boyfriend and I were on vacation and were treated very well up until then. Luckily, our day got better but I definitely would NOT recommend this place. The only reason why I enjoyed it was the mimosa and that's because I could make it myself. So, if you want decent food and not wonderful service go there, otherwise, I say skip it. So disappointing, especially because I originally was incredibly SO excited to try this place. read more

We've been here for dinner a number of times and we have never been disappointed. This restaurant was listed in the breakfast and lunch category but dinner is excellent as well. We had a mushroom soup with dinner that was unbelievable. My wife had the seabass with saffron sauce and I had porkchops with mushroom and onion in a madiera reduction. I truly recommend Sprinside Restaurant. My husband had the Spinach and Mushroom Omelet. It was cooked to perfection. Pancakes were thick and well cooked and the bacon was crispy but not overcooked. The best hidden secret in Paso! We have eaten dinner here many times and have always enjoyed our meals! The grilled Salmon with dill butter sauce, the rib eye, the Chipino (when available), the stroganoff, actually everything we have eaten there is EXCELLANT!! The prices are resonable, too! We visit Paso Robles at least once per year usually more often. We usually eat at the same place, this trip we tried two different places. We have been to a few restaurants that have been at this location and actually preferred one of a previous owner. The service was friendly but a bit slow as the restaurant wasn't busy. I ordered the breakfast burrito which was outstanding and a Mimosa which was also nice. I would order the burrito again. My husband had pancakes that were huge in size but lacking in flavor. He wasn't happy. He did enjoy the bacon. We thought the prices were a little high compared to another place we had tried the day before and loved. If I could convince my husband to revisit I would just for the burrito! The place was clean as were the restrooms. read more

We were a party of 10 last Saturday night. They were very accommodating when we had to delay our arrival by 45 minutes due to the 1st Saturday event at Studios on the Park. I had jambalaya that was excellent, everyone enjoyed their meals. Wine selection & prices were reasonable while not being of the caliber of the downtown restaurants. The food was every bit as good though, and the entree prices were much lower. I hope they get some support as I don't want to lose them! read more
