My friend and i were scoping midtown out for some vegetarian friendly options. First choice was Proof Pizza, but since the line was out the door, spris was our next option. In a nutshell, I was not overly impressed. The cashier seemed a bit impatient. And the chicken on my mango salad was very dry. Even my veggie friend commented on how dry it looked. Pretty decent pizza. Spris is a casual order-at-the-counter place that aspires to serve pizza with a bit more of an upscale vibe. I had a pizza with portabello mushrooms, burrata, and truffle oil. All of my toppings were plunked down in the center of the pizza, and not evenly spread across the pizza. This unfortunately meant that the center of the pizza was a bit on the soggy side. And also that much of the pizza was basically plain cheese. I attacked with fork and knife to sort of spread out the toppings a bit. It ended up decent. I'm not disappointed, but neither will I be hustling to get back here. read more

I'm not a pizza person (please don't judge me) but theirs is deliciously thin, crisp and flavorful that I've been craving to come back. They have a happy hour special where you pay by the time you arrive, ie 6:15pm costs you only $6.15 -- however they offer this on only three pizzas on their menu, and not the popular ones I'd guess. I am a pizza lover and we found another cool place to enjoy it! Seems we moved to Mia, I had only one place that surprised me... now it's the second one! Pizza here is incredible! My friends are vegetarian, so we ordered two no-meet pizzas . They have a very good choice of it! The flour was super skinny and a little bit crunchy and the top was in perfect combination! I forgot the name, but mostly we liked pizza with the pesto sauce ! Service was also on high level, very nice waiters. I came to this area since I had a few hours to kill before going to the Fort Lauderdale airport. I decided to rent a car and had lunch here. It was an alright place with decent pizza. We got the carbonara and some spicy meat pizza (forgot the name). The pizza was pretty thin but a good size. We got one small and one larger pizza to feed four adults comfortably. Pricing wasn't cheap but not expensive either. I'm not sure it was that memorable or unique for me to come back if I lived in the area, but was decent enough for our needs at the time. read more

Overpriced for what it is. Even during their happy hour, one regular pizza, a drink and a salad was $15. The pizza was thin and pretty flavorless (I ordered a Margherita) and the salad was pretty much just romaine in a container. I just think for these prices, they can do a lot better, especially considering the nearby competition. This was not my first visit to this restaurant, but I never remember to write the review and I have always eaten the delicious food before I have a chance to take a photo, today was no exception on the photo! I love this spot, the food is always fresh and excellent and the service is always super. We split the Alba pizza and the chicken and brie panini. We couldn't finish the food and ended up taking half the sandwich home. The pizza was fabulous, I really was to stuffed to finish it, but forced myself any way. We sat outside, the place is casual and friendly and clean and the plants and lights are a lovely touch. The service was fabulous. During covid they were doing amazing. Now the delivery service does not work. 1:15 min and the pizza did not arrive. We called and the person that answer the phone said the pizza was ready seating there for 20 min but no body brought it. Very bad service. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. This is the best pizza I've had in a really, really long time. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the wait staff is very attentive and the food can't be beat. I highly recommend pairing your pizza with either their French craft beer, La Cadette or the Monk in the Trunk they offer. We got the Genovese and the Margarita to share and it reminded me so much of the pizza I've had in Europe. Quality ingredients, simply made, and a focus on the pizza not on the toppings trying to hide the low quality sauce or cheese. The pizza was amazing! We had the the Originale Bruschetta and the Taleggio, Radicchio, Speck pizza. The Bruschetta was okay, but the pizza was amazing. What was horrible was the service! We had to ask 4 times for a glass for wine, the staff didn't bring a bucket with ice for the wine until it was 3/4 empty and the waitress never came to the table. We had to ask for her to bring us the check about 20 minutes after being done with our meal. I would eat there again because the food is great, but probably take the food to go or sit in a different section. read more

I first tried Spris at a Yelp event in Downtown and was disappointed over and over again about it not opening on weekends. I was never able to make it before they closed during the week so I was very excited when I ran into their midtown location! Without knowing, I made ir to their Beat the Clock special and enjoyed an amazingly well done Margherita pizza for 6 bucks! There was no way I would leave before having the Nutellino as well. I happen to be in my nutella pizza phase and this has got to be one of my favorites out there! Best believe I'll be back rather sooner than later. read more

Now maybe this can be chalked up to being new or you might wanna chalk it up to being Christmas Eve afternoon. Either way I was pretty aggravated. I called in an order to pick up. I love their spinach salad and wanted a pizza as well. The girl on the phone said 10 minutes. Now I have been to Spris on the beach and know that this is possible. I left my place and got there and paid. It turns out the pizza wasn't even in the oven yet. It seems like the pizza guys messed up the pizza and they had to start a new one. Ok - this place is new whatever. It would have been nice for the manager to mention something - apologize, offer a discount for next time, wish me a Merry Christmas (or a Happy Holidays) - but no, nothing. Here is your food - see ya. Honestly I would much rather have had my pizza ready to go so I could be in and out and home enjoying my food. I don't need that other stuff but if you screw up I think you should own up to it. Anyway after standing around for 15 minutes I finally got my pizza and was off. The food was fine and the spinach salad was as good as I remember, but I can't deal with the ineptitude. Love the pizza here. The lasagna is also great. The salads are usually awesome too but this is the first time that "Marco Polo" really let me down, it is I usually my "go to" salad here. The Caesar salad is usually pretty decent. You can't go wrong with any of the pizzas. Reminder, you can't order off of the "TiramesU" restaurants' menu anymore because it is no longer next door so do not plan for that. read more
