I'll leave the one star because the calamari was good.... is this place under new ownership? the servers did nothing but stare at us when we walked in and the whole time we were eating and one of them was looking pervertly at every women in the room. We came here on a Saturday afternoon after wine tasting. There was no wait to be seated and our host offered the option of sitting us down where we wanted. Our waiter was great he offered recommendations and gave us suggestions. He was accommodating to my food allergies and when the plate came out with mushrooms he took it back and brought out a mushroom less one. The chicken wings were good and spicy. I wasn't a huge fan of the garlic bread but my friend loved it. We ordered a pasta dish with sundried tomatoes and chicken and it was to die for. It's not a fancy spot but it's a spot you won't want to miss. read more

This place is so good but the management is TERRIBLE and I mean terrible. There needs to be something done from the GM Ismael. He is so incredibly disrespectful to his workers and makes them cry. CRY. For workers to cry in front of customers due to the manager yelling at them is absolutely unacceptable. There needs to be something done. Tried this place tonight. The hubby got a pepperoni pizza and I got the pasta dish that has the sun dried tomatoes.. upon entering we were greeted by a nice waitress that offered us a table in the back corner since there were 6 of us.. and two are babies.. but then someone else sat there. A man, I think the owner came by then I asked him about it and he said, "did you sign in?" We did not the lady did not tell us that.. very awkward. Fast forward to the service. Our waiter was fantastic but everyone else we encountered was not. Now the food. My pasta had lots of sauce which I like... but it was ok.. 7/10. The pizza was soggy not very crunchy... and there was not enough cheese. We also ordered cheesy garlic bread.. that was also undercooked and not crunchy.. we will not be adding this place to our rotation or returning. But we enjoyed trying something new. read more

Spuntino Pizzeria is just a stone throw from our house. The English translation for Spuntino is snack. The dishes served here are much more than a snack, they are a meal. Today we decided to try their panini subs. I opted for the large Italian Spicy Sub and my wife ordered the small Caprese Sub. Both subs came with a pasta salad. The bread is toasted in the press, crunchy and very delicious. The ingredients inside the subs were fresh and extremely tasty. We loved the sandwiches and the pasta salad was a treat as well. The dressing was oh so garlicky and pasta was done just right. Prices are fair: $12 for the large Italian sub and $11 for the small Caprese sub. As you can tell by the pictures, both versions were of good size. Service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is very pleasant and comfortable. We learned they have 3 other restaurants as well as a winery. Spuntino Pizzeria is wonderful restaurant and very convenient to us as it is perhaps 3/4 mile from our house. We will be back! read more

We stopped here on Labor Day because I was craving pizza. So happy we did. We had the meat lovers pizza and the antipasto salad. Both were fantastic!! As great as the food was, the service was even better. Our waitress Ariel was the only server there and she was running the whole time. Despite how busy she was, she always had a smile on her face. In addition to Ariel we saw that Joe and Waldo would help her out with delivering food or bussing tables all smiles as well. Fantastic teamwork! We will definitely return for the food but even more so with the hope of being able to interact with Ariel once again. read more

The place has terrible service for being an established restaurant in Temecula. First, how does an Italian restaurant have a list of pasta on a menu and then tell customers "were out of pasta". Ok, so I ordered a pizza..... waited 20 mins "your pizza will be right out"....... 45 minutes later, still no pizza. Great local Italian spot! We love their food! Their meat sauce pasta, homemade lasagna, pizza, calamari, antipasto salad, fried dough! Their marinara sauce is so yummy! All of it it good. We haven't tried a dish we didn't love. Just delicious all around. Reasonable prices and great for family lunch/dinner. The staff is also all really friendly. This is our go to for the past few years. When we have family out of town and they want to eat out, we take them here. It's nearby our home and we don't have to fuss with the parking or waiting too long, like we would at Old Town Temecula or the mall area. read more

The best! I love Spuntino pizzeria, although I don't go for pizza. I go for pasta and their appetizers. Something fun they has as a appetizer is the fried garlic doughs, they are super flavorful. For pasta you really really can't go wrong, I have had a couple of dishes and all 10/10 especially the ravioli. The service here is also phenomenal. Wow! We visit Temcula a quarterly and hopefully will retire here. I yelped Best Pizza restaurants. Spuntino Pizzaeria was at the top of the list. When you think of fast food. This food come out fast but it is not fast food. The chefs cook it fresh to order. The most delicious authentic pizza we have recently. The pasta and pizza blew our palets. This amazing restaurant has flags the US flag, the Italian flag and the Sicilian flag. We walked in at 6:37 and put our names on the list. Our fresh brick oven Meat Lovers Pizza & Penne Calabresa Pasta was served to us by 6:54. Our server Christy was amazing super happy and friendly. The GM Ishmael was AWESOME. He made us feel like VIP guest giving us our Reserved table! Not really, we were walk ins. The cucumber Collins and Malbec wine was delicious! I will come again to just vist the amazing bar! We are going to the family winery Poggio Leano Vineyard tomorrow to buy the Malbec wine and do a tasting. We watched locals hug the servers and shake the GM's hand. I am a teacher from LA and I have never seen any resturant honor Teacher Tuesday's. Such an Amazing restaurant. We will be visiting over and over again!
