Very good chowder and homemade ice tea! The chowder bowl comes in a softer bread bowl that was easy to eat and full of seafood! The homemade tea was just right and not bitter at all!

Service was great the staff are all so friendly. We had lunch outside it was such a nice day for it. We also had our pup. We ordered the 3pcs fish and chips as well as the chowder with a sourdough bread bowl. We also got a bandana for the pup. The fish was fried to perfection. The light crispy batter had a great crunch to it. The fries were thin crispy and not overly salty. The clam chowder was full of flavor and the clams were cooked to perfection as well not all rubbery and chewy. We will definitely make this a go to when we are in the area.

Official Opening Today, Thursday January 22, 2026. Open Thursday - Monday from 11-6. Congrats on your official opening and graduation from the successful food truck! I loved the chicken and waffle for late breakfast. The chicken was a huge half breast size over a freshly baked waffle with bacon butter. All fresh and perfectly cooked. Did you know they serve Left Coast Coffee? Yep. Best ever. Stop by - this place is going to be very popular. Plenty of parking and easy access.

During our trip to the coast, my boyfriend had planned to make a pitstop here to get some fish n' chips (what they were known for based on reviews) and it did not disappoint! We got their chicken t'sami and their lingcod fish n' chips, which went well with their sweet tea that we ordered. My boyfriend got the huckleberry sweet tea which had a sour and sweetness to it, and I got a regular sweet tea which had this really floral fragrance to it and the sweetness was just right. The fish n' chips were really good, the batter around the fish was golden and crispy, the fish was flaky and soft. So good that my boyfriend ate it while it was piping hot! The fries were perfect and crispy. The owner was so nice and brought out an aioli that tasted so good with the fries (reminded me of the animal sauce from In N' Out). The chicken t'sami was also really good, the chicken was juicy and crispy, and paired well with the pickles and slaw. The ciabatta bread was soft and everything felt so fresh. I would totally get the t'sami again. My boyfriend decided to order their clam chowder as well since that's what everyone else was raving about as well. The clam chowder did not disappoint. It was homey and perfect! We were so full and happy with our visit! They have come a long way, and we will definitely visit again

Saw this truck rated as a 5 star place with almost 200 reviews and immediately had to try it. They have some of the freshest, flakiest, hand caught halibut we've ever had and we will definitely be stopping here when we're near Salishan! There are restrooms right behind it, plenty of walking space and bags for walking your dog, and has ample parking. For the meal, I opted for the slaw in addition to the halibut sandwich and it was a citrusy palate-cleanser from the sweet fish. The pickled onions were perfect on a fish sandwich, I never thought of adding them before! My fiancé got the fish and rosemary fries and they were to die for, steaming hot and falling apart in flakes as you ate it, as well as perfectly salty. Overall, the 15 minute wait was completely reasonable and the customer service was so friendly and accommodating, we'll be back!

Their Clam chowder is superior to Mos by far. Have the chowder and the fresh baked bread bowl. Give it a try with their hot sauce. Wahoo!!! Ambience is very cute beautiful wood countertops with bar seating, The lounge area has incredible soft chairs for relaxing in and there's a foosball table. Today we were lucky enough to use the outside seating. The Staff is very polite, attentive and quick to get you what you need. Try their amazing brownies, oh and don't forget the as ice cream for dessert. Support small businesses. They are the backbone of our community.

Delicious lunch! This was our first time here, but not our last. My husband and I stopped in and both had different chicken sandwiches. They were equally delicious! The brioche roll tasted like it was freshly made, the chicken was hot and crispy, and the toppings and coleslaw were both very good. We grabbed dessert ( lemon cake and a butterscotch oatmeal cookie) on the way out. They also did not disappoint. It's a casual restaurant, but the service was great, with a very friendly staffLooking forward to going back soon to try the fish

As food trucks go, this is the best tasting seafood on the Coast! We stopped by, hoping for razor clams or halibut, but what they had was ling cod. Never mind! The cod was beautifully battered and fried and paired very well with the clam chowder. AND, don't forget to pay the bit more for the rosemary fries! The whole meal was delicious. Be prepared, though, to pay a premium price for premium food. Eating there was a treat on our day-trip visit to that section of the coast (Lincoln City to Depot Bay). read more

Best Clam Chowder Period! OK so I meant EXCLAMATION POINT...TRIPLE!!! Ok but seriously this place is definitely worth the drive...IF YOU LIVE ANYWHERE ON THIS EARTH!!! My wife and I always order from Squatchsami at least twice whenever we are in the area for more than a day. They definitely have the best Clam chowder that either of us have ever ordered anywhere. The only downside is that they are not open every day which sucks whenever we are in the area early in the week because then we're always disappointed with anything else. The food truck is only open from Friday-Sunday and limited hours or until they sell out. If you are in the central Oregon coast area on the weekend and this place is open you have to try it. You will never want chowder from anywhere else. read more

Amazing fish and chips and chowder! The chowder has the right amount of potatoes, seasoning, and lots of clams. The fish has a nice crunchy light batter and I love their thin fries. We ate here twice last weekend it was that good! The lady that takes your order is the sweetest. My mom is handicapped and she actually brought our order over to us in the car so I could stay with her. I can't wait to come back next year for their amazing food! read more

Fresh fish daily from the dockside in Newport Oregon directly to fish preparation at their truck restaurant. Fish are wonderful being fresh caught daily. When they run out of fish the restaurant closes. The Best! Thanks! read more

Tried them for lunch and went back 4 hours later for dinner. Chicken and waffles were the best we've ever had and the halibut and chips are in a toss up for the best in Oregon and we have tried a lot of places. I concur with Jon J that the halibut and coating were excellent. The chicken batter had a spice that made it worth eating by itself (but that would be bad, mostly because the chicken was tasty too). Loved it. We came here multiple times it was so good. We voted their chowder the best chowder we tasted on our trip ( we had a LOT of chowder while in Oregon). We were looking for a place to eat that was new to us as we come to Lincoln City quit a bit. After reading reviews (and menu) this sounded right up our alley. We were met by a extremely nice women who took our order. We had Chicken and waffle's and let me say...we have eaten at almost all of the "Roscoe's" in the LA area and we both agree that this was better!! On social media reviews I often read "the best I have ever had" and wonder if they have been to as many places as I have to make such a comparison .. I have travelled extensively for work and I love seafood. I can confirm that their clam chowder is "THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD" ... so much so that we bought a 32OZ container to take back home with us. Their fish & chips is hands down the tastiest in the Lincoln City area, delicious, moist, fresh & perfectly breaded with delicious rosemary fries. Top that with friendly, welcoming, efficient service and it becomes your favorite GO TO when you visiting the coast. Only regrets would be that they are available on weekends only. Look at the picture of the fish and chips on their website; that is exactly how the food looks. Hot and moist, crispy and delicious. I had the kicked-up tartar sauce; absolutely great! My wife's rosemary fries were super worth eating, as well as my standard ones. As much as we have liked the fish place up in Lincoln City, we'll be back to Squatchsami again on future trips to the coast. We've eaten Squatchsami's delicious meals several times - at Beachcrest Brewing - and every time it's melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly fried and delectable! They had fish, clam chowder and more that we did not try since my husband is allergic to fish. The owners are great people and go out of their way to make your experience great. The prawns weren't heavily battered, and the fries were crispy on the outside while still soft inside. Portions for both the chowder and entrées felt generous for the price. Service was friendly and quick. We were seated within about 5 minutes, had a little time to look over the menu, and our server came by shortly after. He gave a great recommendation for my friend's meal as well. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Saturday evening, but we got there right before the bigger dinner rush. Indoor seating filled up quickly, while the outdoor area was quieter because of the wind. Overall, it was a pleasant stop with tasty food, quick service, and a good variety of options, including drinks.

As for me, I started out with a fresh plate of Potato Chips and of course, a 3-piece order of the Halibut Fish & Chips. Everything was delicious, like before and nothing disappointed us. There was a small delay with my order--something I genuinely hadn't even noticed until the team kindly brought it to my attention. It turned out there was a simple mix‑up because I share a name with one of the employees. What truly stood out was how thoughtful and proactive everyone was once they sensed something might be off. They handled the situation with such kindness and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, even though I hadn't felt inconvenienced at all. As native Oregonians, we've eaten a lot of seafood over the years, and Squatchsami is truly something special. The restaurant was spotless, the service was friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely incredible. Everything we tried was outstanding--from the fish and chips to the fish tacos and fish burgers--but the absolute star of the show was the clam chowder. It was hands down the best clam chowder I've ever had. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly made. We can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be back. A true Oregon coast gem! read more

They are an amazing little pop up food cart, that is a great addition to the Salishan Marketplace on the weekends. They greatly complement Beach Crest Brewery....which is awesome in its own right....(cider mimosas....mmmmm). Deborah and her family are very friendly and very cool people. Their food is super yummy comfort food...especially the rosemary fries. I highly suggest anyone in the area come down, have a drink, and partake in some Squatchsami on the deck - overlooking the Salishan golf course and bay. read more

Oh my gosh...where do I even start? On a recent trip to Lincoln City we heard that we should try this new food vendor at The Shops at Salishan.
