I went here for Father's Day. My wife had made reservations a week or so ago. The place is on the South side of the casino. Just remember they smoke here and you can smell it. We got there at 5PM and there was a bunch of people outside. I didn't know they open at 5. It was after 5 and there were eight or people waiting outside. Most of us had reservations but a few were hoping to get one but they were turned away as they said they were booked up. We checked in but they still made us wait till all the people were checked in. It was kind of irritating since all the servers and staff were waiting for us at the entrance of the dinning room. I don't know why they made us wait so long. I filmed the bar area and dinning area while my family waited. The first couple got seated by the fireplace inside the bar are. Wow I wouldn't want to be there. It's the bar seating too. Strange , I was getting worried where they would put us. We were lead into the main dinning room. Good!. The room was a nice size with tables and booths. We got a booth. I was disappointed to not see white table clothes on the tables. The table was bare. It isn't as elegant as other steakhouses. There was a special prefix menu for Father's day but I forgot to take a picture of it. It wasn't something I wanted. I had looked at the bar before we were seated and saw what Japanese Whiskeys they had so I got the Yamazaki 12 year. It was nice. $54 I got the ribeye bone in which was $98. It was nice but nothing to write about. It was supposed to be 24oz but looked smaller. Cooked to a medium rare. I didn't think it was worth the price. The flavor was just ok. They asked if i wanted any sauces but they were extra charge. You shouldn't have to have a sauce on a steak at a steakhouse. We had the Market salad and split it. It was nice with peaches and cherries. I liked it. The fruit was fresh and ripe. My daughter got the French onion soup which was pretty good and flavorful. I think it was better than Ruth Chris'. My daughter ordered the Beef bourguignon and that was really good. I think better than the steak I got. My wife and daughter liked it. I would get that again. Oh I added the giant baked potato. It was ok . I didn't like that it wasn't warm inside. probably warmed up from being prepared earlier which sucks. I noticed that the dinning room wasn't even full, yet they turned away several patrons and said they were booked. I guess they don't have enough staff to handle the extra customers. Our sever didn't really check on us much and after he first came up to us he was busy talking to another server for a long while I had to waive him over. My daughter had gotten hot water and he didn't ask to refill it until the end of the meal. The service was not like other steakhouses. Not really up to speed. The manager was right to turn away other customers since they couldn't handle the ones they did have. I knew this steakhouse received bad reviews when it opened and I thought it would be different and nicer by now. It is just ok. Not amazing that I had to go there for the steaks. I was disappointed. I was hoping for a better steakhouse to go to for a nice experience and become a repeat customer. There are so many choices around I will keep looking.

I was hospitalized recently and my wife took excellent care of me after. I wanted to take her out for a special dinner and she chose this place. Ambiance This is a fine dining restaurant inside Sky River Casino. Just a beautiful spacious place. Customer Service It was stellar our server Tamika was attentive and sincerely pleasant. Wilson which I believe was front of house manager came by a few times checking on us, Wilson has what it takes to work the best restaurants in the world. Wilson brings charm and class. Blistered Shishito Pepper Very large appetizer. They were delicious. There were red rings of some pepper, to hot for me. Rate 5 18 oz Ribeye Center Cut I love a good sirloin and filet. My honey loves ribeye this is what she ordered. This was a thick cut and was cooked perfectly medium rare as all good steaks should be. This is the best ribeye I have ever tasted. Rate 5 Seabass So tender cooked perfectly and tasty. Sauce supreme was very good. Sat on a bed of grilled cabbage, not for my palet. I think sitting on a bed of rice would be better. Rate 4.5 Yukon Gold Potato Puree Yukon golds are my favorite. This is a sharable dish. So damn good u could taste the butter and cream. Rate 5 Plating Just beautiful. These chefs have pride. Top shelf. I will return and try the seafood pasta. Who knew casino food could be this good. Perfect diner experience.

I've dined here several times, and the food and service have been consistently good on every visit. One of my favorite things is their bread and butter -- the bread is incredibly soft and delicious. The iceberg wedge salad is huge and easily shareable between three people. It's light and refreshing. On my most recent visit, I ordered the seared scallops, which came with four generously sized scallops, maitake mushrooms, kale, parsnip purée, smoked hazelnut, and pancetta crumble. The scallops and mushrooms were excellent, but the parsnip purée was a little too sweet for my taste, and the kale leaned slightly bitter. Aside from that, I really enjoyed the dish overall. I also tried the bananas foster for the first time, and our server, Tamika, prepared it tableside for us. It was delicious -- sweet without being overpowering, especially paired with the cheesecake. Tamika was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout the meal. The steakhouse itself is spacious, though getting into the booths can be a little awkward unless you're seated at the end. Next time, I'd probably request a table instead.

The warm bread and salted butter always a hit

If you're looking for a steakhouse that delivers incredible food and a peaceful atmosphere, SR Steakhouse really gets it right. We went for a date night and right away I noticed how calm everything felt. No overwhelming casino smell, no loud chaos, just soft music and a space where you can actually have a conversation without leaning across the table. At this stage in life, that alone is a win. We started with the crab cakes, which are now pan-grilled instead of breaded and deep fried, and honestly, that change makes them even better. You can really taste the crab instead of just crunch. For mains, I ordered the beef bourguignon and my husband got the scallops and fish. My dish came out rich, tender, and huge. I ended up taking half home and somehow it was even better the next day, which says a lot. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and we added a side of mushrooms that tied everything together. Our server Isaac was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed without hovering. We've been here a few times now and it's consistently great, but this visit really stood out as one of those effortless, genuinely enjoyable date nights. Tip: Don't skip the mushrooms and plan for leftovers if you get the beef bourguignon. I'd come back just for the atmosphere alone, but the food makes it a no-brainer.

First things first: come with patience... for parking Finding a spot felt like a mini side quest. Hopefully with the expansion it will be better soon because this place definitely draws a crowd. Once inside though? Total vibe shift. SR Prime is giving fancy night out energy--sleek design, well dressed receptionist and wait staff - giving "okay we're treating ourselves tonight" feel. Service was top-tier across the board. Everyone was polished, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The in-house sommelier was a standout--asked questions, felt out our preferences, and guided us to a Napa Cabernet that paired perfectly with our meal. Love that level of intention. Now let's talk food! We ordered the French onion soup, 48 oz tomahawk (medium rare), asparagus, and scallop risotto. * The steak? Absolute star of the show. Cooked perfectly--juicy, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a legit steakhouse. They know what they're doing here. Nothing worse than under seasoned overcooked steak * Scallop risotto + asparagus both delivered and rounded everything out nicely. * French onion soup... it was good, but nothing to write home about And then... the bill hits After tax and tip, we were right around $200 per person. So yeah--this is definitely a special occasion kind of place. Not "random Tuesday night" unless you're feeling bold or you just won in the slots. I do wish they had some kind of birthday or anniversary perk--something to soften the blow a little and lean into that celebratory vibe. All that said, would I go back? Honestly... yeah. Not an "if," more like a "when" (just with a reason to celebrate). Great food, excellent service, and a whole experience and good vibes.

Steak was perfect medium rare, service was great. Great selection of bourbon as well. I'd return if I want a nice steak and some fun at the casino.

Dinner was amazing! This restaurant is so elegant and beautiful! Reservation isn't always needed but it's always good to get one in case they're busy busy.. you can make one on opentable. Service was great! Our waitress Tamika was so sweet and paid such great attention. We ordered the candied bacon and the baby iceberg in which Tamika split the salad into 3 servings for us to share because we knew we would be too full for the rest of our meal.. the candied bacon was delicious! Sweet and salty so good! Our salad was refreshing! Had bits of pancetta in it too! For my meal I had ordered the scallops plate.. it came with abundance of veggies and atop parsnip purée .. my favorite was the miatake mushroom! The scallop was cooked so tender and moist it was great! We also added a side of mash potatoes... that's a must! Don't miss that! It's soooooo creamy! I loved it! For dessert we had the banana flambé cheesecake! Soooooo good! Came with a show! Tamika flambéd the bananas in front of us! Such a fun experience with a delicious cheesecake ending!

So my servers, Tameka and Nadia with an H was amazing very attentive just warming and welcoming. The whole staff. was the food was to be honest just OK. For the price it should have been amazing. The experience was amazing but the food was just OK. I've been twice before and my food was amazing but this time it was just OK the lamb chops they were just OK. Those brussels sprouts was really really good and the mashed potatoes, but my salmon it was OK but I would tell everybody to go try it. The place is absolutely beautiful. Has the chandeliers I think that hang from the ceiling that are absolutely gorgeous. It's great for dinner or a late lunch for a date or with your girls.

It was a last minute reservation as we are planning to have dinner for my Birthday at Flemings. Glad we tried SR Prime Steakhouse. We had: Red wine- our server Erica recommendation Cocktail- Dragon cocktail- recommended by Erica For appetizer we had Bone marrow grilled with chumichiri and beef roulade sauce with bread- very good have to wipe al sauce with bread The soup of the day was butternut squash with crunchy bread and pumpkin seed - it's good as well. For main we have the ribeye bone it with side of baked potatoes- steaks cooked perfectly which we ask for medium well. Outside have chard taste at the outside and still can see the pinkish meat For my baked potatoes I prefer white cheese but yellow still good. Good food, nice place and great service. Thank you SR Prime .. we will definitely come back soon. Thank you Alberto for singing Happy Birthday!

Came here to celebrate my birthday and SR Prime made it feel like a proper occasion from start to finish. We started off with cocktails, French onion soup, spinach dip, and shishito peppers. Everything was flavorful and perfect for sharing while enjoying the atmosphere. For the main event, we ordered the tomahawk steak, which they presented and sliced tableside. It was cooked perfectly, tender, easily the the highlight of the night. We also ordered the lobster pasta and scallops on the side. Both were excellent. Rich, well prepared, and great additions to the steak. The pacing of the meal, service, and over all experience made the dinner feel relaxed and celebratory. Which is exactly what you want when you're celebrating something special. Definitely, a great spot for a birthday, date night, or special celebration.

Visited the Sky River Casino today and loved it! After playing some slots we decided to try the steak house. RS Prime steakhouse was the most delicious steak house we have eaten at since moving into this area 3 years ago. The ribeye steak was perfect and savory. Cooked to perfection! The Caesar salad and bread and butter or just amazing. We also tried the lobster cheese cavatappi and Brussel sprouts and were super delighted with the amazing flavors and textures. I think my husband just really enjoyed the butter squash soup. He said it was divine. The decor was amazing and the restaurant looked beautiful and clean. Our server was the best! Tamika was so kind and sweet and helpful when placing our order and really informed us about all the different items on the menu. I definitely recommend the steakhouse. I promise you won't not be disappointed! Amazing casino, and steakhouse for sure.

The lemon dessert was worth it!

My cousins and I went Friday night and Isaac was our server. He was attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and made the evening fun. However, our drinks weren't on point. The lemon drops were way too sweet and the dirty martinis weren't so dirty, so I asked for a side of olive juice. I learned our favorite bartender Max is no longer there and I was legit sad to learn this. He was the highlight of our visits and had the best currated cocktail menu. I hope the drinks get better as we enjoy stoping by for drinks in their lounge area.

We were honestly not too sure what to expect going into SR Prime Steakhouse since it is part of Sky River Casino. That hesitation disappeared almost immediately. The entrance is just inside the casino and you do not have to walk through gaming areas to reach it. Once inside you quickly forget you are even in a casino. The dining room is very nice and refined without feeling over the top like many casino restaurants tend to be. The meal itself was fantastic and made for a great overall experience. The service was excellent throughout the evening attentive polished and genuinely welcoming. We started with the oysters which were excellent and fresh and followed with the lump crab cake which was easily the best we have had in the area. It was generous flavorful and perfectly prepared. We split the wedge salad which was large enough for sharing though it was very average compared to the rest of the meal. For the main course we ordered the Filet and the dry aged New York strip and both were outstanding. They were cooked beautifully seasoned well and full of flavor. Without hesitation these were some of the best steaks we have had in the Sacramento area. For sides we ordered the Brussels sprouts and wild mushrooms. The Brussels sprouts were toasted nicely generous in portion and full of flavor. The wild mushrooms were excellent earthy well prepared and a perfect complement to the steaks. It truly exceeded our expectations. From the atmosphere to the service to the food it delivered a memorable and satisfying dining experience. If you have been hesitant because of the casino setting do not be. This is a destination steakhouse and one we will absolutely return to and recommend.

What a cool little spot!…read more My wife and I enjoyed ourselves. I love Izakayas, but there are only a few scattered all over the Sacramento area. While Tanuki did not have all the dishes expected at an Izakaya like Bichoyaki, it still has excellent yakitori and donburi. All the meat skewers were excellent, with chicken thigh, heart, and skin standing out. I highly recommend coming here and supporting a cool little spot that adds something new to Elk Grove, not to mention the nicest staff.

The stuff I normally order was not of the same quality. Idk if it's just a different cook or what was going on. The tamarind wings, the wings were oddly shaped and looked like wings were chopped in half or in pieces. No wings, a few drumsticks and some odd nugget sized pieces. This was the first time it has ever been like this. We always order the glass noodles and this time, we did not find little crab chunks like we have in the past. Maybe it was an oversight or forgotten? Flavor was still there but definitely not of the same quality. The Bo Ne was still yummy. Now, the bo tai chanh was so good before, this time there was barely any beef. For the price, and the name of the dish, I expect it to be a lot of beef or at least a decent amount. Instead we got a ton of pickled veggies and onions piled into a mound with some slices of beef hidden in there somewhere. I ate mostly pickled veggies. I am not sure what happened this visit but I couldn't help but feel like cost was being cut or something. The service is slowwwww but not bad at all. The servers get a pass cause they are very nice lol The lemon in our water was discolored/brown skin so we didn't drink it but thankfully I brought my own water.

Usually I would opt to order a ramen shop's specialty, such as the Maru Ramen, which I believe I had previously, and I remembered it being pretty good. The vegan tantanmen had a vegan broth, mushrooms, fried burdock, grilled eggplant, and other toppings. The mushrooms and fried burdock made the ramen really good. I wished I had more grilled eggplant! I did not miss the meat at all with this dish. The vegan broth was surprisingly rich for being vegan. Service was very nice. The restaurant is connected to MooMoo, so you can walk right through there. There is also plenty of seating. Outside there is also plenty of parking. Overall, I would highly recommend Maru!

The menu had different ramens, sides, wings, and garlic noodles. Things are little pricier, but comparable to other ramen places lately. We got the Tori Paitan with extra noodles, and the Tantanmen. Our ramen came out pretty fast. The chasu pieces were pretty big, and we loved it include a whole marinated egg. The broth on the paitan was deep and rich. The noodles were nice, and there was good amount given in the extra noodles. Both ramens were pretty filling that we needed to bring leftovers home. The staff were helpful and quick to refill out waters. They are connected to a boba place which we found cool. We also loved the cool wall mural, reminding us of the alleyways in Japan.

The La galbi had good flavor as well. The soy garlic beef belly was okay, not bad but nothing set it apart. The banchan apps were good but the japchae was was really good to me. The kimchi was bland tho, made me sad because I love good kimchi. The bad: soda machine was light on a couple sodas I ordered. Later on in the meal they reset the root beer soda so I really appreciate the service for that. The vent hood was really low and blocked cooking at times but we understand why it's there. Some dishes were a bit odd like the popcorn chicken, which was mostly crumbs like the bottom of a movie popcorn bucket. Service was solid, Brandon our server was nice and gave us good recommendations. We would return and hopefully I can give them more stars on my next visit.

The lighting inside was bright and welcoming as well. We had a party of eight, and I liked that they seated us with two grills, which made cooking much easier for our group. We did have to wait about 10 minutes for a table, though I wasn't sure why since there appeared to be several open tables. Dinner AYCE is $37 per person. One thing I didn't like was how low the exhaust vent hangs over the grill. It made cooking a bit difficult. We raised it higher, but the staff lowered it again because there was too much smoke. The AYCE experience includes a two-hour dining limit, and you can order up to three appetizers and three protein selections at a time. The beef selection included many of the same cuts we usually order at other KBBQ restaurants. While the quality was decent, some of the marinades were underwhelming. For example, the soy garlic beef belly was topped with sliced garlic but didn't have any of the "soy" on it . The marinated finger ribs had a nice texture and chew, but I could barely taste any marinade. The LA galbi was one of the better options, and my orders were not overly fatty. The popcorn chicken looked like it came straight from the bottom of the bucket. Most of it was tiny crumbs and fried bits rather than actual pieces of chicken. I also appreciated that the pineapple was fresh rather than canned. The scallion salad was another highlight--it included lettuce and scallions tossed in a light soy-based dressing. Our server, Brandon, was excellent. Since it was our first visit, he provided helpful recommendations and made the experience more enjoyable. Service was efficient, and our food arrived quickly throughout the meal.
