I'm back in Dublin, after my chiropractor appt ( refer back to my review with Intero Chiropractor). What is there for me to do, but to look for a nice place to eat after my appointment. I found Sri Thai!!! The waiter is really nice. He seated us outside and gave us a menu along with hand sanitizer! I'm not sure what is it with hand sanitizer now a days, but I guess it gave me great comfort knowing that people in this place care about the safety of their customers and themselves ! I'm impressed! My husband and I ordered the "crispy calamari", "chicken panang curry" and "shrimp pad Thai" . I liked the panang curry the most. The pad Thai is okay , I'm not a big fan. Oh yeah, and the crispy calamari was okay. Sri-Thai is my favorite comfort food place, and I always crave thai food specifically from here. The service is wonderful and all the workers are kind and friendly. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated, clean, and spacious. My mom and I have a tradition to come here monthly to catch up over our favorite food, thai food. We particularly come here because their food is absolutely amazing. We have tried thai iced teas from many places, but none compares to the one from here. We always order the shrimp pad thai, barbecue chicken, and the thai basil shrimp. All of the food is delicious and wholesome, and it feels so warm and comforting to eat. My wife went in to get the food and was very impressed with the interior, ambiance and friendliness of the staff, so we will likely go back soon for dine-in. They also offer a well-balanced lunch menu, fit for all dietary needs with customized spiciness. All lunches are served with soup-of-the-day and a fresh salad. I made a phone order for a Salmon dish with basil sauce & vegetables which I have ordered it many times in the past few years. It was always excellent & consistent. This time I immediately tasted the difference with the first bite ! Cooked in a watery broth with adding lots of red pepper to give it a taste. It was just too spicy but no flavor. This restaurant has a calming atmosphere and wonderful staff. In fact the woman running the front was kind and generous. That alone would keep me coming back. Unfortunately, the food wouldn't. My wife and I had green and yellow curry. The sauces were not flavorful and the veggies were mostly frozen. After adding a bit from the spice rack, the sauces perked up a bit. However, a housemade curry doesn't need heat to make it palatable. I'd love to come back another time and learn that they are using fresh ingredients. read more

We persisted, as we saw doordash delivered their food so we decided to go anyway and order carryout at the location. It was empty at 630PM on a Sat - that was the second obvious sign we missed. The food was not inedible but I could not recommend it to anyone - the crispy chicken was soggy and the curry was so so - $72 for two entrees, 2 beers and an appetizer and I deserve to get better food. This was a Doordash pickup (for myself) during COVID. I don't know if they treat every Doordash person this poorly but I am sorry if you've received similar treatment. I'm willing to bet that if I just called my order in as a regular customer instead of ordering through Doordash or another similar delivery app, I would've been treated differently. The service was so horrendous it turned me off to this place entirely. I'm not coming back. I normally don't need to assert myself to be helped, but seeing as I was skipped over/deemed less important than other patrons, I had to force myself in to be helped. The person working the front wasn't horribly harried, but he seemed to find other things to do to avoid helping me. My order wasn't packed despite it being labeled ready through the app, so that added an extra wait for an uncomfortable amount of time (in our current COVID climate). The man tossed my order on a random table without a word, so I stood for a beat wondering if this was it and if I was good to go. It was stuffed haphazardly in a bag. He busied himself with other tasks. I had to ask for a fork and he snapped at me, "Did the customer ASK for a fork?" I am the customer. I'm asking for a fork. He tsk'd and handed me one. Shrimp Pad Thai: I'm used to my Pad Thai being more on the dry side, as their Pad Thai is more on the wet side. The noodles and shrimp were cooked perfectly! The flavor was slightly tangy, and was little more sweet than I'm used to, but overall it was a good dish! Don't quote me on this, but I think I counted 6 shrimp. If you remember how the picture looks, it is a serving for TWO! $9.95 for that much food is crazy right?!?! Let's move on. Thai Veggie Rolls: It's kind of difficult to mess up a veggie egg roll right? But I'm sure if you overcook them, or if you stuff them with ingredients that are NOT fresh, you could potentially jack it up. These guys did NOT! Golden brown, nice crunch, and no weird overused cooking oil aftertaste!!!! *Thai Iced Tea was perfect!!* Side note: If you love Thai food, and you are cheap as hell, this will probably be your "go-to" Thai place in the Pleasanton area. **Their ice water has a weird aftertaste...but who cares?!?!* Conclusion: Great location, great service, good Pad Thai! I came here for a quick lunch. Before ordering, I noticed the plate and utensils were dirty. The water glass was dirty too. I ordered tea and it was cold. I sent the tea back. For lunch, I ordered the seafood curry. I specifically asked the waiter if it had any meat on the sauce because i'm pescatarian. He assured me that it did not. Half way through eating my food, I noticed that there were bits of pork added to the sauce. I'm very disappointed in the misinformation given to me by the waiter, even though I asked twice to make sure there was no meat on the sauce. I had a disappointing experienec at Sri-Thai. I first started coming to Sri Thai because it was right next door to where I was a sauté chef at, you would think I would want to eat at work for free but no. Lol. Let's start w/ the appetizers, the Lumpia here is freaking AMAZING. I was honestly not expecting a Thai place to make good Lumpia.... lol but they have actually some of the best, it's a very large portion, flavorfully perfectly golden and super crispy. I highly recommend starting w/ this. I also love the Veggie Tom Yum soup. Very flavorful as well, I usually get it when I'm not feeling well. For entrees I have had the Tofu Pad Thai, Chicken Yellow Curry and the Stuffed Angel wings. I personally love Pad Thai but they make Pad Thai right I prefer mine with no peanuts I'm not a big fan of peanuts... lol. Yellow Curry Chicken is bomb.com especially over some rice very flavorful and filling! As for the stuffed Angel Wings, this was actually why I started coming here... my boss bought us dinner one night from here and this is what he came back to work with. The angel wing is stuffed with veggies and noodles I believe and then it's deep fried and served with a sweet chili sauce, it's just f***ing amazing. You can not come here and not try this. Ok?? Basically they have great food, for a great price, and friendly service! My food: I ordered the Curry Vegetarian again. The curry is on-point and consistent: rich with coconut milk as it should be. Has enough vegetables and tofu in the curry. The vegetables are nothing to write home about. I chose brown rice instead of white rice. It would have paired better with white rice, but I was trying to be healthy. The hot and sour soup was appetizing. I'd give a 3.5 stars for this dish. My friend ordered the Seafood Fried Rice. She mainly ordered it because she wanted pineapple and carbs! Looked like a hefty dish with enough seafood pieces. She would give it 3 stars citing that it lacked some flavor. Scallops were a bit undercooked (although I'd like mine a bit undercooked). I LOVE this place. Alex is the best. He always knows my order. I get tom kha with soft tofu and broccoli only, corn fritters, Thai roti, Thai fried rice, their peanut sauce is to die for. I used to get the red curry with soft tofu and broccoli but it has fish sauce and I can't eat it but it's soooooo good. Best curry ever. I hope this place reopens. Please message me when you do.
