Second visit and had the lobster tail special. It was beautiful and delicious. Before I had the grouper which was also excellent! My sister in law had shrimp pasta which she had on a prior visit and was so good she got it again! Service was attentive and friendly and dining room is very comfortable and cozy. We went to SS Dockside for dinner and I got the Chicken Bacon Avocado sandwich and my wife got the Black and Blue burger. Both were delicious. The chicken was juicy and grilled with a light seasoning. My wife's burger was cooked well done as she likes and was juicy also. The fries are crispy on the outside and also have light seasoning. The service was good. The server was new and very friendly. We went back the next night and I tried the Fish and Chips and my wife had the Black and Ue burger. Both were delicious. There were two good sized pieces of cod with a delicious tartar sauce. We will be back next time we're in Branson. read more

This place was gross inside and out! The floors were filthy, the handicap access was through the back of the restaurant and the food was horrible. We were also solicited while we were in there by some guy to get our picture taken! Seriously! I would not want capture that moment of total disgust on our faces. First of all, they had the incorrect address posted online and when we arrived, the location had a sign that said they moved to a new address. We mapped the new address and it was still wrong so we called the location and the hostess didn't know the address. We finally found it and I have never been more upset to spend money at a restaurant. Everything was overpriced, soggy, not warm and nothing special. My lobster roll I paid $18 for was the worst lobster roll I have ever eaten in my entire life. Save ur money don't eat here. read more

Wasn't our first Choice other restaurants had long wait and the kids were hungry. As we walked up to the door wasn't feeling good about the place, bunch of extension chords laying around the sidewalk and beer cans in the bushes. Sat down the booth seat was ratty and torn a beer neon sign behind us not hanging or working in the corner. The server was nice and prompt. Then a guy comes over and ask us to scoot together for a picture. Hesitant we do but have no intention of buying. When I go out with my family we want to be together and not bothered by tourist trap pics, I mean who wants a pic in a booth, In this day and age everyone has a camera in there pocket. We popped into here for a supper on a Thursday night and was seated immediately which usually worries me but the proof is in the pudding. Our server greeted us with a smile and got our drinks ordered and brought to us quickly. I got the hook line and sinker and was happy with my choice. The catfish was in stick form as was the chicken. But, both were cooked very well and seasoned to perfection, my draw back was this. Being from the south everyone who cooks really good fish uses only one type of batter. For those that don't know it's Cornmeal, not cornmeal and flower but straight out the bag cornmeal. I'm not gonna spend 30 minutes debating or talking about this because I know what I know. The chicken was feasibly battered and not Tyson in a bag. The shrimp were plump and juicy with no rubbery action or taste. Why four stars? This location is fairly new and is in the old Shorty Smalls. We arrived on Saturday night and had about a 15 minute wait. We were seated and the service was great. The food was ok. We had chicken fried steak and the hook, line, and sinker. The catfish was good, but the shrimp lacked seasoning. The key lime pie was a nice surprise! This is a new diamond in the rough for restaurants on the strip. It's locally owned. The menu is diverse with great food choices. It says they are a cafe and pub. I say an awesome restaurant. I've had the shrimp two different ways. A burrito, named the big mouth, and different appetizers. They are not new to the business as they have two locations on Table Rock Lake open during the season. Being the off season if you are a local please support them. I'll be back for sure. read more

waitress was great. menu said a pile of butterfly shrimp. a pile to them is 5 and I was thinking closer to a dozen. the coleslaw came in a small cup like you'd see ketchup in at other places. the grouper was extremely fishy and the veggies were rubbery and would bet came out of a bag. the table was dirty and greasy. we had to have the waitress wipe it off. not sure if people are just giving out 4.5 stars in Missouri, but I would bet no locals are eating here. cafeteria food quality at best. worst $53 I've spent on 2 entrees in a long time. the people sitting next to us were eating over cooked crab. not sure how this place stays open?! must be tourists being completely misguided by Yelp reviews like we were that are simply inaccurate. read more

I had blackened salmon that was a bit over cooked (dry) and the double vegetables were disappointing with a lot of broccoli stems (right out of a frozen bag-see pic) and the toast not garlicky at all. Waitress was new, but nice and helpful. Ordered medium steak and potato salad. Steak was over cooked and the potato salad appeared to have been sitting in the fridge for some time. Not the signature side expectation as presented. But all that was nothing till the manager came out. He took care of the ticket, but repeated that we can "just leave". After I told him that was quite rude, he backtracked saying "I'm just saying your bills covered and you can go". Well service was nice but a little slow and they weren't that busy. The shrimp trio with the loaded baked potatoes was good. The catfish tasted dirty, maybe just the kind it was. I personally didn't like it. The fries and slaw are just ok. Sweet tea wasn't sweet at all. The place looks a little run down and needs a good cleaning. Wouldn't really wanna see the kitchen. Probably won't return. If you let the guy that comes around to take pictures, take yours, be prepared to be slightly harassed about purchasing it. :( read more

Your poor server was the only one there and y'all were too concerned about a robot host. She was running around and doing a GREAT job at that. And the only help you gave her was "hey that table needs help" as she was busting a table. She said she already checked on them and you walked off. YOU could of helped them! And then you told the table "yeah if people wanted to work we wouldn't need this robot". That is not something you say to guests. And your waitress is busting her ass to take care of everyone and y'all just chatted in the front. That is probably why no one wants to work there.
