Very good restaurant. To be honest when we first walked in I was a little worried. The interior is a little generic and the floors were a little sticky and I was getting a "chain fast food" vibe. Plus the pictures on Yelp show the restaurant being on the lake, and maybe they have a lake location, but this location is smack downtown Branson and there is no outdoor seating over looking water. So I was worried. Surprise. The food was very good and fresh. I got the shrimp trio with sweet potato fries and mixed veggies. All three shrimp types were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Actually wish I could give this place negative stars. Omg First the table and seats were disgustingly dirty had to wait for it to be cleaned off. First impressions go a long way with me I wanted to leave at first sight but the rest of my party who were obviously hungry wanted to give it a chance. We all decide to have the catfish dinner. We liked this place alright. The service was good and so was the food. We'd give it five stars, if it weren't for the fact that there really wasn't anything super outstanding about the food. While it was fresh, tasty and seasoned well...there was just something about it that seemed like a chain restaurant. We were wanting to have an early dinner and decided to go to Dockside Cafe. We hadn't been here since last summer and we were so glad we went there. We were seated right away by of all people the photographer. Lol. Really nice guy. No pressure to take or buy a photo. My husband had the chicken fried steak. It was so tender; you could cut it with your fork. I ordered the chicken alfredo and it was very good. Seasoned well. Our meal was delivered by a robot-kids would love this. Once we received our meal, we saw our server in the restaurant but never came back to our table. We had to ask another server for our ticket and he found her. Here she comes and we had to ask for a to go box and our ticket. Off she goes for the box. She comes back with the box and another table's drink which she delivered first (no problem here). We will return because the food was very good and priced on par with other restaurants here in town. Just hope we get a more attentive server or maybe she needs some more training. read more

Had the Gator Bites for an App and the Shrimp Trio for lunch. First of all, the food came out warm, more on the cool side. Not what you're looking for in seafood. That said, the gator bites good, and of the shrimp trio, only the fried shrimp were good and fresh. The bacon wrapped pepper shrimp along with the blackened shrimp were not good. Also cam with some chilled rice and mixed vegetables that were also below average. We will not be back. Lastly, there was 1 waiter in the room which didn't help things. read more

The mashed potatoes tasted like they were made from a plastic instant mashed potatoes cup. Good service good food!! We went on a Friday night without calling ahead, got a table right away, food was delicious and you get a LARGE portion for a very good price. Circy was our server and he was very attentive, fast and friendly. They were out of a side I wanted but he offered to throw together something similar to it without prompting or instead of just saying they were out. Got into town and found the closest place over 4 stars and wow, this place did not disappoint...got the pretzel for an app, and the shrimp trio and the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Don't let the pictures fool you. I was very disappointed. It just didn't feel clean. The hostess was completely annoyed she was even there. My food was okay, I ordered the crab legs, but they weren't cooked right as they were difficult to crack. My husband ordered the catfish and said it had no flavor. My grandson ordered the kid's pina colado and he said it was gross. I tasted it and it tasted nothing like a pina colada. We ordered the kid's mac and cheese. He didn't like it, I thought what kid hates mac and cheese? I tasted it, it was like a homemade mac and cheese and had a weird cheese on it.
