    Fresh baked treats and bagels

Kudos and big SHOUT OUT to Panera in Chesterfield Valley for their customer "care"!! We were at fault for missing our pick-up on a takeout order; after calling them a day later, the Manager without hesitancy replaced our order (at no charge)! How's that for personal service and building loyalty with their customers, wow! We enjoy Panera's experience, and go regularly whenever we want a fresh, simple and lighter meal. Great bagels, breads, pastries, soups, salads and sandwiches! I always order the "Pick 2" Combo. My favorites soups are their Broccoli Cheddar, Creamy Tomato, and when in season, Wild Chicken & Rice and Turkey Chili. Salads are excellent depending your craving, and plenty of sandwiches to choose. Average meal ~$5-10pp I haven't tried their newest Flatbread Pizza items yet, but will on my next visit. THANKS Panera for making my day! Enjoy!

Dirty silverware, as it was served to us.

I never complain... however: This is an unaltered photo of the silverware that was just given to me with my soup and salad. We also had to find the cleanest dirty table to sit at. (I had to take paper towels from the bathroom, soak them with hand sanitizer and clean my own table.) All the garbage cans are overflowing, with piles of dirty dishes stacked on top. Yes, In the middle of a national pandemic, I have never seen a such disregard for public health. Seriously, Imagine being served these dirty utensils in a COVID 19 world!!! Experience at the Bread Company in Chesterfield Valley. I will not be back. I strongly recommend avoid it.

Hair I pulled out of my salad

Should have checked the reviews before ordering! Placed an order online for rapid pick up and here's what happened next 1. Arrived on time and clicked the "I'm here" button on my confirmation email. No one shows up for 10 min. By this time I could have gone through the drive through and gotten my order. 2. Called and no answer after multiple rings (there were at least 3 people working inside) 3. Decided to go through the drive thru and pick up my order that way 4. The salad I had customized wasn't customized at all. Tortilla strips were added when I had said to take them off (trying to be low carb). Cherry tomatoes I wanted were MIA. I had asked for extra dressing and the little cups were less than halfway full. Very deceptive. 5. Proceeded to eat because I'm hungry, only to find hair in my salad (see pic) You would think in this economy that everyone would be doing what they could to keep their jobs but these people just dgaf. Turned my off from visiting a Panera/bread co for a long time.

St. Louis Bread always a favorite.

Ever since St Louis Bread started a few decades ago, I have been a huge fan of their fresh baked breads , sandwiches and soups. Whole the coffee may not be the same as a specialty coffee shops, ots better than most chains. My favorite order here changes over time, but right now the Cuban sandwich, Green Goddess salad are my go to items. My long term favorite soup is the cream of chicken and wild rice. Yum!

Open your dining room like all the other restaurants in the valley and perhaps the reviews will improve some.

I had been a few times in the past but it was my family's first time. I don't drink alcohol and they have a great mocktail section! I got the NOPE-rol Spritz, it was delicious! My family and I split the white truffle fries and ciabatta as appetizers and they all got pasta dishes that they loved. I got a pizza (the Arugula) and unfortunately I feel as though I ordered wrong (which was my own fault), I didn't really care for it. When you took a bite it was like all the toppings fell off on the first bite. I think they cut the pizza before putting the toppings on which just made it harder to eat. I think the best part of the night was the service. We had Grace as our waitress (she was training another girl, but unfortunately I don't remember her name). They did a fabulous job - Grace did a wonderful job training her! It felt like we were at one of the more elevated Napoli's like Napoli III. They were so attentive and gave us great suggestions. Get that woman a raise! Well done, ladies!

The food will be very familiar from the perspective that everything we had was excellent. We started with calamari, and to our surprise there were also a small group of onion straws on the plate. It was served with 2 sauces (one marinara and one aioli - both were excellent). Don't skip the fried lemons, they are an added treat. We then moved on to the Napoli salad, it is as described on the menu...crisp, and appropriately dressed. Then we had the special pizza of the evening, it was a black garlic base (not strong) with mushrooms and burrata on top - delicious. We also happen to be sitting next to the area with the pizza oven - a must see if you are there. We did sit inside, but outdoor seating was available. What might not be so familiar, but I thought was great, was a more casual atmosphere, and decor, I would classify is as upscale casual. Our server was very pleasant, the only thing that surprised me was the time in between courses seemed a bit longer than expected, but that gave my friends and I a chance to catch up. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and I will be back!!

Stevie was my server that night and she provided friendly top notch service. I ordered a spicy margarita for my cocktail. I was a little disappointed with the drink. It was very cucumber forward, had a nice heat, but lacked that signature lime flavor and tartness required of a good margarita. The brussel sprouts and cheese grits were a must try for me. The pork chop was the perfect entree to accompany these sides. The brussel sprouts were charred and crispy. The balsamic glaze paired nicely with the charred flavor. The pork chop is served in a very generous portion juicy and tender. The citrus sauce paired nicely with the pork. The cheese grits were creamy and delicious. All in all a delightful meal. The portions were generous enough for me to have hearty meal of leftovers the next day. The menu is fairly concise with burgers, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, beer/pork/chicken entrees, and salads. They have something for just about everyone. The appetizer menu offers loaded brussel sprouts with bacon balsamic and feta. This would have been too much to tackle by myself. I plan on bringing my friends next time to share this dish.

This was my first time going since all of their menu upgrades. I needed something fast and…read morerelatively healthy. I went with the high protein bowl. This is a bowl with mixed veggies and double protein. Depending on the protein there is an up charge for each. The tenderloin steak was $3.50 to upgrade. But I wanted to try. The flavor was very good but you get probably less than an ounce of meat, at least that's what I would say was in this bowl. It was an extremely, extremely small portion. And it was in tiny little chopped up pieces. The grilled chicken was a $1.50 upgrade. Even that was maybe 2 ounces max of sliced chicken. To get all steamed broccoli instead of a mixed veggie is $0.75. That was fine. There was tons of broccoli. Compared to other places with a similar style, healthy options fast, I think you're getting a little less "bang for your buck". The bowl was flavorful and tasted good. But I feel like for all the charges based on your protein selection, there should be at least a normal portion. The service at this location was fine. No one really greeted me or said anything to me at all. They were very busy during lunch. They only seemed to engage with people who ordered in store. I ordered online and my bag was shucked onto a shelf without even calling the name out even though a lot of people were waiting for their orders. You had to go up and check the bags for your name every time they put an order on the shelf if you placed it online. Again, not bad. Not good. Just nothing special. This is a great option if you're needing something quick and relatively healthy. My order didn't take long from placing to pickup. The "sauce bar" is now a grab and go fridge which is a nice upgrade and much more germ friendly. The store was clean and I had no complaints there. I just think the pricing for portion compared to the old menu and portions was a surprise!
