    Fresh baked treats and bagels

Kudos and big SHOUT OUT to Panera in Chesterfield Valley for their customer "care"!! We were at fault for missing our pick-up on a takeout order; after calling them a day later, the Manager without hesitancy replaced our order (at no charge)! How's that for personal service and building loyalty with their customers, wow! We enjoy Panera's experience, and go regularly whenever we want a fresh, simple and lighter meal. Great bagels, breads, pastries, soups, salads and sandwiches! I always order the "Pick 2" Combo. My favorites soups are their Broccoli Cheddar, Creamy Tomato, and when in season, Wild Chicken & Rice and Turkey Chili. Salads are excellent depending your craving, and plenty of sandwiches to choose. Average meal ~$5-10pp I haven't tried their newest Flatbread Pizza items yet, but will on my next visit. THANKS Panera for making my day! Enjoy!

Dirty silverware, as it was served to us.

I never complain... however: This is an unaltered photo of the silverware that was just given to me with my soup and salad. We also had to find the cleanest dirty table to sit at. (I had to take paper towels from the bathroom, soak them with hand sanitizer and clean my own table.) All the garbage cans are overflowing, with piles of dirty dishes stacked on top. Yes, In the middle of a national pandemic, I have never seen a such disregard for public health. Seriously, Imagine being served these dirty utensils in a COVID 19 world!!! Experience at the Bread Company in Chesterfield Valley. I will not be back. I strongly recommend avoid it.

Hair I pulled out of my salad

Should have checked the reviews before ordering! Placed an order online for rapid pick up and here's what happened next 1. Arrived on time and clicked the "I'm here" button on my confirmation email. No one shows up for 10 min. By this time I could have gone through the drive through and gotten my order. 2. Called and no answer after multiple rings (there were at least 3 people working inside) 3. Decided to go through the drive thru and pick up my order that way 4. The salad I had customized wasn't customized at all. Tortilla strips were added when I had said to take them off (trying to be low carb). Cherry tomatoes I wanted were MIA. I had asked for extra dressing and the little cups were less than halfway full. Very deceptive. 5. Proceeded to eat because I'm hungry, only to find hair in my salad (see pic) You would think in this economy that everyone would be doing what they could to keep their jobs but these people just dgaf. Turned my off from visiting a Panera/bread co for a long time.

St. Louis Bread always a favorite.

Ever since St Louis Bread started a few decades ago, I have been a huge fan of their fresh baked breads , sandwiches and soups. Whole the coffee may not be the same as a specialty coffee shops, ots better than most chains. My favorite order here changes over time, but right now the Cuban sandwich, Green Goddess salad are my go to items. My long term favorite soup is the cream of chicken and wild rice. Yum!

Open your dining room like all the other restaurants in the valley and perhaps the reviews will improve some.

I love bread co. The cinnamon crunch bagel and the frozen mocha are amazing. I always get the tomato mozzarella panini.

Stevie was my server that night and she provided friendly top notch service. I ordered a spicy margarita for my cocktail. I was a little disappointed with the drink. It was very cucumber forward, had a nice heat, but lacked that signature lime flavor and tartness required of a good margarita. The brussel sprouts and cheese grits were a must try for me. The pork chop was the perfect entree to accompany these sides. The brussel sprouts were charred and crispy. The balsamic glaze paired nicely with the charred flavor. The pork chop is served in a very generous portion juicy and tender. The citrus sauce paired nicely with the pork. The cheese grits were creamy and delicious. All in all a delightful meal. The portions were generous enough for me to have hearty meal of leftovers the next day. The menu is fairly concise with burgers, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, beer/pork/chicken entrees, and salads. They have something for just about everyone. The appetizer menu offers loaded brussel sprouts with bacon balsamic and feta. This would have been too much to tackle by myself. I plan on bringing my friends next time to share this dish.

Quick service, great staff and delicious food…read more I was craving a sandwich, so i stopped by here heading back to the office. The menu is plentiful and has so many different sandwich, and salad options to choose from. I was contemplating between the chicken bacon ranch wrap and the Cubano. I opted to get the cubano. My sandwich came with slow roasted pork, ham,Swiss cheese, deli mustard and pickles. I got mine on white bread. They put the sandwich in the oven to warm it up and melt the cheese, then gets dressed in what ever toppings you want. I chose to keep mine as is. The pork needs a little more seasoning, but over all, it was delicious. The meat was very tender, bread was so fluffy and soft. The deli mustard was not too tangy. I also grabbed a lemon cheesecake cookie. It was soft, chewy and had cheesecake pieces incorporated into it. I would definitely get that again. Plenty of seating inside and seating on the patio. It is noisy inside so if you're looking for a quieter place, i would take my food to go. The parking lot can become busy and congested due to it being in a plaza with other businesses. I will be back to try other sandwiches!

We came here a lunch outing to try the pot pie soup and the eggnog shake. My co-workers were raving…read moreabout how good the pot pie soup is and how you have to try it. Cute sandwich shop with friendly employees who are helpful but could definitely work on......how should we say hygienic cleanliness. Another fast casual establishment where either employees do not use gloves or their gloves are an extension of their hands, meaning they mop and clean up in the gloves, FINE but wash your hands and change your gloves afterwards. Also, take your gloves off if you're handling money and why are you wiping your nose with gloves on. The cup of soup if $5, well over priced for the portion size. The soup itself is hearty and the big draw is that the soup has pot pie crust sprinkled on top. It's more of a deconstructed pot pie that you eat like a soup then being a soup. The eggnog shake was $5.59 which was priced correctly for the cup size. The shake had a slight eggnog flavor but not that power packed punch that I was expecting. They use real milk in their shakes and I the quality of the ice-cream. I would recommend trying one of their shakes. My co-worker ordered both the eggnog shake and went back before we left to order the banana pudding shake which he stated tasted exactly like pudding and enjoyed that shake over the eggnog. I have tried a few of their sandwiches since our office has used them to cater lunch several times. The sandwiches are literally just ok, more miss than hit. The wreck I find is the most flavorful and the chicken bacon ranch is over-rated. I would not go out of my way to purchase a sandwich from here and spend my own money, they are far better sandwich shops to chose from. The only item that I absolutely LOVE from here is the jar of Hot Peppers. Now their jar of giardiniera is the BEST!!! It's a mixture of jalapeños, carrots, cauliflower, peppers and celery. It's spicy and super flavorful, goes GREAT on anything to add a kick, especially pizza and of course sandwiches.
