Delicious place for a quick lunch. I shared a short rib bahn mi and two al pastor tacos with my sister. Great flavor all around. My sister thought the sandwich could have used slightly more meat. The tacos were perfect and over-flowing with quality ingredients. We left the place stuffed and happy. Both the chef and owner were extremely friendly and pleasant. Very accommodating; food made to order. We had the steak, shrimp and salmon tacos; a lot of meat and very flavorful. The sweet potato fries were delicious! Check this very small lunch spot. It would get 5 stars if there were more table seating. The food is creative and carefully prepared. Oh yes and very good. Shrimp taco was a real taste experience. I will be back next time I'm in town. They have 4 tables inside a lunch counter. With warmer weather they have several sidewalk tables on which to enjoy your meal. read more

So where to begin... second time ordering from here. Super disappointed in the food. One of our sandwiches had plastic inside the sandwich. GROSS! Plus the Korean sandwiches and salads shouldn't be called Korean. Not even close to what it should taste like. I really wanted to like this place, but was actively disappointed. Ordered the Banh Mi. Tasteless. It was like roast beef with a very mild cole slaw topping. Where are the pickled vegetables, the cilantro, the other distinctive tastes and spices? They offer a lot of spicy bottled hot sauces, but I wanted and expected a sandwich that tasted like a traditional banh mi, not one that I would have to jazz up on my own with some Mexican hot sauce. The food is good. The fries are amazing. The prices are terrible. If you're looking to spend less than $20 don't come here. It is totally a-la-carte so a sandwich will just be a sandwich, no fries. Been here many times. The food is great, BUT customer service is terrible. Messed up take out order 2 times in a row. The young guy with terrible attitude who is trying to manage the place by himself is not capable of doing it. Management needs to get him help and more training. What a nice surprise to get a delicious Cuban sandwich in Winnetka. The ingredients were of very high quality, generous and flavorful. The bread was nicely grilled and just crunchy enough. It wasn't quite as authentic as the Cubans I used to get when I lived in Florida, but it was so well done, it deserves 5 stars. Stacked & Folded continues to be one of the gems of Winnetka. The Cheesesteak, is better than anything I've ever had in Philly. I have to force myself to try other items which are also terrific. Had their Southwestern Salad the other day and it was perfect. As important, the staff could not be friendlier. They will also prepare boxed meals for picnics, like going to Ravinia. Went for dinner for the fourth time and keep forgetting to give this place 5 stars ! We had California blackened salmon salad. Two tacos one was salmon the other chicken. Both excellent. Our friends had Panko crusted avacado tacos. Korean short rib bahmmi sandwich - Eat in their little adorable restaurant or carry out. We sat outside with friends and had a perfect summer evening. As a favor the other night he made some Guac and homemade chips ! Delicious and flavorful. Lots of love goes into making their food and they're very appreciative for the business. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I've never had a bad experience here and I order food on almost a weekly basis. The owner Josh is so friendly and greets me by name everything he sees me come in. My favorite things on the menu are the sweet potato fries, the avocado taco (to die for) and the Bánh mì. I've tried almost everything on the menu and there has yet to be something that I didn't like! Their outdoor seating is great, I can walk my dog over and enjoy and meal outside. This showed up as a 'Mexican' restaurant at yelp but this is not your traditional Mexican place. Much more than that. They have sandwiches, salads and tacos -- i.e. stacked, forked and folded -- that are simply DELICIOUS! Great neighborhood gem that is worth discovering if you are in the area. I am glad my wife told me to check out Stacked and Folded today. Walking in I had no idea what to expect and the owner couldn't have been friendlier explaining the menu. I tried one of the "Stacked" and one of the "Folded" items. The cheese steak sandwich was the best I've ever had with lean flavorful meat, grilled onions, peppers and the perfect amount of cheese on a fresh roll. The tuna taco was equally impressive and had an incredible flavor and crunch. The items are all reasonably priced and it's easily to tell, super fresh, unlike most fast food places. We will definitely be back and hope everyone on the Northshore finds this new hidden gem. read more
