Delicious food and good service. Really impressed with the serves abilities to anticipate needs and ask great questions an additional while ordering and during check ins. The food is cooked well and seems to be good quality. The chicken sandwich was quite thin on the protein, but breakfast comes with a lot of additions. My egg was a little more cooked than I would've preferred based on the cook. Overall great option with really small things that could be altered to be 10/10. Def recommend getting the pancakes! Great outdoor seating and able to bring dogs.

Tried Stack's new location in Willow Glen. The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean and modern. I had the hot link, mushroom and onion skillet. This was a heavy breakfast. It tasted good at first, but as you kept eating it, the saltiness overpowered it. I don't think I will order this again, but I will definitely comeback to this restaurant to try different items.

I love brunch! First time at this location. Nice that there's a parking lot. There's street parking, too, if you get lucky on a busy day. Place is decent size with a nice patio. Within 5 minutes - we were seated at our table, had full glasses of water, and even placed our order! The hardest thing was deciding on what to order. I decided on French toast with fresh strawberries, bananas, whipped cream, and Nutella! Soooo good. I forgot to ask for Nutella on the side (not a huge fan) but it had just the right amount. Large serving, too. Nice saturation and still fluffy. The whipped cream was so yummy, didn't really need syrup at all. The syrup served warm was a nice treat. Hubby ordered a hot link omelet which he really liked. Came with a buttered bagel. His potatoes were a little over cooked but I liked them. And yes, I ate them off his plate. :D Can't wait to go back. They have mimosa flights that I want to try. Large breakfast menu so I'm also excited to try other items! Service was wonderful and very friendly. Overall great vibes at this place! Great location in Willow Glen. Family friendly, including fur babies. Go for a walk and browse the local businesses while you wait for your table, or after your awesome meal.

We visited Stacks in Willow Glen this morning and it was such a pleasant experience! I love how they're utilizing the space during morning hours--it's actually the same location as The Black Sheep brasserie restaurant, which operates exclusively in the evenings. Parking was surprisingly easy to find, and we enjoyed a quick walk through downtown Willow Glen to get there. What really stood out was how fast everything happened. We barely had time to settle in before our food arrived--it felt like the server turned around and immediately placed huge plates of breakfast in front of us. A short stack of pancakes for the table is a must! We kept it simple, with a plain stack which the family devoured in no time. My son ordered the pizza bagel, which had a nice little kick, and the fresh fruit on the side was a perfect balance for him! I'm eyeing the lemon ricotta raspberry pancakes for my next visit! Overall, Stacks is a solid breakfast option if you're looking for good food, quick service, and a cozy spot to start your day. Highly recommend!

TLDR : Good food, nice place in downtown for a fun brunch Tried Stacks for a weekend brunch and enjoyed thoroughly. The eggs and omelettes were great and lived the bloody Mary!

We arrived on a Saturday morning around 10:30 and we got a table immediately. Ordered Lemon ricotta pancakes and Veggie breakfast burrito. We really enjoyed the burrito, it was hot, cheesy, and generous with the avocado. The lemon ricotta pancakes were alright, the felt a little dry since the raspberry sauce was on the side and not a large amount, and the ricotta was quite grainy. Quite a heavy meal, even with just a stack of 2! It was a cute standard brunch place, would go back to try other dishes.

Lovely breakfast on Labor Day. You can't find a table on a Sunday especially if you go during brunch. We went around 10 and could easily find a table. Friendly staff and a relaxing breakfast. If you can find a table outside on a good day it's time well spent during breakfast.

Crab Omelette with potatoes and a biscuit

Stacks is now in the South Bay, and I couldn't be happier! I've been eagerly waiting for this classic breakfast/brunch spot to open closer to home, in the Willow Glen neighborhood. For our meal, I ordered takeout--a crab omelet with a side of potatoes and a biscuit--while my mom got the Popeye's omelet with the same sides. Since this location just opened, I tried to be patient with the delays. However, when my mom initially called to place the order, no one answered, so she had to order online instead. When I arrived to pick up the food, it was busier outside than inside, with minimal staff at the front desk. After waiting a few minutes, I finally got our order. The service could use some improvement, but it's understandable given that they just opened. The ambiance was pleasant--not too loud, with windows and doors open to the street--creating a typical modern breakfast/brunch, family-oriented dining atmosphere. As for the food, the crab omelet was surprisingly good, with real crab meat and a tasty, creamy cheese topping. The biscuit was fluffy, though it didn't come with any jams or butter. The hashbrowns were standard diner fare but still hit the spot. Having visited the Menlo Park location many times, I'm excited to have them in San Jose, and I'll definitely be back to try more of their breakfast favorites!

This was a cute little trendy place. We were greeted by a friendly as soon as we walked in and was sat right away. I love that they leave the coffee carafe at the table. My quest for the perfect corned beef hash is still on going, so that's what I ordered. It wasn't great (my husband chided me "what do you expect from a place called Stacks?") but it was passable. Overall good food experience and we will definitely try this place again. And I will try the crepes.

Tried Stacks in Willow Glen for the first time today. Had the chicken apple sausage omelette, potatoes, toast, and apple juice. The omelette was bland. A little more salt and some pepper probably would have helped. The potatoes had some burned pieces, but that might have been intentional. Toast was good. Apple juice was super good.

I've tried Stacks at the Campbell location so I was excited to see another open in Willow Glen. The patio is spacious enough to have multiple dogs on the patio. It's open so doesn't feel stuffy. The service and food were very prompt (low key mad at myself that I forgot to bring home my leftovers because I ordered the crepe last minute...). All the food was delicious and filling! I was surprised to learn I was able to order a single crepe, instead of the advertised two from their menu. I know the location just opened, but open to trying it in the future as they continue to establish themselves in the neighborhood. Great place for a traditional breakfast and plenty of food options like burgers and salads.

Hey there Party People…read more I've been to the Table several times since my first review for the restaurant and just felt I needed to restate the obvious....this place is great. Hubby and I wanted to have brunch The Table is the best spot. You can get bottomless Mimosas for a very reasonable price. But first and foremost the food is what you go for. Not to mention you can take a very pleasant walk along Willow street and check out the shops after a great meal. The menu really lends to sharing plates so you can really get your foody on. We had the beignets to start. Made with ricotta and lemon curd for dipping. The beignets were very moist and a little dense because of the ricotta. The sugar coating was light and the crust was perfectly crunchy. What really made the beignets sing was the lemon curd dipping sauce just added a deep layering of flavor. Then there was the Heirloom Tomato salad with artichoke hearts. It was a tasty bite. The fry on the artichoke hearts was light bringing out the artichoke flavor. The treatment of the heirloom was clean simple and the whole dish together was just wonderful. Finally we had the Chicago Roast beef sandwich. It was huge and made me glad that we were splitting the dishes. The sandwich really reminded me of the east coast because of the peppers and carrots medley that was on the sandwich, which packed a fantastic little kick to wake up the pallet. Their Au Jus dipping sauce brought the hold combination together. Per my Hubby, who is a real Roast Beef lover, the whole sandwich was next level. If you're in Willow Glen and you don't eat here you have missed out on a wonderful experience. Be kind to one another

That's blatant racism, and it happened while I was a paying customer. Staff did nothing to address it in the moment. Understandably upset and shaken, I had too much to drink afterward. My family came and drove me home safely. Rather than addressing what actually happened -- a customer being racially harassed on their premises -- management's response was to ban me, not the person who harassed me. If a business allows this kind of harassment to go unaddressed and then punishes the target of it for reacting, that's a real problem, not a minor service issue. This is the San Francisco Bay Area. We should expect better than this. Avoid this place if you don't want to find out how they'll treat you when something like this happens to you.

We sat at the bar, where Nate (the bar manager), Skyler, and Juanita absolutely crushed it. They were attentive, personable, hilarious, and somehow managed to all be ridiculously good-looking. What has been especially upsetting is watching him go out of his way to serve his regular customers--bringing them complimentary drinks, checking on them frequently, and making them feel valued--while we are treated as though we don't matter. I have even been asked to move tables so his regular customers could be accommodated. I've been a customer here for two years, yet I've never been made to feel like I belong. The kitchen is open and you can appreciate the chefs working on their open wood fired grills and pizza ovens, which imparts a faint, woody, aromatic fragrance in the restaurant. The staff is polite and courteous. They left a signed note on the table for my husband's birthday which was a sweet gesture. For the drinks, we started with the jean claude pandan, pandan being the my husband's current favorite ingredient in food and drinks. I had the drink with dill, which the server warned me about being centered around the flavor of pickles (which I am personally fond of). The pandan drink was a light and refreshing highball and I found the dill cocktail to be creamy and delicious, but didn't really leave me with a sour aftertaste. For food, we went with the drip trio platter which came with fresh pita bread pieces, and the drip trio of hummus with roe on top, chilled tzatziki, and muhammara. Then we moved on to the oysters which were fresh, will a dressing of an herb oil of some sort. They also had a complementary palette cleanser in between which was a shot of watermelon and orange juice. For maincourse, my husband went for the tagliatelle and I chose the ravioli, both choices were corroborated by our server to be the right ones to go for. The tagliatelle is expensive because of the lobster and caviar that it comes with. However, the pasta is delicious and comes in a decadent sauce. Not a lot of lobster pieces though. The ravioli had a robust mushroom flavor and came with a light sauce of mushrooms, crispy fried shallots, and pine nuts. We skipped dessert because we were pretty full already. Would definitely recommend this place for a cozy dinner out but it's quite expensive so might not be a place to go to frequently.
