Stadium Nissan - The day we bought our Nissan at Stadium Nissan with Sam - Auto Repair Near Me - Orange, California

I called and scheduled a service appointment last Friday because my Apple CarPlay was not working for the past week, my bluetooth was going in and out, and my car was sporadically not sensing the key fob. I made sure to have the earliest appointment possible and the scheduler on the phone was confident that the problem would be solved between a time line of a half day to a full day. I was able to switch cars with my boyfriend so he could take my car while I was still able to get to work. The dealership offered to Lyft my boyfriend back to our apartment which was nice. About 2 and a half hours later the dealership called me at work stating that there was nothing wrong with my car whatsoever. They told me that my software had no updates and that they were able to connect three different phones to the Apple CarPlay/bluetooth. Including an android phone. I explained that I was very confused and asked about if they noticed anything wrong with the key fob. The man stated that there was nothing in the service request about the key fob and that my boyfriend didn't mention anything. I pulled up the email and told him I was looking at it and it mentions the key fob. He pushed back and seemed very inconvenienced that I was asking for him to perform the service that I had scheduled. Later on, I called back and they still insisted nothing was wrong with my cars Apple CarPlay. I asked if they could do a hard reset or reinstall of the software because I was having trouble for a week with it and he said it wasn't possible and there was no update so it wasn't an option. He said if I was having trouble I would have to drop my phone off and leave it there, as I was at work, this was not a feasible option. I asked if when I go to pick up the car if someone can connect my phone for me, because it was apparently working for them. He said yes. I texted for two more updates after that and I was ignored. When we showed up to the dealership (over 8 hours after we dropped it off) and Arturo told me nothing is wrong with my car once again. They did not perform any sort of update/reinstall of the software because it was either not possible or "necessary." I expressed how I was frustrated because it has been giving me problems every month or so since I bought the car about a 18 months ago and Arturo responded "Trust me, I wish there was something I could do because we dont get paid otherwise." We asked if they can perform some sort of service and the guy says "unless we see it ourselves and have proof of it, we can't do anything." They brought out their "software guy" who was very sweet but then ended up admitting to us that he "can't keep up with technology these days." My boyfriend asked to see how one of the technicians connected their phone to my car and if they can do the same for my phone. Once they brought the car out, surprise surprise, nobody can show us how they connected to my car. All of a sudden it's STILL NOT WORKING. The guy who was helping us offered to drive us back to the shop where we saw service techs just standing around doing nothing. When my car was brought back they stood around confused, even at some point standing around a computer googling how to connect to CarPlay. It was as if they hadn't even laid eyes on my car at all that day. One tech offers to do a hard reset, something we were told was not "necessary," and my car still didn't work. We asked if this was proof enough that there was something wrong, and the techs respond with "not sure. I'll have to consult the website." It was about 4:30 at this point, and we needed to go. I was very frustrated that they had spent all day telling me that nothing was wrong, tried telling me that several people had connected to my car, which was untrue as they couldn't show us when we were there, and then still refused to offer help. I went back into the office and asked how many people were "able to connect to my car" and Arturo said 3. I told him how I have seen with my own eyes none of his technicians connect to my car. My car was there for over 8 hours and it was as if they were just now looking at it for the first time. I asked for corporates number and Arturo tried to just give me his business card, I had to repeat my request for him to finally write down a different number. I waited until the next Monday to write this because they told me that they were going to call corporate, which at this point in the day was closed, and give me a call back with next steps. I have not gotten a call back. I guess my next steps are to find a different Nissan to help me out. read more

Got a notice for a recall on my frontier, I scheduled an appointment and brought it in to get checked. As soon as I came in the service attendant, I wish I remembered his name, started to try and talk me out of leaving my truck. "Its going to be extra for this, this is not covered, this will happen next and its not covered, get this checked before we do this......" Just excuse after excuse, it was obvious he did not want me there. First and last time I ever deal with this location, I will drive the extra miles to take my vehicle to Tustin Nissan. Please read.. especially if you buying back your car.. PLEASE READ... especially if your buying your car back after your lease is up! I scheduled an appointment with Ken today (noon), to buy out the lease on my car. My contract said specifically, the only fee that would be charge , was $351.00. When I arrived, they told me Ken was not in since they had cut back on hours due to the CORANA VIRUS. so they referred me to the sales manager (I forgot his make but my paperwork says "FABRIZIO ES"). RED FLAG #1! After asking me for my name and basic information, a contract was written up. He then walked me to Jonathan's office. Once the paperwork was printed for me to sign, I realized I was being charged an additional $1620.00. The $1620.00 was being added to the total of the buy out. I inquired about it and Jonathan said he would contact your sales manager that had created the contract. The sales manager walked back in and I asked him about the additional cost. Sadly enough, he tried to charge me $1100.00 for a fee he claimed was to inspect the car. So I asked where the $520.00 were going to since it was also unaccounted for. He said, "oh yeah, those fees shouldn't be there. I'll have Jonathan remove it." RED FLAG #2! After going back and forth about the fees, He proceeded to tell me, the $1,100.00 were fees the state and government charge to make sure the car could be sold in good condition (LIE). So since I didn't sign anything stating that, nor did he tell me this prior to my vehicle being taken back, I asked him to show me where that was at on my contract/or in the service department fees. His response was, "it's a generic fee and there's nothing I can do about it!" I then asked why Ken hadn't told me about these fees, since I had previously spoken to him in detail about my buy out. His response was, "Whatever he told you, is out the door. Those fees are applied once you bring the car and we inspect it". RED FLAG #3! I then asked if there was anything wrong with my car, he said, "no, but again this is what we charge to pay the employees and the state." Being this was not my first time buying back a car, I phoned a friend believing maybe something had changed. After getting some direction and using words like, "I'll call the DMV", "consumer affairs", "I know it's commission he's trying to charge me", and "he added it to my contract as a total and not a separate fee with no explanation", the manager came in to the office and said, "ok, I'll wave the $1100.00 but not the $351.00 those are fees I have to charge you. Shame on you, for trying to take advantage of people during these hard times. I felt sorry for Jonathan who was doing my paperwork since he was caught in the crossfire. I was told there is a 24 hour surveillance with audio in Jonathan (F&I managers) office. We bought a 2017 Pathfinder SV at this dealership. At first I was impress because seems like the sales people were very nice and friendly... They even have a starbucks coffee machine... The sad part is the after sale, once they have the commission, I feel like they no longer care about you... My 1st complaint is that they should have told me that the car will only have 1 remote key because as a car buyer I'm expecting 2 remote keys... We already did the contract signing and when they gave us the key they said it only came with one remote key... They should have said that from the start and not after we had already signed the contract... Second, the remote key that they gave us is defective... The start button on the remote key does not work... The sales agent didn't demo the car remote key...(all the test drive that i've done they have always demonstrated how to use the remote key) I figured out why they didn't do the key demonstration, it's because the starter button on the remote does not work. The reason why we wanted to buy this vehicle is because the remote key has a starter button... I'm really frustrated because not only did they not tell us from the start that we only get one remote key, the one they gave us is defective... I wrote an email to Oscar, the manager regarding my concern because I can't get him on the phone... Never did he reply to my email... I contacted Patrick, the sales agent... He tells me that he'll give the information to someone that handles that... The day after he tells me since I purchased the extended warranty he said I just bring it to any Nissan and they should help me... I called a few car dealers in my area and they told me they won't know if it's covered.... So upto now my problem has not been resolved, the car we bought from them is 2days old and already i'm frustrated with our car purchase... Took my 2018 Nissan Versa in for service with DTC code P0101. Initial research prior to arriving at service department found it was related to Service Campaign reference# P9347, needing ECM reprogramming as part of California Voluntary Emissions Service Campaign. Upon arrival at service department and check in, Service Advisor informed me that the vehicle VIN does not fall under any active service campaign and that repair for technical service bulletins are subject to cost. Looking at Bulletin reference# NTB19-115a, it applies to vehicles registered in the state of California with ECM part number listed in Table A of the bulletin. So, why did service advisor only referred to VIN for eligibility and did not investigate further if the repair falls under Service Campaign Bulletin. Also, if repair was done according to the Service Bulletin (ECM Reprogramming) and Bulletin states "This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts and labor", why was I charged for the repair. My biggest complaint is not the cost incurred, but the Service Advisor did not take the time to listen to the customer and investigate further on something that Nissan has published. At the end of the day if the Service Advisor would just looked over the Service Campaign Bulletin (P9347 & NTB19-115a) and determine eligibility according to what was published, I would have no gripe about the situation. The fact that they do not honor their pricing online and have a price posted on website for you to get an idea of what you want to finance just to be told that it is incorrect and they have to go by what's on paper. I spent two days at this dealer. I looked online found this great deal so I decided to come in the next morning to find out it's all an error on the website. They still showed me the numbers as if it was correct till they wanted to run the credit that's when they said oh that information isn't correct but do you still want the car. So much for this trying to be hassle free. On day one we spoke to Louie their Sales consultant and he told us if we'd take the car at the price we wanted and we said yes but then once it came to walking back to the desk he jumped back to the original numbers. He kept going on calls with his Finance manager but seemed to be a hoax because it was all going in circles and they weren't going to meet our needs but kept saying they would. I did not catch the name of the gentleman who helped the following morning but he of course was saying we would get the deal that was online to tell us that it's untrue. They need to update their website ASAP because if the pricing was correct we would've had signed right away but false advertising to get the consumer to come in is disappointing. I went in for a recall thing (probably a gimmick but just in case, and I wouldn't mind being familiar with a dealership I could go to for maintenance, after not having much luck with them (Glendale Nissan, burn in hell)) and figured I could finally get my visors fixed (since it's been a few years). They said they had the parts and gave me a work order which included work on the visors. They got the work done quickly, and I got a car wash, which was great, but the visors were untouched. I was told casually that they didn't have the parts and I could go over to Parts to order them. Not what I expected. A few days later I found a sticker on my windshield and realized that I was also given an oil change, which was appreciated, but I just had one recently. This place goes the extra mile, but in the wrong direction. My last three vehicles have been Nissans, and I thought I'd always be loyal to them, but after some of this customer service I'm rethinking it. Maybe there are other brands out there. read more

I will try to keep this short but not sweet. I don't want to waste anymore time thinking about this place. I will try to keep emotions out and state the facts. The car. I love my car and the price I got because I used the website truecar.com to buy a new car and Stadium Nissan has a huge inventory. After I signed and was ready to go, it took an additional 3 hours to wait for one person to process all the financing orders. My sales rep was a cool guy but that's the only positive. Financing The snake signed me up for an extended warranty when I never even verbally committed or showed interest. He said the sales made a mistake which is BS. He never apologized he just said oh I can take that off. But! I paid one month of interest on that service I did not sign up for. Nissan also refused to refund the interest charge and it was big process to reverse the extended warranty because I had to wait forever and the snake never calls back. And i had to see his ugly face. Read the final contract carefully even if you are tired and you've been at the dealership 5 hours and it's midnight. Service I got 3 free oil changes with the purchase of my car but waited about 2 or 3 hours for each one. I could write a book about each experience but there is a character limit for reviews so I will just explain one story. I got sold on a steering fluid flush after one year. The D bag said if needed we can do it. They did it for me based on the recommendation. I was told this is an annual maintenance only and to check my car manual later. NOT true. It's not in the manual as a recommended regular maintenance item, just air filters. Most cars need this service at 50,000 miles. I had less than 12,000 mileage on my car. Also, I looked up that Nissan Altima have electronic steering now... So what did they check or charge me for... Just curious. Harassment I have blocked their number so many times but you will get spam calls from service and car sales to either sell your car or some other BS. I never get the same person when I call back. Still getting calls years later but I'm glad they reminded me to give a review to warn other victims. I will never go back even if I can buy a new car for a dollar. read more

Worst experience by far! This is my 3rd purchase with Nissan, long time customer. Talk about loyalty to customers, they have NONE whatsoever. Long story short the fuel system failed in my Titan XD (which Nissan discontinued in 2019)1k miles over the warranty, NISSAN told me that I was to blame by saying I didn't do my required maintenance on the truck bc NISSAN did not have record. I took my truck to my Diesel mechanic to get my maintenance because Nissan is so overpriced. I paid $250 for the first diagnostic only for them to tell me they need to open it up for more investigation which cost me another $1300 only for NISSAN to tell me it's 33k to repair. I called Nissan corp who stated that Nissan would not help, period! I called multiple times for an explanation left messages not one call back. I wanted to provide them with proof of my maintenance to help, but no response. I spoke with Taylor at corporate once and made several attempts to contact her again and left several messages with no return. I was even considering scraping my vehicle and purchasing a new vehicle with Nissan. When I get this fixed I will take my business else where. If you are reading this you should do the same. This place is, eh! I am not a big fan of Nissan's anyways and I am looking forward to my lease being up next year, but this location doesn't give Nissan a good name either. I always come here to service my car because they know my car better than anyone, but it takes years for my car to be done! I actually made an appointment on my most recent visit. My appointment was at 1:30 pm and I didn't get home until 4 pm. 4 pm?!?! That is insane for just an oil change. They do have amenities while customers wait like free WiFi, charging stations, coffee, tea, etc., but it's still annoying to have to wait that long for a simple service! They also told me they'd wash my car for free but it was obvious they just threw water on my car without actually washing it. Lame! Customer service is nothing to brag about either. It seems like the employees are forced to work here. I also don't like that they have personal convo's in front of customers. I have also seen them laugh in front of customer's which is very rude because it seems like they are laughing at the customers, even if they are not. There is a huge disconnect between customer and employee and it's not cool. I guess I will have to continue getting my car serviced here for another year but after that, I look forward to being done! read more

I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Pete this week, looking at a used 2020 Hyundai Sonata. Pete was extremely professional, and personable. I felt absolutely happy through the whole buying process, and ended up thrilled with my new Sonata. Pete was patient as well, as well as the whole team at Nissan.
