He said it was the best he's had and the gravy is very good. I had the waffle and it was great. The kids had omelettes and potatoes and they said it was very good. They serve large portions too ! I found this place after a quick google search. The food looked so I thought I'd check it out. The food was good. It give the food at least a 4/5. The service however, was superb. Daniel especially was very attentive. He was very polite, fast moving, and accommodated for our requests. My friend, who arrived late, had his food remade so it could be hot. If I had a restaurant I would want employees like Daniel. The team in general worked very well together. My drinks were always full. Always. When my coffee was halfway full, it would get refilled. When my waters was 3/4 full, it was refilled. I would gladly come back here and highly recommend a visit. read more

I took my family here on a Sunday. This is the spot for good breakfast food! I really enjoyed my plate which was a biscuit with gravy and sides, it was cooked in a true southern way which is hard to find around here. I would say if you are going to visit here just be aware that this is NOT an undiscovered gem. People know, and it is packed! Oh my goodness! Anything that tastes this good and feels this good going down the throat should be illegal. I am a breakfastaholic and I am not ashamed. All breakfasts are not created equally, but Stagecoach definitely knows how to get it right. I must admit that I am addicted to the same thing so I order it every time I go and maybe vary my side dish but I figure if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I always have the pork chop and egg breakfast. This comes with a choice of toast, muffin, or biscuit and a choice of grits, potatoes, and fruit ( like who the hell would want fruit with fried pork chops?). I generally opt for the fried potatoes which are real fried potatoes and not some sorry hash browns that came out of some big plastic bag of frozen crap. I opt for an English Muffin most of the time because while the biscuits there are okay, they are in no way comparable to what my very own mother could make me. Everything makes my taste buds happy and I'm out the door with a leftover container and only about $12 lighter in the pocket. I hear that the wait can be pretty ridiculous on the weekends, so I usually try to go at odd times to avoid the major crowds. The Elk Grove location is also delicious but for some reason the pork chops are a little bit better at the Florin location. Please try it out and make your tummy happy! P.S. - I have given up my relationship with the pork chop breakfast (it's still delicious though) for intimacy with the bacon waffle, scrambled eggs with cheese, and fried chicken wings. Pretty cute little restaurant! We came by and were a bit surprised by the location, it looked pretty small from the outside. It was also pretty small on the inside, sort of cramped. But the food was good. My husband and I got the chicken fried steak and my daughter a stack of chocolate chip pancakes. The portions here are HUGE. My daughter and I took food home while my husband finished his plate, though that wasn't really surprising. The customer service was good, the lady helping us was pleasant. The noise was what you'd expect from a smaller restaurant that was pretty full. All in all we'll be back for more breakfast for sure. read more

I would've given them zero star if Yelp has it. My bf and I came in to eat lunch on Valentine's Day but we didn't eat cause they have poor customer service. They were busy and they asked our names to be listed. We were the first people in the line but they called the black guy first, and eventually they skipped our names and called other black people. My favorite breakfast spot... I work during the week so I'm only able to enjoy on the weekends when they are packed. A few times I was to hungry to wait 20-30 mins for a table so I left and went elsewhere. The food is so good though and the service is just as good! "Miguel" one of the servers in there is one of the best ones! Really takes care of you and is attentive. All around great place. They also have a lunch/dinner menu but is only open til I believe 3pm everyday. Don't let the outside fool you. This is a little hidden gem. 5 stars from me! read more

Being new to Elk Grove, my husband and I are trying to find family ran businesses. We went in and loved that coffee was served by the pot, until we tried it and it was like warm water. Coffee should be just that, coffee. When we ordered our waitress was so nice. Our food was great so we decided we can always go by Starbucks after words and have a cup of coffee. Hubby and I stopped by for a late breakfast yesterday. They were busy but we were seated right away. I ordered short stack, bacon and scrambled eggs. My eggs were overcooked (like marbles), bacon tasted old, but the pancakes were the best I've had in a very long time. Hubby said his meal was edible, but nothing that wanted him to come back for. Hubby's fork was dirty which we gave to the server when we ordered our meal. She never brought back another one. We had water and coffee. Water glass was dirty which we told hostess, and she promptly brought another. The rim on the plastic glasses were chipped all around- yuk! We had to ask for coffee refill and water refill. Waitress just took order and dropped off food, never came back to check on us. We won't be coming back. The place needs some cleaning up. read more

To date this is THE BEST breakfast I've had EV-ER! I've never had servers nicer than the gals that helped us here. They were sweet, super funny, on top of everything. My boyfriend loves this place, and because I love him I go, but it's not necessarily something I crave. Soul food is a great weakness for me only because who can say no to some deep fried cat fish or fried chicken wings? Am I right or am I friggen right? The only thing is that this place usually leaves me feeling "unusually" lethargic, (consider the emphasis " ") I think the technical term is "the itis." I just hate that feeling of hating myself after I've eaten a meal. You know that feeling when you know your intestines are yelling at you and cursing your very existence. Plus the seasoning on each of the items are very mild so your body knows that it's just grease your eating before it even digests it.
