Avoid Stanton Optical at all cost. I should have trusted my gut. On 02/01 I had an appointment, which took a very long time to be seen. After being seen, it took another 30 minutes for a sales rep to help me. I ordered three pairs of glasses and was told they would be ready in two weeks. At the two week point, I started calling and was told they were still wait on the lens, Wednesday for sure. Wednesday came and I was told they still did receive the lens and that my sunglasses were lost. That everything should be done Thursday by 5pm, guaranteed.. it now Thursday, I stopped by the store, waited 20 minutes for some to help me (who was very nice) but was told that my entire order had been sent to the wrong store. I asked for a full refund and was told I had to come back the next day.. Stanton Optical needs to understand that their client's, for the most part, are lower middle class to low income. if you see their ad saying 2 glasses for $59, ignore it. STAY AWAY from this shady business. This place has shady business practices. You literally have only 20 ugly glasses to choose from. but they won't tell you this until after you have wasted half an hour choosing your glasses. my kid did the exam, we were told to look for glasses, then told it cost $400. when we asked about the 2 for $59, that's when they pointed at a little wall on one side. also no warranty. it just happened my kid glasses were broken and need replaced soon. you also have to wait 2 weeks which they did not disclose until the end. employees were trained to LIE and not disclose. this needs to be reported to Federal Trade Commission for violation of consumer rights. read more

Update I did call yesterday & was on a hold so long I had to hang up. Its not the money, I would gladly paid for quality & service. First off selection is very small for 2 for $59. I would go to a different location. Ive never had glasses before. I wasn't given any advice on fitting or measurements like my coworkers have. This locations seems short staffed & not interested. Went in for the 2 for $59. I was charged over $230. Then I offered my insurance card.. again wasnt asked. I selected 2 pairs with eye exam paid $130. One is too heavy & loose. the other is too tight. Took my son in for an eye exam today and we had a really great experience. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to get an appointment within an hour of calling and there was no wait to see the doctor when we arrived. Had my kiddo not needed such a strong prescription, they would have been able to make his glasses right then and there. I really enjoyed the young lady that helped order my son's glasses. She was so sweet and helped my son feel more comfortable about needing to get glasses! The only tip I have is to not go in expecting to get two pairs of glasses for $69 and a free eye exam! LOL! The frames offered for that deal are hideous and I would NEVER have put my child in them!!! :) However, I still found their prices to be reasonable and they DO legitimately have that option available (and it isn't just one pair). I don't usually complain and I tend to look at the bright side of everything, BUT this place is disorganized, there's only ONE person if any who care about the customer I think her names Heather? It could be she's just trying to get the job done. You can tell she's frustrated and shows there is a HUGE lack of support. The eye "doctor" shows NO care/concern for patients eyesight/visibility. Ran through everything fast making one confused and just picking whichever (1 or 2) option seemed right. There was a "special" 2 glasses for 59.00 ended up paying almost $400 dollars for both pair of glasses. Visited this location today. I was promptly welcomed in, and even though I didn't have an appointment, I was seen, got my glasses and everything in less than one hour. I went in for the 2- $69.99 special...it didn't quite work out that cheap because I had some unforeseen eye prescription issues but it was worth it in my opinion. Their price was better than what my insurance "covered." From start to finish, HEATHER helped me. She was super nice, very knowledgeable and so friendly. I brought my wife to Stanton after our puppy ate her only pair be of glasses. Needless to say she was very upset. When we arrived we were greeted by an associate named Isabelle. What a treat..she was so patient and helpful. We left with a pair of Glasses for my wife and another pair that we had to wait for, for only 12 days. The price we paid for both pair was only $300.00. This is $200.00 less than we paid for the one pair that our puppy ate. Plus with the frame plan, I can get a free pair of frames worth up to $119.00 for free when I order my glasses. I walked in 5/18/20 well under an hour before closing. A few days earlier I had an appointment with LensCrafters and wanted to get a pair of prescription sunglasses. I noticed they had a Groupon for $150 for a "complete pair of glasses" finding options under $150 proved difficult but I eventually found two pairs I liked enough to try on. As I waited others cane in and were helped I sat and waited, be assured someone would be with me shortly. The associate told me the lens was not included with the frame so basically $150 would be taken off the total. It left me paying a small difference which was fine. I was told the order would be ready in 2-3 weeks. It's been 4, last week I tracked it and said it would be there 6/9 that has since disappeared. I called the 800 number and they couldn't verify anything at the store. Meanwhile it took just under a week for LensCrafters to deliver my regular frames. Clearly you get what you pay for. I went there because my insurance doesn't cover the eye exam and they offer it for free. You actually pay the $45 fee first, then they discount it from the total price of your lenses. The optometrist was in a rush because they had other customers outside. She was checking the sight of my 10 yr old son, and she never talked to me, not once. As a mom of a minor I could've given her some info about his previous exams. My son has a high graduation and she said out loud to herself -since she didn't talk to me- "OMG! Poor kid". Then he asked why she said that. As a healthcare provider she should have more empathy. She was distant and cold. I didn't like the sales staff either, they were going to charge $390 for 2 pairs of glasses, then when I said I will buy them in Costco. They magically dropped the price to $280.
