Small location big flavors! Loved the customer service and the quality of the shrimp! They have garlic bread which is the game changer here. It's a small corner restaurant but you feel at home. They have lots of options and lemon pepper fries are our thing. Highly recommend the full experience with all flavors mixed in ingredients. Prices are fair for a group of 4 with 4 pounds of shrimp + drinks snd Michiladas $150 Tab. 10 stars!

I seriously drive 40 minutes just to eat at Star Crab in Upland California , and it's worth it every single time. Their Cajun shrimp Full House is hands down the best -- perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and always cooked just right. On top of the amazing food, the service is always incredible. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. If you're in Upland, this spot is a must-try! I wish I posted a picture of the food, but it was too late. Everything was done.

We ordered takeout and the lady was so kind and thorough. We ordered the shrimp bucket with double clams and an extra order of shrimp. We got our shrimps peeled and head off. We ordered the medium level Full House sauce. So much sauce and the corn and potatoes were also soo good. Not a fan of sausages in general but the ones here are good. The price is reasonable and the food is clean and plentiful. Will definitely come back and order more.

Amazing food!!! Super fresh!!! Amazing service!!!! Love this place!!!

I have been craving crawfish all day but I have been at work so I decided to do some research and found this place and called to make a to go order. I picked it up within 30min and the food was delicious! My cravings for crawfish had been satisfied. They also put so much sauce it's perfect! Now I have extra sauce I can use for home recipes .

SO GOOD! 3 pounds of shrimp, 1pound of crawfish for 2 people! About $106 not bad!

The owner is the sweetest human! She goes out of her way to make sure everything is good enough for each customer. I love the quirky things she does like serving refills with a measuring cup, she sits down with you to take your order and she can have a conversation! Also, it's so nautical in here! Her decorations are cute and silly. And the food is sooooo good. I've tried serval seafood boils around town and nothing compares to this authentic flavor!

I was in town for a day and stopped by this location. i was greeted when i walked in. the lady in the front was doing it all so we had a slow start to ordering but she was so nice. the restaurant feels really homey. i started with a raspberry tea which is free refills. i never had crawfish in my boil so i tried it with the shrimp full house sauce and i think medium spice it was so good. The corn was great my potatoes were a little too soft for my liking. if im ever back in town ill definitely be back.

Let's start with the inside... Small, themed, clean and up to par. Service: we happened to be the first people to arrive with a child. They were running late (4:30, opens at 2:30), very friendly and accommodating as well thinking we were waiting for a long time but we assured them that we were not and just arrived as well. The food was standard. Now that 911 sauce and Crazy sauce I had used for dipping definitely grows into a strong heat so if you're into spicy then that's the heat you really want. The lemons are rationed but I understand that since since I see other places that carry a bunch of waste. We had a little back and forth about the sauce since extra was for bag only but once we got it together that's when the bowls came out and it made all the sense in the world. The wonton soup! Amazing, as well as the extra fried chicken. Places usually don't get it but they got that extra frying to perfection. Crab and scallops were cooked well, the lobster just wasn't done right and came out in its own bag. Once they figure that out, it would have been a tip top meal. 3/5 stars just for the lobster as it was the most expensive thing we got and don't forget you won't spare any expense as crab was 36/lbs, scallops 35/lbs, I believe the lobster was 40 or 50/lbs so all in all for two and a baby.... Leftovers were brought home happened to be around 236+ a 30$ tip! Will definitely still come back though!!! 3/5 for the lobster and late upon opening and service was good just a bit lacking waiting on us to figure everything out for them.

Love this place! The owner is so sweet. My family was craving seafood so we decided to stop by on a Saturday night. It gets very busy on the weekends. The space is pretty small so keep that in mind if you have a larger group. There were a few large groups that came in after us and waited a long time for a table because they had to find smaller tables to put together. We ordered Calamari for an appetizer and the "Blue Star" family bucket with an extra 2 lbs of shrimp. The Calamari was decent and I wish they gave more calamari than french fries. The seafood was cooked perfectly and their sauce is sooo good!

I didn't get a photo before i was too excited My boyfriend and i got shrimp , snow crab , potatoes, corn and cajun fries. Bomb bomb bomb so good got my mouth watering and my nose running!! Genuinely flavorful and spicy. The owner is very sweet and talks to all the customers. She has a beautiful restaurant and amazing food. Bossanova playing its very cute here.

Came here for a celebration with my daughter first off they were very accommodating to the space for us to eat with her, second off service, even with just 2 servers they did their best to come around to us again to check on us, while the space is small it has charm, now the boil lord have mercy that boil I've been to spots in Vegas ,spots local to us ,spots in the east coast when I was stationed over there and this is in its own tier lord have mercy the sauce was thick with seasoning I'm tired of watery ass boil and this was perfect this will be my go to spot, portions were insane I'm usually a big back and can finish my bags but I had to take some home as for their hours for people reviewing about it I asked and they are dealing with personal issues which is prompting them to open at 4

The place was pretty empty, yet the service was still very slow .To be fair, there was only one girl handling everything!! seating guests, taking orders, and serving food, while another man would occasionally come by to drop something off and then disappear. The food was the biggest letdown. The sauce was extremely dark, thick, and bland, with abt 6 large bay leaves in it. It also had a very bitter taste that overpowered everything. On top of that, the menu is very limited, only two combo options. If you want crab and shrimp together, you're forced to buy them separately, and it's not cheap The only upside was that they had a deal where if you spend over $70 before tax, you get a free item from a selected list. Also, the crab meat and shrimp themselves were very meaty and fresh, which is the main reason I'm giving this place two stars instead of one. Overall, I wouldn't return. The food , service and price just weren't worth it.

(Not sure if he's the manager now or a different person, but every server here is polite and efficient). Typically I…read morevisit seafood boil places that aren't connected to a chain , and are standalone establishments. This place has only inside seating (about 30-40 tables roughly , with 10-15ish of them being booths). I would have preferred and option for outside seating , but this spot didn't have that. Staff is friendly and very attentive. We were seated almost as soon as we walked in , this was on a Saturday around 3:00pm. Menu was simple to read and provided many different options for however you wanted your boil without any confusion. Menu options were fairly priced , I'd say. Shrimp was $19.99 per pound and there were options for head on or head off (additional $2). For the snow crab, it's always market price and that day it was on the pricier side of $51 per pound (ouch) , but makes sense. We didn't get any other types of seafood but there were bundles that are offered with smaller seafood types (mussels, crawfish, shrimp and clams (I think), lol. The staff provided bibs, gloves and necessary tools for crab cutting. Food: we purchased fries as an appetizer and they were freaking delicious ! Hands down, the best fries I've had in a long time . I pretty much ate the whole basket smh, before my boil even got to me. I believe they use the mild Cajun spice for the fries and also they are crispy and soft , providing fry lovers with something to talk about for sure. And also not that expensive and a huge portion served for $7 (this a deal for deals). For my boil I ate the shrimp , added corn , potatoes and andouille sausage, with Cajun spicy flavor. I had no complaints , the flavor was there and complimented my purchased food items very well. My daughter opted for all the flavors , as she doesn't like spicy and it also tasted great with her shrimp , crab and corn. No complaints there. Entertainment : the tartar btw does have several tvs around , and also music is up to date playing hits from 90's and up. It was a little too loud , as you had to pretty much talk over the music to hear whomever from across the table, but again, I like to choose outside seating to avoid this lol. Bathroom is clean and shared , with individual restrooms with doors (no stalls). Parking: lot is connected with other establishments and there were plenty of spaces to park. I personally had a good experience , however if others don't, I can understand because I did witness a few folks who were getting seated after us and it did take a while for staff to get to them, so organization/communication would be better with that, but that's about it.

When we first walked in, the place looked empty, and my wife and I almost considered leaving. Just as we were about to head out, a server came over, seated us, and explained the menu. The $45 menu is extensive, featuring a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes such as escargot (ốc), pho, and bò né (Vietnamese sizzling beef steak), among many others. We ordered escargot with tamarind sauce, oysters with cheese, a lobster special, rau muống (water spinach) with garlic, glass noodles, and a ribeye steak. This isn't a typical buffet--each dish is cooked to order. It took about 15 minutes since there were only two chefs, but the wait was absolutely worth it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served piping hot. The lobster was a whole lobster with claws, and the ribeye was a generous cut served sizzling at the table. The portions are large, and our server kindly warned us ahead of time--we're glad we listened! The owner was friendly, and the service was attentive throughout our meal. My wife and I loved this place and will definitely be coming back. It's great to have quality Vietnamese food nearby without having to travel all the way to OC.
