I believe that Sandor is a reputable man but his employees not so much. The first time I brought my car in was impressive second not so much. I had called and told him I'd be dropping it off after work. So I made sure to clean out the cab and the trunk of my car. And looking it over very well because I've just learned that is beneficial. I wasn't in a hurry so I had told Sandor no hurry. Sandor has always been a pleasure to interact with until I picked up my car the second time . Once I got my car back I inspected it and there was 4 burns on my trunk plastic molding. So I messaged Sandor and he called the next business day and said Chris the person who worked on my car was sick so he'd talk to him and get back to me. Well 10 days went by and I wrote a review on Google and he called me immediately. When we finally talked he demanded I take off my review and was yelling at me and he just kept talking over me that he has too much integrity for bad reviews. I do not smoke cigarettes the person that worked on my car had a pack in his pocket when I picked up my car the first time. So I looked again at the burns and there's even white paper burnt in the plastic . So I dont know how he can be so sure what goes on when each car is worked on unless he over sees ever job there or has a camera in all the areas cars are worked on. And if that's the case he could review my car being worked on and then he could be 100 percent sure. But I know it wasn't burned when I dropped it off. So I guess I'll have to take legal action. I dont really want to but if I dont hold them accountable others might have their cars damaged and that's not right. read more

I was back for my B5 service on my SLC300. They provided an estimate of services to be done. When I returned to pick up my car the cost was more than $100 less than the estimate. This was an incredible experience! I don't want it to get me in on an appointment fairly quickly, but they took care of my vehicle without making me feel like I was over paying for anything. Brought my 2017 Sprinter for multiple services there. Upgraded to 2019 3500 RV and serviced once with oil. I requested they look at an issue with the automatic door. When I mentioned to owner that I had extended warranty, he then gave me excuses of why he didn't look at it when I picked it up. I've been calling for "Service B" and asked again to address the door. I now get no return phone calls. I would not recommend this company to anyone! read more

**BEWARE OF THIS SHOP*** This is by far the worst experience dealing with this shop. I recently brought in a car due to a drive shaft failure and a bad air shock. I have a warranty with a small deductible, which all parts and labor where covered according to the warranty company. I was told that the driveshaft being supplied was subpar and they didn't want to install it. I agreed and figured they would figure out a viable option for a better one. But after another two weeks I ended up having to find one myself and paid for it myself. When I called to have them pick it up from a local drive shaft company they refused saying that they didn't have the man power and they would mark it up to a reduclous price. So I ended up having to deliver it to them, still that wasn't that big of a deal just wanted my car to get done it had been 3 weeks. I figured it would have gotten done relatively quick but Lee had let me know that they didn't have the air shock yet. Well it was approved the first week I had brought the car in and they just needed to have the warranty company send it out. Either way it was another week for the part to get there and I finally get a call that my car is done after a month. I was told that they owed me some money because I had purchased the drive shaft and that covered my deductible which was hundres more then my deductible. I show up to pick up my car and was told that now I had a credit for the next time I had my car in. What makes you think after having to buy my own parts and waiting a month to do a couple simple repairs that I would bring my car back to you guys plus if you owe some money you need to pay that back to the customer not a credit, really. I walk out to get in my car and there was dry bird poop all over my car (100 degree heat outside) which had etched my paint. The interior was filthy, had greasy hand prints on the side bolsters that is a fabric which is now stained. The car smelled horrible and still have not been able to get the smell out of the car. I just don't understand how a shop that works on high ended cars releases a car back to a customer like this. Now I have to get the interior detailed and some wet sand and buff on my paint to fix the damage. I would high recommend not using this shop. I am sure that the owner will leave a nasty reply stating this is somehow my fault. But no one should have to pay for there own parts, have to deliver there own parts , be owed money thats not paid out and then show up to find that there was damage there cars paint, greasy hand prints everywhere and it stinks like Indian food. We had our first experience here after getting a estimate for over $10k on a $25k ML350 Bluetech. They found that the most expensive item didn't need to be fixed for 2 to 4 years. Now, several weeks later I found they were correct. They fixed the item causing the oil leak, breaks, and more for $2700. They saved us 73%. My experience with Star Tech Mercedes has been 5 stars. I had been driving with annoying surges that continued to get worse for well over 2 years. Our regular mechanic recommended that we take our GLK to Star Tech. They truly know the nuances of Mercedes. The problem was quickly diagnosed and repaired at a very affordable price. I have no reservations of using them in the future and recommending them to all Mercedes owners. They are true professionals. Beyond Outstanding! (And amazingly affordable). I took in my 2014 S550 4Matic for a cabin heating issue. With a MSRP of $110,000, I figured this repair would be at least $1,000. I am also in the process of starting an new company AND moving to Spain-it's been an expensive few months. Repair cost? Under $400. Sandor and Maria were amazing! They quickly and accurately diagnosed the issue, charged minimal labor, and earned my business for life. As I vetted them a little further, rest assured they have the current Mercedes scanners and tools-exact same as the overpriced dealer. Additionally, they make you feel like family. Be sure to say high to Bailey, the shop dog! As I plan to spend the summer months in CO, my S550 will certainly be back and I'm sure my 560 SEC AMG will be in shortly! I own a 1986 Mercedes 560 SEL. The car had one owner before me. I happened to see the car on a little import car lot on West Colfax in Lakewood and bought it without hesitation. The dealer, who is now retired, took it to Star Tech for a couple of things I wanted fixed before closing on it and he recommended I keep taking it there. It's been about six years now. I've had Star Tech work on it when needed. It's running great at 93,000 miles. Star Tech's prices are well below what you would pay at a Mercedes dealer. I once took mine to Mercedes Benz of Littleton for an alignment and never will again. They broke my radio antenna. That would never happen at Start Tech. The folks at Star Tech Mercedes are very nice to work with and I've always been more than satisfied with the work. read more

I have to say that I was having incredible worry and anxiety over a repair that I was struggling to fix in previous attempts. I was misled to the tune of $1800 on driveshaft I didn't need that fixed nothing. I called Sandor and he knew of the issue. In one day they diagnosed and fixed the issue. An employee of his who specializes in Sprinters knew a solution to the problem. It was apparent that everyone at this business studies and knows the latest information about all of the cars they fix. So, wifey has a Mercedes and its not under warranty....time to find somewhere OTHER than the dealership. Thanks to some wonderful Yelpers out there, we headed to Star Tech to get the front brakes done. Kind of a weird location since you go through the Home Depot parking lot to get there, but it's not hard to find at all. Walking in, the waiting room is clean and drop off was easy. They called a few hours later and told us what it needed and their estimate....very very reasonable considering what they were doing. They had it done when they promised and walked through the repair and what it might need going forward. Sandor even took the time and effort to explain that some of the warning lights were on due to a recall and that we should contact the dealership and have them fix it for free. Impressive! This family takes pride in their business and, as others have said, it really shows. You feel good about using places like this! The shop itself was so clean that you could eat off the floor.
