I need to update my review to five stars because the food has been excellent! My go to order is the chicken chop salad with either grilled or crispy chicken. Sometimes I'll order the garlic Parmesan wings and lemon pepper wings. The portions are big which is always nice. I usually order from their app and they fulfill my orders fast every time.

Bloody chicken wings. Showed it to a staff member and said "it's the bone." I know it's the bone, but is it supposed to be bleeding like that?!

I ordered the children's meal. There were 5 pieces of chicken nuggets. It was freshly cooked and crispy! Service was great I used the kiosk to order. Staff is very helpful and professional. Restaurant is clean and very organized. Ambiance has a farm kitchen feeling. Great service, tasty chicken!!!

The food scene is very competitive in Marin County and for casual diners, It's no different. This was my first time eating at Starbird's and the food was amazing. The Indian seasoning definitely brought a new twist to fried chicken. The Masala street fries are highly recommend! In addition to delicious food, the staff was excellent and the prices are reasonable.

Wonderful experience ill definately go back. Cant wait to try their Japanese BBQ Bird next! Service was perfect i took pics of an employee flouring the chicken freshly made. Ambiance was fun and they greeted you as you came in.

I have been ordering from here since they first opened and love all of their salads as well as their rewards program. I enjoy trying the seasonal salads and and am happy that the elote salad made it onto the regular menu (the California Gold BBQ seasonal was also really tasty so I hope it comes back). I like the green goddess cobb and Thai Chicken salads from the regular menu as well. The drinks are delicious too, I especially like the ginger beer. Service is consistently quick and reliable.

Starbird is a nice addition to the Town Center. They've got a fried chicken sandwich that stands up well to the Chick Fil A and Popeye's ones, while being distinct enough to have its own flair. Their special sauce goes well with everything on the menu, and they even have house made sodas from the fountain machine that are actually pretty good. They also rotate their lemonades and teas. One time I got Thai tea and it wasn't half bad. I'm not a huge fan of their slaw, which feels like it's trying too hard to appeal to the health-conscious folks. Don't expect much in the way of customer service or employee interaction. They really expect you to use the self serve kiosks, and if you need any extra sauces or have an issue with their order, they can take a LONG time to notice you standing at the serving window looking for help. Pricing is in line with what you'd expect for a small lunch or dinner in a place like this here in Marin -- you'll probably spend $16 or so on your order, assuming you get a drink and leave a tip.

quite mid i thinkkkk, i still ate down though and their fry portions are quite generous, i wish i could try all their sauces.

Came in while doing some Christmas shopping and quickly realized that this is a popular place. They have 2 kiosks at the door where you can order yourself and someone at the counter who is eager to help. We had the Big Star & the starbird and both were tasty. We had never been here so we ordered our own fries but the portions are so large that one order can be shared. Their berry lemonade is a MUST try. Fyi, no bathrooms inside, but the shopping center bathrooms are right next door.

Not everything tastes like chicken here, there's a special kind of taste to their chicken. Can't miss the location with all the bright yellow chairs, decor, signage, etc. Took over the former Baja Fresh location. Not only are their wings and chicken sandwiches phenomenal, the salads are ginormous and tasty. My daughter makes two servings out of their bountiful salads. I like their orange chicken salad. The DIY kiosks are really convenient, makes ordering fast and easy. There's plenty of parking in this shopping center. Kid-friendly and dog-friendly. My kids still love coming to this Town Center with me, and they're grown adults now. 'Til next time ~ cheers and see you on Yelp (SYOY)!

I'm a sucker for Fried Chicken. It speaks to the Seoul of a Korean person lol. With that being said My son and I actually stumbled upon this place by accident. We were actually looking to go to The Counter but they were permanently closed (Say Whaaaat?!). Since it was our first time here our person behind the counter was very thorough explaining everything and asked if we wanted all the things on our order. He also followed up with us which is a nice touch. They also have ordering kiosks if you want less human interface. I like how they have an interesting twist on their menu. They have the right amount of selections to choose from. I was really tempted to try the Seoul Star or the Nashville Hot Chicken Sando but I'll save that for next time. I ended up getting the Cali Bacon and my son got the chicken wings. The Cali Bacon had the usual lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and a real interesting mayo with liquid smoke and a dash of sugar and pepper. It added a nice flavor profile to the sandwich. One cool feature of this place is that you can choose between the flats or drums when ordering wings. I thought that was kinda cool, especially for my son. He didn't care though lol. We both ordered fries but it was actually too much food and we wasted an order of fries. Had I known I would order just 1 fries as I really don't like wasting food. They also had a few chick salads which looked amazing. Order neighbor next to us ordered one and she was looking like she was enjoying it. Again, a decent sized serving. Their drink selection is pretty cool too. It's sourced from a local alameda based small batch beverage company. They had interesting soda flavors but I went straight for the Peach Iced Tea which is one of my favorites next to... Beer. One of the things I really appreciated was the bright, clean atmosphere. They did a good job designing the interior with clean tile, bright to medium woodgrains and splashes of yellow in both signage and tile. The last interesting point is the the bathrooms are external. It's right next door which isn't a big deal. This location is in an outdoor mall environment, hence the external bathroom. Overall a great place and I'll definitely be back to check out the Korean style sando and a salad. Enjoy!

It took almost 10 minutes after we arrived for someone to greet us- not sure why. However we were seated outdoors as we requested which was appreciated. The decor is bright with gorgeous colored tiles. The menu looked terrific, however we weren't provided the special vegan menu without asking for it. Wow, we were impressed with the dishes listed. We started with the chips & salsas- the chips were just as I like them; thin, crispy with salt. My sister had the vegan enchiladas and her husband the vegan pozole which he raved about. My son had the trio of carnitas tacos and was quite satisfied. I thoroughly enjoyed the veggie (not vegan as I love my queso) chile rellenos - they were divine. The sauce was perfectly flavored. We shared the churros for dessert- a bit disappointed as they were not crispy & a bit doughy on the inside. Our server was friendly and the prices were reasonable. All in all a great experience and would return.

A few folks outside some inside. This made ordering quick and easy, and the food was prepared quickly; a benefit for us, perhaps not for the business. The place is still attractive and clean, with plenty of tables outside and inside. I did not that, as my last visit, there is no shade really provided for the outside seating, save ONE small umbrella. Ugh - not sure what the issue is, and being it was a sunny day, we opted to sit inside as much as the patio called to us. The inside is nice, too, though, and there is easy access to the soda fountain machine and condiments. There are still self-ordering kiosks, large digital menus, and of course, you can also order through the app (even if standing inside!) or at the counter. We ordered a bit of each - side, main, and dessert! There was a portabella "'Shroom" burger (with a crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun), cheese fries, a mac 'n' cheese, chicken bites, and a Key lime shake, a special offering! Damn the calories, full taste ahead! The food was indeed prepared quickly and served hot. The Shroom burger was my favorite last time, and for taste and texture this time was also delicious and good. The cheeses inside were melty-gooey, and the mushroom crispy. It was, though, much smaller than I remember - it fit within my hand! A con, against the price, for what is a nice option for veggies or anyone wanting a change in their burger. The chicken bites were smaller than expected in size, more like nuggets, but tasty. The mac 'n' cheese was also tasty, but also a bit small for the price. The fries are always good, and in this case, you need to dig to the bottom early on to scrape some of the melted cheese that dripped down back onto the fries. Very yummy. But the best part was the Key lime shake, a flavor I just love (cheesecake is my favorite iteration of this flavor) but this milkshake satisfied me greatly. A little pricier than their everyday shakes, but how often so you find a unique flavor like this! A win! Overall, a solid 4-stars for food flavor and quality, and also for ambience and environment. Price wise, it was about $40 for two of us, so not a great bargain, but given the economy today I have the same financial shock at other places as well. Still, a nice treat and we left happy.

The burgers are big, the sides are generous, and everything we tried was genuinely tasty. We split a burger and fries between two people and both left completely satisfied. That's a testament to both the portion sizes and the quality. You're getting real value here. The menu has a wide variety of burger options, and they've put some thought into the kids' menu. They also do catering for birthdays with sliders and different options, which is a nice touch for families. The space itself is versatile. There's a great bar area with TVs if you want to catch a game, but also plenty of seating for more intimate meals or larger groups. It's very family-friendly without feeling like a kid-only zone. The staff was attentive throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. Parking is a breeze since it's right on the outside of the mall. The veggies with hummus felt thin for what you pay. For two people at lunch this added up faster than expected, on par with the other locations but still pricey for what lands on the tray. Ordering was smooth and the service was great. Food came out fast. The space is bigger than you'd think, with indoor and outdoor seating under umbrellas, and we had no trouble grabbing a table inside even with a crowd. What arrived was such a major departure from the expected I had nowhere else to air the case, so now here we are. What arrived at the table was essentially a kind of thickened clam broth. Not flour & water library paste thick. but with the right pasta would have been an ersatz linguine alle vongole (less actual clams). Or adding potatoes would make it the soup of the day which I've been noticing more often on menus is termed "potato chowder". I figure to a marketing kind of mind calling this bland goo a chowder lends a certain cachet that mere "soup" lacks, for whatever that'$ worth) Where was I? oh yeah, i should add that neither potatoes nor pasta were in this clam soup, but to avoid a claim that the order didn't meet the "clam" description, it did include clams. However the clams were all in shell, half-open and floating or submerged in the broth. Not what I expected and definitely messy to fish them out. And of course, it's a chowder so where were the potatoes? But the clams were fresh and with enough sourdough to add the necessary carb load I decided on this cold wet night not to make an issue of this. So if you didn't complain, well you must have had no complaint... except I did. The bowl of clam chowder I was served looked nothing like the customer photo posted somewhere on your yelp page. I'll just stay with salads.

Came here - again! - for quick lunch, and as always, had great food and a nice lunch…read more The place was busier than expected at lunch, a good sign for a change. We were seated quickly, and the four of us quickly settled into our routine. Our server, Francisco, took some initial drink orders while we decided on appetizers. We finally settled on pickle fries, Korean fried cauliflower, and crispy fried cheese. I am seeing "fried" as a common denominator here! The appetizers showed up hot and tasty, and were quite a bit, so we delayed our entree orders as we all pivoted to new options, given out sudden fullness. However, we did go for a chicken Katsu bowl, two little house salads (like a typical simple side salad, but a bit larger in size), and a chopped salad, which is my personal go-to favorite. The food was tasty and fresh, and with a reload of the bread and butter, we could only order some desserts to take home - no sharing a piece today! The food was good, the service was friendly, although a bit absent at times - we did see him helping other tables across the dining room, and didn't see a lot of servers today, so perhaps a one-off, but we did wait a while between the appetizers and ordering the entrees, but not a typical service lapse here. Still, a good time, and good food!

As a teenager in Southern California I used to listen to a radio show with Elmer Dills, "The Dining…read moreDoctor". Mr. Dills always said that the first thing he did when entering a restaurant was use the restroom. If it was a mess he'd leave; the state of the bathroom, he argued, accurately reflected the state of the kitchen. Elmer Dills would have walked out of The Cheesecake Factory. On the evening of my visit, which began on a Friday around 5:40 p.m., I entered the women's restroom to what can only be described as an enormous mess. Trash receptacles were overflowing and each restroom had toilet paper and paper towels strewn all over the floors. If I wasn't meeting a friend here - who'd suggested the place - I'd have left. When I emerged I wanted to alert someone to the state of things. Not only was there nobody manning a host/hostess station, but there was nobody to greet guests or seat guests. When my friend arrived, we made our way into the bar area and as we did, I flagged down a server to tell him of the status of the women's restroom. At our table, we had to again flag down someone to take our order. A different person subsequently became our server and things were smoother from there on. Before leaving though, I again used the women's restroom only to find that it was still an utter mess. The food and drinks that arrived at my table were fine but the service levels and restroom cleanliness here render that observation moot. I recognize that The Cheesecake Factory is no longer in its heyday but based on this visit I'd surmise that they're close to expiration.
