Was wary about returning to this location after the last time I went here. Pleasantly surprised by the staff, friendly and well organized. All staff were waring masks, and was concerned for their safety and of their patrons. Very refreshing to see this kind of behavior with what is going on, felt safe coming to this location. Drinks were very good as well, and fast service. Will go here again in the future and hope that the good behavior and service continues. Would suggest people order ahead through the mobile app instead of waiting in a long line. read more

I don't know what it is about this location but they ARE SO EXTREMELY SLOW. Even when you plan ahead- your Mobile order is delayed... even when the line is short at minimum you're expecting to wait in line at least 15 minutes... there was 3 people ahead of me to put in their order. I arrived at 4:09 it's currently 4:25 and only one car has had the opportunity to order... I get it when there's one order holding the line up but the window seems to be taking forever with everyone. I stopped in this morning and they weren't taking orders at the cashier line? Only mobile and drive through? This place is awful. Every opportunity I give it- I wind up late every time and again I plan ahead. Just head to Dutch brothers and save yourself the headache. read more

My first visit to this location; literally asked Siri to find the nearest Starbucks and this is where she took me. It looks very new in a new area with other food options. It has a drive through, with plenty of parking. It has substantial outdoor seating, which is ok in the AZ winter, it was packed with people. Inside was practically cavernous; lots of tables for groups and individuals of various sizes. That day I saw a bunch of teens playing D&D! They don't have Nitro but at least the barista was polite, and friendly. Slowest Starbucks EVER!!! Got stuck in drive-thru for over 30 mins before I could even order. Then, after I did, it was another 15 mins to get to the window to pick up the drink that STILL wasn't ready! Constantly long lines. If you go through the drive-through, you're most likely gonna be waiting 30 minutes or more for a drink. They close down a few months ago in order to help fix the issue with new construction yet it still takes forever to get through the drive-through. Secondly the drinks are always poor quality. I ordered a sugar-free iced caramel macchiato and it had barely any ice floating on the top so it was warm milk, which was disgusting and the shots of espresso in it tasted like they were massively burnt. This is not a new drink to me so I know what it's supposed to taste like. And it was not good. $9 for a drink and it wasn't good. I ended up dumping it because I couldn't stand the taste. It's always a clean and nice place but the service and goods are subpar. Will take my buisness across the street to Dutch Bros for a reliable drink. read more

I cannot believe they only have a 2 star rating! I came here and it was definitely a 5 star experience! Stopped here on the long drive from SoCal to central AZ. Being a native of SoCal, I have definitely been to my share of Starbucks locations. Walked in and was amazed at how clean the Starbucks was! Every Starbucks I have been to in the past 5 years has been dirty with spilled drinks all over the counter tops. There was no such sight inside of this Starbucks! Floors, countertops, display cases, and product displays were clean! I ordered my drink and the barista was friendly. Received my drink and the order was correct and a good amount of whipped cream was on top. Used the restroom and the restroom was also clean! WOW! The only thing I did not like were the paper straws. My straw was bending and not very useful by the time I got to the last 1/3 of my venti sized frappuccino. Overall, 5 stars! I'll definitely stop here again. read more

Always a great experience. Sometimes the wait does tend to be a bit long, but nothing I'm not expecting especially considering I work at Dutch Bro's. With the location being in Verrado surrounded by neighborhoods full of teenagers it does not surprise me whatsoever that this location is always busy. I'm a cheer coach who practices in the mornings (5am-7am) and order ahead normally and am always pleased with my orders! Super friendly staff even in those early morning hours, always clean, usually trying their best to get everyone out ASAP! Definitely recommend this location! All I'd say is to try and get a trash can outside so that way customers don't have to keep going in and out to throw their trash away when wanting to sit on the patio outside. Otherwise, keep kicking ass guys! read more

This is by far the best Starbucks location in Arizona. The staff are so sweet and friendly! The location was recently remodeled and is very nice inside. The staff do an amazing job of making the location feel cozy and local, including a library of books, hosting craft nights such as candle making, and sharing information about the team there that helps you feel like your baristas are truly family. Their Instagram page @VerradoStarbucks is a super fun way to keep up with events, staff, new drinks, and more. I'm shocked by any negative reviews & they are probably from people who are just difficult and hard to please in all areas of their lives lol. The line is long? Well you saw how long it was when you chose to get in it. Unhappy with the ice to drink ratio? Take that up with corporate, these employees have nothing to do with that, pricing, the hot food items, etc. I will continue to take my business here!! read more

I have high hopes for this Starbucks and really hope they will get better. The person working the drive through window on 07/05/2024 between 11:50a - 12:05p should be removed. It's does not make sense to hand someone a drink that is clearly spilling over and not give them napkins. Especially if you had to wipe some of the excess off before handing it to me. Omg! So frustrated with this Starbucks! I asked for my iced coffee with light ice because I always get a cup full of ice with a little coffee. When I received my order, I got a 1/2 cup of coffee. I asked Megan (who was rude) why I got a 1/2 cup of coffee and she said it's because I asked for light ice. The cup was still full of ice and 1/2 full!!! Really Megan?! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE IN A HURRY!!! Im consistently waiting well over 30 minutes in the drive thru when the line is only 10 cars or less long. If you try and do a mobile order and go in to get your drink they constantly say "it didn't print" so you wait forever only to find out you will wait even longer. The drinks are also inconsistent as I order the same thing EVERY morning and sometimes I swear they forget to add the white chocolate at all. Ive started to drive to the nearest Starbucks drive thru at pebblecreek and McDowell and they don't have the issues that Verrado Starbucks has. Please get this fixed since this Starbucks is within our community and we want to like it but it's unbearable at this point!! read more

I think management needs to retrain their staff. It's very childish to say, but I think it's unprofessional that their staff will take a customers change (if paid in dollars) and assume and put it in their tip bucket without asking staff. Going forth is suggest all customers to only pay with card. Extremely unprofessional as I just watched the young man take my $1 and some change and put it in their tip bucket and I told him next time it's more appropriate to ask a customer if that's where they want their change to go versus giving it back to the customer. read more

First of all, this location is always either closed or don't have half the menu. Today I ordered the new strawberry funnel frap. As you can see in the pic, it doesn't even come close to what it's supposed to look like. There's barely any strawberry in it. And on top of that, they're out of straws? The worst Starbucks location I've been to. I don't usually write reviews but every time I go here it's majorly disappointing. I often order through the mobile app and end up waiting inside the store forever for my drink. I understand they are a busy location but 9 times out of 10 my drink that was ordered way in advance is never ready. If by some chance my order is ready, it's also often wrong. Tonight I went to pick up a mobile order and did not see it ready. Waited for a while before I said anything only to realize my drink had been sitting there but was completely wrong from what I ordered. Staff did not really acknowledge me and I didn't have time to ask for my correct drink. Just a huge bummer. Waste of my time and money. The slowest drive through I have ever been through. I've tried multiple times over the course of a year and it has never gotten better. Today I had 6 cars in front of me and I was in line for almost an hour. This was not an isolated incident. Like I said I've tried on multiple occasions and seriously, the drive through is a minimum of 30 minutes. How about instead of hurrying everyone through the drive thru with the 'ok what else' before they even finish their order, you take at least a slightly less forced approach and actually make the drinks right and the food actually warm. I loved the pile of crumpled up napkins too. There wasn't even a line and before I could put my HOT drink down (without a stopper) she basically has her arm through my window with the next thing. Guess I'm lucky my entire order wasn't just thrown into my car. I get the need to be efficient and serve a lot of customers but quality and even a speck of presentation count for something, no? I ordered my usual pumpkin cream cold brew. I love it because cold brews are usually too bitter tasting for me but the cream really gives it a good flavor . I was also craving something sweet so I ordered banana nut bread. It wasn't until I got to work that I realized they gave me a pumpkin loaf cake. I ate it anyways but it wasn't good at all. Super disappointed. The service is fast though even when the line is really long so that's a plus. read more
