Slowest service ever!!! And I have been to several Starbucks all around the country with faster service than this! It took more than 10 minutes for our drinks to be served to us, and there was more than 3 people working at the counter plus the drive thru. Worst Starbucks. We stop here because it's the only Starbucks on the commute to Santa Barbara, but we may have to just invest in a thermos and get coffee elsewhere. The drive thru ALWAYS takes forever. I go to a ton of Starbucks' across the central coast and this one consistently takes a very long time to get in and out. Any time we have gone past lunch time, they are out of cold brew, get the memo that you guys need bigger batches of cold brew if it's selling out by lunch every day! I haven't been happy with this particular Starbucks for awhile. I come in st least once weekly, about 8:30 pm. They are constantly out of the food and drink products I order and they tend to put away the food way before closing time. Then we are shooed out of the store 30 min prior to closing. None of this makes me feel very welcome. While a few of the employees are friendly enough, the rest seem to roll their eyes when we come in at 8:30. read more

I have been consistently using this Starbucks for over a year now. I'm your classic mobile order on the way to work person. They work hard to get the drinks out quickly and my order is always perfect. This location gets slammed -- especially in the morning. It's literally the only Starbucks for 20+ miles and there's a drive thru. There will be a wait sometimes and that should be expected. The employees have all been really nice to me and now, know me by name and what drink I order. I read complaints on here for cleanliness. This location is always really clean to me, even the bathrooms. If there is a lapse, I can only imagine it's due to all-hands-on-deck making drinks during peak times. read more

I have been coming to this Starbucks since it opened at least 2 times per week. Well, I was never impressed (and I go to a lot of Starbucks. Trust). In the beginning when they first opened the issue was getting my order correct with a dash of bad attitude from employees every now and then. I recently ordered a drink through their app only to find out their computers were down once I got to the location, that wasn't an issue thought. I get it. What was horrible was the condescending tone the employee talked to me while explaining it was down and the entire time he made my drink. 1) I'm not an idiot 2) if you are going to work dealing with the public, please, please don't treat your customers like they are bothering you because it CLEARLY shows. I go to this Starbucks all the time and have thought about leaving a one star review for years. I don't know who is training these people on drive orders, but every time I get to the speaker, they tell me to wait, and then they don't repeat the orders or tell you the price, they just say "see you at the window". I went through the drive through this morning it wasn't packed and with service from starbucks usually being the same I thought nothing of it. The girl rushed my order and didn't listen to me. Being allergic to dairy Ihad asked for soy and the girl taking my order disregarded me when I asked. I drove an hour to work to realize my whole drink was wrong. No one looked happy to be there and everyone was being rude. I love Starbucks but I always have issues when I go to this one. Just go to Albertsons across the street. read more

This Starbuck is in a good location right next to my hotel and close to the freeway. It does have drive through. I have been here several times and I understand being busy. But 3/5 times my drink has been wrong. Nerd Pro: Lots of space to spread out and study or work if you want. Nerd Con: They don't seem to understand the concept of diffusion because when I ask for milk in my tea (they no longer but milk out only half and half) they immediately but it in the cup. This stops all diffusion and thus stops the tea from actually flavoring the drink. So I am just drinking warm milky water. You don't have to let it diffusion long just so the water is light brown. read more

I am passionate about Starbucks unfortunately they have been closed for the last handful of days this is potentially acceptable if I can understand why. The root of my disappointment comes with not being able to understand why they are still excepting online orders when they are not able to fill the orders and I am unable to get my money back. We visited this store on our way to Fremont, CA on 8/17, 9PM. My husband left his cell phone in the store. We tried to call the store several times on Friday only got busy tones. We called 800 number for help, then the store manager Melissa answered the phone when we called again and she was very nice, saying she will FeDex the phone to us and send me a tracking number. I never got the tracking number. We waited several days and tried to call the store to check, only got answer message so we left several messages, but noone called back. We are trying to contact Starbucks helpline but they said we have to call the store to resolve this. We need the phone to contact our contractors. It has been a week. We don't know what to do. We are shocked at the communication issue with this store. Other store we called did answer their calls but said they could not help us. This has been the store we always visit on our way to visit our grandchildren...I think we need to find one that will answer phone calls in the future. I love Starbucks and I frequently get coffee at their locations when I go on long drives. Leaving Solvang, this was the closest location. While the drinks were great as always, the service was certainly not. We entered and got to the register (no line, only one or two people inside with their drinks) and waited more than five minutes for anyone to even say hello or address us. I understand they're busy, with the drive thru and all, but usually, when a place is busy, someone will say, "Sorry, we'll be with you in a moment!" But nope. Here, more than four workers made eye contact with us, walked directly in front of the register a few times. No one said a thing until someone from the back came out and took our order (she wasn't very kind either). Overall, not good service. read more

The worst Starbucks I've ever been to. -Ridiculously slow. -They get orders wrong. When you inform them the order is wrong you are met with attitude. -The store is filthy. -Bathrooms are filthy. -Re-stock food cart is parked outside of bathrooms uncovered. -When picking up a mobile order you have to interrupt and flag someone down to ask if it's ready. -No one acknowledges your presence or asks if they can help you. Not once in my 50+ visits. -Manager does NOT want to be there. It's obvious. Provided all this feedback though Starbucks website and nothing has changed in the almost year it has been open. I frequent this location at least a couple times a week. The only reason is so that I can customize my drink via the app. I've only seen maybe 2 faces more than once besides the manager who is a pill. Major shame. This adorable little Starbucks, on Highway 246 just East of the 10 in Buellton, has a fresh, clean, new feel to it, making me believe it hasn't been open long. There isn't a spec of dust or a scratch in the paint, nothing to mar the spotless perfection of it all. There is an outdoor patio area with tables, chairs and the ubiquitous dark green Starbucks umbrellas. Inside are the traditional Starbucks Earthy tones, but with a twist; most Starbucks have Earth tone paints, but this one has much more wood panelling than usual and even some dark red brick. It all still fits in with the Earthy tones, but add a variety of textures to the environment. The line wasn't particularly long and the baristas kept it moving pretty quickly. We received our drinks, a vanilla latte for my companion and a soy chai latte for myself. The drinks were made quickly and we were in and out of here in under 10 minutes from when we walked in. Very efficient service and drinks that meet the Legendary Starbucks standard are a win for me across the board. And don't forget - free wifi! read more

Everyone has been to Starbucks at least a handful of times. I am not a HUGE Starbucks fan but will go to one roughly once a week or so and, like most people, I've been to Starbucks all OVER the place both nationally and internationally. Why all this preamble? Just so you know where I'm coming from when I say that THIS Starbucks was the fastest, most efficient, and friendliest Starbucks I have ever been to. I went through the drive-through and there were four cars in front of me. Start to finish I was out of there with cup of coffee in-hand in (not exaggerating as I watched my clock) about two and a half minutes! The woman on the speaker- handling the drive-through customers was so pleasant and friendly- it was so refreshing! They processed my order perfectly and I was on my way. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped by this Starbucks before heading home after a weekend at Solvang. It was a bit out of the way, but the only Starbucks within the area. This Starbucks is huge and has a very nice feel/vibe to it! Plenty of seating inside, as well as outside. There's a drive thru as well! The baristas are friendly and I was surprised at how fast everyone was working! My caramel macchiato was made super fast (and correctly), and my bagel was heated up real fast as well. Dear Owner/Manager, Very nice space, primo location BUT the staff here seems terribly unhappy. Four of them looked up as we walked in (zero line) not one "Good Morning" or "We'll be with you in a minute"....all heads returned to the tasks at hand.
