Makayla, I can't recall the unique spelling of her name, was friendly and informative. At countless other SBux when ordering decaf I've received less than stellar service due to them having to do a pourover. She, however, was all smiles. I had run out of Sweetleaf stevia during this business trip but luckily this store had a stevia sweetener in addition to the usual sweeteners. read more

I am in the Santa Maria area for work and still have not been able to order the 'infamous' orange drink at this or the Lompoc location . I was told that the Orange Mango refresher was being discontinued and availability will be limited until the present stock is completely out. Then no longer available at all. It's a secret menu item so I don't hold them accountable. Disappointed yes, but more embarrassed by the way my request of the drink has been handled. Sadly they are completely out and no one seems to have ever made one at either of these locations. Maybe it skipped these locations entirely since it is so new. But huge ups to the higher power that set me straight and let me know the real scoop. Back to ordering coffee! What a novel concept. read more

I come to this Starbucks all the time. The staff is friendly and the time from ordering to receiving a drink is average. Some days faster, some days slower than average. It is a nice new establishment here in Buellton just East of the 101 freeway on Hwy 246. My only complaint is that the WiFi is painfully slow. If they could just speed that up then they will get the 5th star but all in all this is a great Starbucks. read more

Slow and dirty on multiple occasions. Writing this as I sit waiting in the drive thru. Baristas are usually friendly though!

Needed caffeine for the road. Ordered medium latte. They made it decaf, I guess by mistake. The first sip tasted sweet but bland, like flat soda and with no coffee flavor, so I was suspicious, but it can be hard to tell. However, even after downing the entire large latte, I didn't feel awake at all, and I am sensitive to caffeine. I had to drive the rest of the way to Oxnard while tired as hell. On way back, stopped by Coffee Cabin instead. Coffee tasted better and woke me up with two sips instantly. read more

This location is hit or miss. The people making the drinks are always considerate and everything comes out tasty. That gets them 3 stars. They loose one star because they the people running the registers do not know what goes into the food and front products they sell, and the food products they sell are not labeled adequately with allergen labels. They earn one star back because the baristas always give my service dog a puppachino. A small espresso cup with a little whipped cream at the bottom. read more

This is the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I love Starbucks and really wanted to like this one because it's close to my house, but I end up waiting until I'm in another town to get my coffee. The Buellton location consistently gets the orders wrong or makes the drinks wrong. There have been several times I've had to throw out the whole order. I wish I could say the attitude of the baristas was a saving grace, but they are so busy on their phones or (unnecessary) headsets that they ignore customers. When I've complained about them getting things wrong, they try to prove they're right. When they insisted they'd given me a hot drink after I told them it wasnt, I finally said "feel the cup" which was ice cold, like it was straight out of the refrigerator. read more

Every time I come to this Starbucks they always without fail get my Starbucks order wrong even if I'm the only car there. I've been coming to this Starbucks on and off since they open and I wanted to like this Starbucks so bad and used any excuse to justify them getting my order wrong. I even thought of a excuse when the barista taking my order was rude to me. I just can't excuse them getting my order wrong anymore. The store wasn't busy, and I definitely thought it was weird I didn't receive my drink in the usual 1-5 minutes it takes. Turns out someone else grabbed my drink. Ok, so they were really slow when they first opened, however, they've fixed the problem, and the service is a lot better now. I come here often to work on my computer, and have some coffee. It's true that this is a convenient location. Easy on and off the freeway. Thus the drive thru line will many times be WICKEDLY LONG!!! The crew seem able to get out the orders. But, every time I order my 'go to' drink, a 'Flat White' (grande), it comes out HALF FULL! It will have too much foam. My GRANDE seems more like a TALL, an EXTRA EXPENSIVE TALL. I do a mobile order and then pick it up. If I had more time, I might ask them to fill it up with steamed milk. But, that would defeat the purpose of doing a mobile order! 1st, id have to get their attention, which is not easy, as they are all running around, super busy. I understand such, as they have a very large cliental base every morning. My last visit, the Banana Bread was NOT heated as requested. BOTTOM LINE: 1) Don't do mobile orders, if you're your PICKY with what you like or how you want it. 2) Factor in an extra 5 min or so for your "IT'S NOT RIGHT! FIX IT!" speech. read more

Love, love Starbucks and was so excited to finally get one in our town but it is painfully slow. Not sure if it because they are all new or management. We have been three times and each time it took about 25 minutes to get two drinks. They also made our drink incorrectly on two of the visits. A mixed bag. Agree with a few reviewers - an extra shot in a standard cappuccino took really EXTRA time, though the place wasn't busy at all. Sometimes, they run out of food items or drink items that may be needed for what you want to order, but overall it is a wonderful place for fast food. The employees just walk around even while your waiting for someone to even Greet you let alone take your order! Then if you Do get helped, it's a forever wait for a coffee that most of the time isn't correct and has to be Remade! Staff is friendly but super slow. I go to this location often and it usually takes about 10-15 minutes for one drink and that's when they're not busy. It's takes longer if they're busy. Always plenty of staff so I don't understand why employees take so long to make drinks. Don't stop at this location if your short on time. read more

I go to the Starbucks once a week since it opened it seems like its getting slower and slower I was in the drive thru with one car ahead of me I could see through the windows on my left hand side there was four people working one person in the inside doing studying one car in front of me and they got one drink after 9 minutes painfully slow they think everything's a joke!!!!! One of the worst Starbucks experiences of all time. They took 20 minutes on 3 drinks and when I got the drinks they were all cold and didn't taste right. While ordering I asked for a lemonade and a strawberry tea and they told me that all there tea products were out. Poor management if you ask me. read more
