To exit its right turn only onto Beach Blvd. Service here can be hit or miss. Long lines due to the groups of bikers, book clubs, study groups that linger here. So expect a wait during busy hours. Besides that this is one of my favorite Starbucks to buy stuff!! It always has a huge huge huge selection on merchandise from mugs to tumblers. Especially during the holidays. Although I do prefer locally owned coffee shops, I still have a gold card and appreciate my free refills on iced and hot coffee. I wanted to share the best experience I've ever had at a Starbucks all thanks to Mila. It was my birthday so my wife and I decided to visit this location to redeem my birthday reward. Mila said happy birthday and engaged in a great conversation with us while we waited for our drinks. She asked us what we got from Portos across the street and what we were doing later and I said eating Korean BBQ. She shared her love for Korean BBQ as well! This is a walk up window only location, there is no indoor or outdoor seating. There is a drive thru which is usually packed but quick. Please be aware that this location has heavy traffic of homeless/drug users. Most are friendly and relatively clean but there are a select few who like to think they're on set filming a crime based movie. I'm going to say they're harmless too, I mean really, will a scary guy/girl tell you they're scary? I should mention this location is on an extremely busy corner and if coming south on Lakewood you're able to turn in but north requires a u-turn or a left turn and left into the staterbros parking lot. I can say that this location usually gets my order correct, trust me that's a huge feat with some other locations I've been to. read more

I might have hit this Starbucks at the wrong time because the line was super long and the service was super slow. The crew seemed disorganized and there was one person who was obviously new and didn't really know how to enter orders into the register. There was one crew member who was EXCELLENT, she pretty much was holding it all together on her own. Her name was Amy. Hooray for Amy, if it weren't for you, I'm not sure I would have ever received my hot chocolate! Again, I hit this Starbucks during a huge rush, so that likely affected the service. Earlier today I decided to try the Sweet Vanilla Cream Cold Brew and I realized that I need my coffee sweet! It was good but still bitter for me and next time I will add more cream. The sweetness of the cream was delish but I added vanilla and chocolate powdered sugar and a bag of raw sugar that are provided as condiments. This location is one of the best starbucks location, inside and out. It is spacious, perfect place to get some work in (many outlets, modern seating areas with sofa chairs, long/round/rectangular tables, bright & cozy). Servers are friendly and drinks/food are as expected of Starbucks. Restrooms are clean too. Because of all these, it's filled with many people throughout the day and seating can be limited. read more

They recently moved to a new location from an old one that located a couple hundreds feet away. The new place is nice and spacious. The old store had super fast WiFi. I always came to study almost every weekend. I review and deduct two stars for the new place because of the super slow WiFi today. I might try to come one more time. Just went to this location to buy $100 gift cards and I was sent away because I forgot my face ask. I asked if they had any face masks to offer their customers and they rudely said NO. Meanwhile, right next to me, less than one foot away stood a girl asking for napkins without a face mask. The only difference between her and I was that she had already paid for her drink, and that's why it was ok for her not to wear a mask. I pointed it out to the male cashier and he rudely continued to dismiss me. I ordered 3 traveler sized coffee for pick-up through a phone order early at 645am since they open at 4am. It was for a morning arrangement, and I asked it to be ready by 730am. The server that helped me when I arrived told me that their "computers" went down and were unable to process any app orders, but I told them that I called it in. customer service here is straight trash. I get that it's a busy store and the employees have to deal with a lot of orders, but some of the employees lack common sense. Saturday November 15th we went to The Bodies Exhibit and this Starbucks was right next store. We got there a little before 6pm. At this time Starbucks had the promotion going on buy one get one free from 2-5 and extended until 6pm for rewards members. However we got there before 6 for our buy one get one free drink but the line was long and by the time we got up to the register it was 6:10. They said they couldn't honor the deal because it was past 6. We paid for our drinks but I was still a little annoyed. The guy at the resister was new and didn't really know even how to properly reload my friends Starbucks card so he really didn't have a response to our compliant. However Casey the barista heard us and said it's in the computer, which manually gives the discount so there was nothing they could do about it. I took a minute to talk to Natalie an assistant manager since the manger wasn't there. Once I told her what happened she refunded the drink money. I was very happy with that and realize they might have just been understaffed, especially since the line was so long.
