normally this starbucks is on point but today not so much. the ladies stopped helping after a family placed their order. it took the manager to state to help in order for the ladies to help me. 5 employees and not one wanted to help me and my puppy when there was also a mom & her son behind me. they looked at me and than proceeded to do their shuffling for other people's drinks. that's not quality service. i didn't appreciate the inconsiderate employee who looked at me holding my dog and a coffee from coffee bean not to assist. i walk here a lot and been around for a while. this is the first time i felt "dissed" at this location. i did purchase items as well so i didn't just come there to dilly dally. read more

Today mark's the Starbucks mania over the new Unicorn Frappucino that's all over social media. To fulfill the strong desire to get my hands on this drink, I wasted no time in placing an app order to avoid long lines inside the store. When I opened the app on my phone, I realized I'm in for a free reward drink. Since the drink will be free, I ordered my Unicorn Frappucino with whatever add-ons I can put on such as Whipped Cream, Caramel Drizzle, Dolce Sprinkles, Banana, Chocolate and other things I can no longer remember. I just went super crazy with the add ons. Since it turned out to be some sort of an experimental drink, I didn't care what the taste would be like. I thought I can easily just throw it away if I didn't like it. To my surprise, it actually turned out pretty good. The most prominent taste was banana and then later on, it was a merriment of both sweet and sour taste. Over all, I was happy with my drink. Will I order this drink again? I think once is enough. This Starbucks is an absolute nightmare. It's right across from the Burbank town Center and AMC theater. Watch out for all of the suburbanites with nothing else to do but shop on the weekends. Yesterday when I went in, the line was about 15 minutes long to order. When I finally got to the cashier, she was in such a hurry to get my order completed that I wasn't able to get it in correctly. About 10 minutes later when I received my drink, it was honestly not what I wanted. There was whipped cream on it. I went to the barista and asked her if she could just remove the whipped cream from the top of it and put a flat lid on it. She frustratedly agreed. But her actions and movement indicated how frustrated she was. She poured some of my drink out as well as the whipped cream and gave it back to me, almost slamming it on the counter and gave a fake smile. Then I tasted it and it was definitely not what I ordered. Since I had burned a bridge with that barista I had to find a different one. I explained to him what was happening and he gladly remade my drink without any questions asked. That was a saving point of me ever coming back to this place again. The staff at this location are fantastic! Always great service and they do the best they can in a very busy location. This review is for the recent Corporate Remodel: Now an incredibly cold and uninviting Hospital White, extremely clinical, boring, and doesn't inspire any sense of community. More than half the seating is gone in what can only be described as "get your coffee and leave." The lovely wood tones and hand crafted mural are gone with one that looks more like a high school project but not in a community action kind of way, in a "cheap hotel art" kind of way. I know people used to come here and have meetings, brainstorm scripts and ideas, and it was certainly a haven for those who didn't have anywhere else warm or dry to stay and I'm not a conspiracy nut but I would guess that this new redesign is meant to address (at least partially) that particular "problem" Again not at all a reflection of the actual workers at this location they are lovely and probably deserve more hours and support from corporate. read more

The staff at this location is a huge hit and miss. I have seen just a few who are in between. Today I walked in to pick up a mobile order and was parched from a long walk and being food poisoned. So I asked for water to the barista preparing the drinks. This is a request I very frequently make at any and all Starbucks I go to. It has never EVER been a problem with anyone and while I understand I would have to wait often for them to get to filling the water, I have absolutely no problem doing that. Instead this barista on this particular day, by the name of Vanessa, declined to give my water and asked me to stand in line when my face was very visibly NOT ok. I never had to ever stand in line again to request water especially after I had already picked up a rather large mobile order. I was disgusted and wanted to share her name because people like her need to be held accountable for their actions. The line was quite long and I had to wait at least 5-7 minutes just to request a water. I hope that the management takes the appropriate actions to train her on customer service. I actually hate this location because parking in downtown Burbank is a pain and this Starbucks always had somebody camped outside of it with a table asking for money for some sort of cause so every time you walk by it's awkward and annoying... but I still come in because the older male cashier (Jimmy I think since others are saying the same here as well!) is so sweet and always makes me smile with his jokes. I owe this Starbucks store an update; after 4 years, they have come around again! Thank you for whoever is managing it for making this store bearable! Even enjoyable. The lines are less, the attitude is wonderful, and drinks - well they're usually very good! I was dreading stopping by the other day; but to my surprise, it was a pleasant experience. I thought, huh... interesting. Then I went again on Thursday around 3:00 p.; in fact, I intended it rather than my usual store. It was an afternoon, when they had the special of buy one and gift the other one. I thought it will be a nightmare. But again, I was impressed. Manager, take note: The employee at the register was pleasant, and fun, and fast. And the barista... bless her heart! That girl was making drinks so fast, and with so much concentration, and passion, like her life depended on it. Had to get my morning fix after I grabbed a bagel from across the street. Located in downtown Burbank, and in a busy area. I got my Venti Cold Brew as usual and enjoyed it out on the patio. It's a smaller Starbucks, but it doesn't look like a location where people sit around and chat all day. It is thursday early in the morning and employees are all up to beat and hyper. This shift looks amazing. They greet all customers and drinks are served fast and quick. I never saw a line. They even did a chant for one of their frequent customers. I know employees rotate often but felt like a good environment to study in. They have a good selection of the boxed lunches. There is a decent amount of seating but again it is a busy location so I had to stand at a table to enjoy my drink. This is the only starbucks that doesnt get really packed on weekdays (the seats i mean). You will always have a vacant seat (if you like to use the long table). Im always at this place every day to do my studying and luckily i get my fave spot everytime i go there. You just have to be patient when the line gets long enough to get to the restroom area at the back. But still its a good place to stop by. Parking? Just use the underground parking on Palm Ave and just walk there instead of parking at the side with a very limited time. If you want to stay there long, use the underground parking. oh and the parking? better watch your time, they only have 2 and 4hr parking at the underground. guards walk around that place every now and then. read more

Maybe I'm not the best for this review since I do intermittent fasting and only have black coffee but I love this location. So the time you have to wait for coffee is very low. I've been to other locations that actually take much longer. This location does accept the Starbucks rewards points, and I say this because there are some locations that don't. Confirmed this one does. There are multiple parking locations. Up the street on palm or behind Fuddruckers in the multi story parking lot for Burbank, or even the farther one by the Burbank mall that one usually always has space. It stays clean and there is restroom with a code(just ask and they'll give you the code). Mornings aren't too hectic but try to walk into this one on a weekend and you may be waiting for a while.
